Jodders I feel the opposite of you... isn't it funny how we worry. You that you're sick already and me that I'm not and don't even feel pregnant! Could definitely be twins for you ha

Jjspoon · 29/06/2016 23:03

For anyone looking for a book, I downloaded 'bump' earlier and am loving it... read it for a few hours straight this evening!

2ManySweets · 29/06/2016 23:45

My sense of smell is now off the chart. Someone is eating delicious crisps on this train and it's driving me CRAZY.

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/06/2016 08:40

Oh yes 2many I've got that too! Mil even said she thought I was pregnant when we stopped for some petrol and I could smell the coffee, it smelt amazing!

SuperDuperJezebel · 30/06/2016 09:04

I managed to see my GP already and get booked in, am only about 4 and 1/2 weeks too. Had an appointment for something else so I got it all done at the same time. Had a small go at DH this morning, I'm feeling quite overwhelmed by the whole thing and he's not very talkative about it. We've had a house full of people since before I found out so it's been hard to discuss, but he's not mentioned it in private unless I bring it up. Hes always been the wrong silent type and he was utterly delighted when I told him I was pregnant but it's really annoyed me!

BridgetDoodle · 30/06/2016 09:39

Jezebel I had the same chat with my own DH. After the intital shock of finding out he didn't seem to care, or at least was more excited about the football 😏 he said it just doesn't seem real to him yet. I tell him everyday about the development etc and he has been loads better! I think it's just hard for the men at this early stage, they also will have to be there if anything goes wrong so trying to keep our feet on the ground!

SuperDuperJezebel · 30/06/2016 10:40

Good to know I'm not the only one! Mine went to the cricket last night, I sent him a message to say I'd been to the GP. Reply was "great, cricket will continue for another hour at least"!

AlexiaB · 30/06/2016 12:56

Hey ladies - congrats!

I'm very tentatively joining this thread. I've been reading since the beginning and hoping with everything I have that I'd soon be able to join you. We've been ttc for 15 months and this has never happened before... I think I got a BFP this morning at 10dpo! I definitely saw a faint pinky line and so did DH. It's not showing up that well in pics but two friends have said they can see something. FF were a bit mean and some said it's an indent line :(

I know I'll only know more when I test tomorrow but I'm so desperate and wanted to share it here to see if any of you can see anything or have any experiences to share with me. (eddMarch 13) xx

SuperDuperJezebel · 30/06/2016 13:23

Hi Alexia

Hopeful congratulations... My lines were very faint to begin with and took a good few minutes to develop at first. It was only when I left a seemingly negative test on the side of the bath/shower and forgot about it til I got out a few minutes later and looked again, that I saw a very faint pink line. Will cross everything for you!

mynameisntLinda · 30/06/2016 13:36

Alex my first positive looked negative and it was only when I accidentally knocked the bin over later on and it fell out that i thought i saw a line. Although I think they tell you not to read results after a certain time. I did a CB digi and it said 1-2 weeks.
Hope you can join us on the March bus : )

AlexiaB · 30/06/2016 13:45

Thank you ladies! That's really reassuring to hear :)

I sat looking at it (on the toilet) for about 2 mins then I got up thinking 'it's negative like always'. Then when I picked it up to take it to the bedroom I was staring at it and thinking omg there's something there!!?? Got my phone torchlight on and I was like OMG!! I then called DH upstairs immediately and he couldn't see it at first until I turned on my phone torchlight. So fingers crossed it gets darker tomorrow! I do have cramps and I've been feeling nauseous on an off for a week. Could just be anxiety and nerves though who knows! X

alphabook · 30/06/2016 13:58

It's hard to tell in that photo but I've got my fingers crossed for you Alexia!

DaisyBank82 · 30/06/2016 14:00

Hi AlexiaB. I've attached my tests so far. Saturday was faint (no idea how many days PO but 3/4 days before period was due. They've got darker since then, so I really hope tomorrow's test is clearer for you. Are you using first response? Mine were Waitrose own brand.
In other news, I feel less pregnant today :( it could be that my body has got used to the hormones (for now) and I'm trying not to imagine the worst....

Jodders · 30/06/2016 14:12

Congratulations Alexia.

I was reading through and wondering if I should take another test. I only took one but it was a digital and said 3+ so I feel a bit like I didn't get to see the line develop. Maybe I will buy some more? Although I feel terribly sick so I guess all is ok.

gininteacupsandleavesonthelawn · 30/06/2016 14:17

I've had 4 positive tests now so accepting it's true! Absolutely bursting to talk about it but DP doesn't really know what to say...

AlexiaB · 30/06/2016 14:19

Thanks alpha. I think you can only see it if you save it, zoom in on full brightness haha!

Yes it was a First Response Daisy. Some people on FF have said faint lines commonly appear and turn out to be negative which has bloody scared me!
Your tests have progressed nicely :) I'm sure everything is okay but I understand the worry you have.

Giraffemama1 · 30/06/2016 14:51

Hi
Got my BFP yesterday been trying for baby 2 for 2 years with 2 miscarriages along the way.
Praying for a sticky bean x

NameChange30 · 30/06/2016 15:04

Hi Alexia, are you using FRERs? (Looks like a FRER in the photo...) I think FRERs are more sensitive than digital tests so that's definitely your best option when you're testing early. I can't see a line but they don't always show on photos. Gx you get a clearer line in the next day or two!

Hi Giraffe and congratulations! Gx this one is a sticky bean xx

Dozygirl · 30/06/2016 15:18

Tentatively joining.

From reading through briefly there's seems to be a few of you with pretty much the same story as me heehee.

Have a 10month dd and now 4 weeks pregnant with second. We went on holiday 2 weeks ago and dtd once! It was cd 20 so I felt sure I'd missed ovulation. I'm excited but also extremely terrified at the same time and thinking what the hell was I thinking haha. Dp also very shocked. He knows I wanted another one but i guess he didn't think it would happen so soon. I'm still breasteeding and still on maternity leave. Doesn't really feel real yet. Not sure of due date because my periods had only just come back so the cycle length was all over the place but I know exactly when we conceived seeing as we only did it the once lol.

Cantstringawordtogether · 30/06/2016 15:31

Congratulations to all the masters bfps xx

Cantstringawordtogether · 30/06/2016 15:31

Damn autocorrect latest bfps not masters!!

neonrainbow · 30/06/2016 15:52

More bfps lovely!!

I went to lunch with girls from work and one of them had her son with her she was like "you next!" Heh heh little does she know!!

alphabook · 30/06/2016 16:06

Congrats Dozy and Giraffe!

I've started feeling sick the last couple of days, and I'm craving ALL the carbs! It's nice to have symptoms though, it's actually starting to feel real. Although I worked out that this Saturday will be the equivalent of the day I mc last time which has freaked me out a bit, even though I know it's not rational.

DaisyBank82 · 30/06/2016 17:41

Hmmm I have been trying to work out if I can ignore it but I have a persistent dull period like ache :( There is no spotting/ bleeding at the moment but I can't help worrying this is the start of the end. I don't want to take any paracetamol as I want to feel it so I can guage if it's bad or not. If I wasn't entertaining a toddler I'd go to bed :'( I don't remember having any cramps particularly last time, apart from a really bad sharp one on one day on which I went home from work, but it was all fine after that.

NameChange30 · 30/06/2016 18:04

Daisy I have exactly the same thing. Like mild period pain. Pretty much constant for the last 6 days or so. I haven't had any bleeding either.

It's so hard not to worry about miscarriage isn't it? Sad
