Hi everyone!

Cinnamon that sounds worrying but a HB is a great sign and also it's not eptopic (I think that was was meant by in the right place). When will you go back?

Cloey Any news? Thinking of you.

Sorry for you sicky ones, it's never fun. Was never sick last time (except during labour and pushing - fun times!) so can only sympathise.

Welcome to all newcomers! tutulove it's no-one's business but yours Smile

ItsMagicYouKnow · 18/07/2016 17:17

Oops posted too soon... as I was saying, tutu, I'm a little worried that people will think it's too soon for us (DS just 2, even I'm surprised at myself!), but really, it's our family so we get to decide and we don't have to justify it. Other people shouldn't need an explanation behind your good news! Smile

Sorry to those having administrative problems already, having never had a baby in the UK, I can only hope you get it sorted, that's the kind of stress we really don't need!

ItsMagicYouKnow · 18/07/2016 17:20

Symptoms have revved up here today, doesn't help that it's 38 degrees C. Hello again lightheadedness! Skipped my post-lunch nap but am paying for it now...

ItsMagicYouKnow · 18/07/2016 17:24

P.S. When I said "eptopic", obviously I meant "ectopic" Blush I really am tired...

alphabook · 18/07/2016 18:36

Congrats to the new BFPs!

Purple I started a new job today, at 7+5. I'm not going to tell them until at least 12 weeks as it gives me time to settle in and hopefully make a good impression before dropping the bombshell! You'll be entitled to Maternity Allowance, which isn't that much less than SMP.

Cloey I would call your local EPU and see if they'll scan you, it may be too early but it's important to rule out an ectopic pregnancy if you're having a lot of pain.

Great news about the scan Cinnamon! The bleeding must have been really scary. Miscarriage rates drop significantly once a heartbeat has been detected so fingers crossed everything will be ok from now on.

Cantstringawordtogether · 18/07/2016 18:50

Oh cinnamon sorry to hear you've had such a scare, glad all was good with your little bean in the scan x

Fx nice job on the list! Congrats to the new bfps :)

I'm beyond tired today, had 2 of the kids at the doc this morning and had to drop my eldest to a driving lesson and do a bit of shopping and check in on my mum's house (she's away) and by the time I got home I was bloody flattened so there's been nothing done around the house all day, and it doesn't take long before this place looks like a bomb hit it with 7 people in the house!!

Have gone totally off meat, my babies must be veggies in the womb as this always happens me during pregnancy! No fun cooking burgers for kids' dinner earlier, yuk yuk yuk!!!

Thank god it's such a nice day here so kids have been happy our playing in the garden all afternoon! Roll on bedtime!

Kayls89 · 18/07/2016 19:24

Cinnamon that sounds so scary. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for the lovely welcome everyone. Smile

charlybs due date twins! Have you managed to get hold of a midwife yet? Congratulations on your wedding too!

I've got my first appointment tomorrow with the GP. The only major symptom I've had is an upset tummy for the past week. Anyone else have this?

Gardencentregroupie · 18/07/2016 19:49

alpha congratulations on the new job, how was your first day?

kayls I had an upset stomach on and off the whole time through my pregnancy with DD. Hope yours settles soon.

It has been too bloody hot today, I've melted, I felt so sick most of the day and I'm sure it's because of the heat.

purplesmiler · 18/07/2016 20:17

Thanks alpha I'm just worried as didn't expect to be in this position as much as it feels great. I do hope both our workplaces are kind to us.

Cloeycat · 18/07/2016 20:19

Just back from the hospital, they did a scan, everything was fine! Saw the heartbeat and I am so relieved, I am very impressed with the NHS and how quickly they've been able to check everything out.

Cloeycat · 18/07/2016 20:23

Purplersmiler I have also only recently started my new job and won't qualify for SMP but now I've looked into it the SMA from the government is actually quite good and I am not as worried.

With regards to telling my new boss- I'm holding off till about 16 weeks I think, try and make them see I'm the best employee they've ever had! Or at least a mediocre employee they can't be bothered replacing.

Carolann8584 · 18/07/2016 20:40

Hi ladies

Has anyone had pain across their shoulders, behind shoulder blades and up their neck? Had all last night and all day so far. Sad

ChoChang · 18/07/2016 20:51

cloey that's great about the scan you must feel great seeing that. cinnamon that's very scary, bleeding is awful, but to see a pregnancy with a heartbeat is fantastic. Got everything crossed for you that things continue uneventfully and for no more bleeding.

Carol, shoulder pain is one of the watch out for signs for an ectopic pregnancy. Of course it doesn't mean that's what it is, but I'd keep an eye on it and maybe give your epu a ring and see what they say just to be on the safe side.

Cantstringawordtogether · 18/07/2016 20:51

Great news cloey Grin

Carolann I have similar today, just in my right shoulder though and I'm stiff around my ribs too, had some pins and needles in my fingers so I think it's a trapped nerve? Could you have slept awkwardly last night or something?

Cantstringawordtogether · 18/07/2016 20:52

Meant to say I googled because I was thinking about ectopic but that seems to be specifically shoulder tip pain and mine is more along my collar bone.....

AngelBlue12 · 18/07/2016 20:53

Cant how old are all yours? Ours are 12,9,7,4 and 20 months. I can fully sympathise with the bomb hit house lol.

Cinnamon and Cloey so glad things are ok :)

deuscat · 18/07/2016 20:54

Cloey so glad everything went well at the hospital.

Carolann I would get that pain checked out. Ectopic pregnancies can cause shoulder tip pain. Probably isn't that but I thought I should mention it!

4+6 here and the only symptom is major exhaustion

Carolann8584 · 18/07/2016 21:13

Thanks ladies, if I'm still the same in the morning I'll pop into my docs

I've had trouble sleeping for over a week, tossing and turning, just can't get comfy.

X

NameChange30 · 18/07/2016 21:14

FXSkip Thanks for doing the list, excellent work! Amazing that there are 7 babies all due on 17 March!

Lake We're due date buddies! Smile

Cinnamon and Cloey I'm so glad your scans were normal and the babies have a heartbeat, that must be a big relief. Hope there are no more causes for concern and all goes smoothly from now on.

Blue I'm glad the secret's safe with your DH this time Grin I feel the same, happy but not excited - too exhausted for that!

Cantstringawordtogether · 18/07/2016 21:19

Angel I have 17, almost 7, 5, almost 4 and almost 2 :) (3 birthdays in August/September!)

QueenFee · 18/07/2016 21:34

Hi can I tentatively join here. I had a very faint BFP a couple of days ago and I'm going to re-test in the morning.

This is DC5 and we are really happy but feel quite nervous about telling people as i am expecting some nasty comments :(
My other DCs are 12,9,7 and 4. HAve told a couple of close friends but thats it. I think my EDD will be 28th March but may get pushed into April as my cycles were all over the plce after having the coil removed.

charlybs · 18/07/2016 21:42

Well done for the new list fx it's getting big!

So glad we had some happy scans today that gives me hope for the rest of us

NameChange30 · 18/07/2016 21:47

charlybs Great news, yay! I was hoping the midwife would be more helpful than the annoying receptionist or whoever it was at your GP surgery who was being difficult!

ItsMagicYouKnow · 18/07/2016 22:10

Great news Cloey!

Carolann I've been getting tingling in my shoulder, it's mostly when I drive, so I imagine it's something to do with my posture, although why pregnancy should cause that I have no idea! Something to do with the relaxin (?) hormone perhaps? In any case, as it's more like pins and needles than pain, I'm not too worried. Plus I've had no cramps or bleeding. Sounds stupid, but I don't even know where the shoulder tip is! The bit on the outside? Blush

Carolann8584 · 18/07/2016 22:39

Magic its where your shoulder meets the top of your arm, I don't have pain there, I do have to odd shooting pain down to my elbows though, docs in the morning I think
