Hello M9 welcome! I'm technically due 26th Feb but everyone on the Feb thread felt waaaayyy ahead of me! congrats on your BFP - how far along do you think you are?

BridgetDoodle · 12/07/2016 18:31

Alpha I came on here to see if anyone is feeling the same way I am....totally miserable. I have never felt this ill in my life. The thought of it lasting for another 6 weeks minimum is more than I can just about bare! Just phoned my mum in tears and she helpfully told me she felt this way every day while pregnant with me until she was induced. Struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

M90S91J14 · 12/07/2016 18:43

FXSkip

4 weeks excatly edd 21st

I had a inkling last week then Sunday started dry heaving but a negative test so I waited a couple of days and got a faint line this morning!

NameChange30 · 12/07/2016 18:59

Aw Bridget don't listen to your mum, from everything I've heard and read it will get better. Do see your GP in case you need sickness meds and/or a bit of time off work.

alpha Glad you're on holiday, at least you have a bit of a break at the moment! Good luck with the new job and if you are unwell it can't be helped, I'm sure they will be ok about it.

I went to see the GP today because of suspected thrush, she was absolutely lovely and said congratulations on the pregnancy so that's made me feel all warm and fuzzy Smile She also signed my form for free prescriptions, handy!

NameChange30 · 12/07/2016 19:01

FXSkip Thanks so much for the yoga tips!

AngelBlue12 · 12/07/2016 19:13

* Cant and Princess - I'm not looking forward to what people have to say either. I know already we'll get the 'don't you have a tv' line. And hey Princess* When I was pregnant with our 3rd my mum said the DH should go to the vet and get neutered!!!

Cant It is so nice to 'meet' someone else expecting number 6. I love our large family - mostly organised chaos lol.

Dozygirl · 12/07/2016 19:53

Lots more bfps! Congrats.

Wow to those of you with 4 plus kids. You're like supermums in my eyes. I struggle enough with 1 and am worried about 2.

Can't remember who asked about 9 weeks for booking in. I reckon that's fine. Our midwives don't want to see us till 11 weeks here which I hate because it seems so far away and doesn't leave much time to book 12 week scan. I think I got impatient last time waiting to hear from them so just rang them up myself at 9 weeks to get booked in then rang to book my own scan because was also impatiently waiting and managed to get booked in that way. I don't do waiting.

charlybs · 12/07/2016 19:57

Thanks dozygirl I rang the doctors earlier to check and they said it was fine! I can have my first appt at 9 weeks then scan will be a bit delayed, around 13/14 weeks so I can go on honeymoon yay Grin

Happygojo86 · 12/07/2016 20:29

I didn't book in til 10 weeks last time, I got my scan at exactly 12 weeks (which turned out to be 13 weeks as I measured a week ahead). I did see the doctor first but it was pretty pointless. Going to phone tomorrow to see what the deal is. Last time I was really impatient to book in but this time the later the better. I want to see if my BMI will go below 30 (currently 31) so then I won't need the GTT diabetes 'lucazade challenge' test

NameChange30 · 12/07/2016 20:44

Is anyone else feeling hungry all the time?
I thought I'd spend the first trimester feeling sick and not wanting to eat, but that is not happening!
I'm overweight already and don't need to put more on Confused

MissClarke86 · 12/07/2016 20:46

Hi ladies, has anyone got a 3+ on a clearblue digi yet?

I'm a bit anxious as I got 2-3 weeks at 18dpo and still 2-3 weeks at 22dpo. I was hoping it'd have moved to 3+ by now.

I've had one MC and a CP so I'm finding it hard to just sit and wait without anxiously POAS...

BridgetDoodle · 12/07/2016 20:57

How far along are you namechange? My advice is eat what you like when you can incase the sickness comes! I've barely managed a bite all day. DH has been sent out for some ginger nuts in the hope they'll help 🙏🏼

NameChange30 · 12/07/2016 21:11

Bridget I'm 6+5... Sore boobs and cramps but no nausea! Hope your ginger nuts help x

Jjspoon · 12/07/2016 21:13

namechange yes, all I do is eat lol. Especially pasta and cereal. I'm seriously eating all day long. I'm not overweight but will be if I carry on like this. I used to be good at resisting but since that BFP I just eat all day long even though I know we don't actually need to eat anymore! Last week a colleague caught me pouring cereal into my mouth from the box. I don't know how anyone hasn't guessed yet lol but it was a guy so he just thought it was funny.

NameChange30 · 12/07/2016 21:18

Jjspoon Grin Thanks, I feel a bit better now!

Dozygirl · 12/07/2016 21:19

I put on so much weight with dd because eating helped the nausea and then I just greedy and used being pregnant as excuse to have my cake and eat it. I didnt eat healthily at all. So this time I don't want that to happen at all. But i don't seem to be losing weight at all and it's really getting to me despite being really careful about what I eat. Also want my bmi to be lower like happygojo. I was a stone and a half lighter last time than I am now.

Have been doing hiit workouts off you tube so going to continue with those while i still can.

Jjspoon · 12/07/2016 21:25

Oh God I'm far too tired to do any exercise :(. I had good intentions and booked a few classes but have cancelled them all last minute as just too tired. And I told my yoga teacher and she asked me not to come back u til after the 12 week mark so I've literally done nothing and will be the size of a house soon. I'm trying not to feel too guilty at the moment though because I know sickness could strike at any time so I'm putting it all in storage lol

Gardencentregroupie · 12/07/2016 21:45

namechange this time round I'm not sick but I'm really bloated and uncomfortable so I'm not eating much, but with DD I was sick and I was permanently starving. Eating helped keep the nausea at bay.

I have my pointless appointment with the GP this Thursday. In the area where I used to live you booked in with the midwives direct, which made more sense than me. I'm 5+2 today, its dragging!

I've had to tell work already because I felt so woozy and faint the other day,it wasn't safe to do my normal road (police officer, driving police cars and working with the public in a pretty rough area!) Plus I'm so bloody bloated my uniform trousers don't fit at the moment :(

alphabook · 12/07/2016 22:27

Bridget it's pretty miserable isn't it? I have days that are better than others but on bad days I don't know how I'll cope until 12 weeks feeling like this. The thought of an entire pregnancy feeling like this fills me with horror! And then I feel guilty that I'm not being grateful enough and I'm going to jinx it and lose the baby.

Pregnancy hasn't really been the magical experience I thought it would be so far!

CinnamonTwist · 12/07/2016 22:34

Blimey this thread is hard to keep up with! Welcome all the new BFPs and congratulations Grin
Regarding exercising - I'm still playing squash, have somehow accidentally agreed to a marathon session with 3 other ladies on Monday too... Not sure how that will go, hoping the sickness won't have kicked in by then or I'll have to pretend I've got the lurgy or something! I was playing before ttc, so I plan on continuing as long as I can manage to as exercise is supposed to help with morning sickness, apparently!! We are just starting out building works on our house too, which will be massively stressful and a great mix to go with pregnancy hormones, we don't do simple I don't think Hmm but on the bright side it means the house will be perfect or there will be hell to pay by the time the LO comes along Grin

ChoChang · 12/07/2016 22:39

Evening all. After joining this morning i just tried to read back through the thread but its so long i got to about page 13 and was shattered and had to give up, so will just try to pick it up from here onwards! After my bfp this morning i poa clearblue digi after work and got 2-3 weeks, which at 4+4 is bang on, so that was quite reassuring.

Thinking of calling the gp surgery in the morning even though its very early days to try and get a booking appt as going on holiday early august for a couple of weeks when ill be 7-8 weeks. Have people generally called straight away? How many weeks along do you usually have the booking in appt? (Sorry if this has already been discussed)

Hope all those with sickness are doing ok. So far im just crampy and mildly nauseous. Looking forward to some proper symptoms kicking in, although i think ill be rejoining slimming world to try and keep my weight gain to a minimum!

Beautytobe · 12/07/2016 23:30

Hi am nearly 7 weeks this is my 5th pregnancy but I have only managed to go full term with my daughter. Nervous beyond words
Sick as a dog but I was with all my pregnancies. I hope I get to hold my rainbow baby this time

charlybs · 13/07/2016 07:08

Chochang hi and congrats :) I'm also going on holiday - having my first Drs appointment on the 9th August (couldn't get one sooner I'll be 8+5) which means I can't get a scan or midwife appt til I get back from honeymoon when I'll be 13/14 weeks. I rang my surgery to check if that was fine and they were like yeah sure whatever so I think it's fairly easygoing unless you have concerns?

PenguinTuxedo · 13/07/2016 07:37

Hi! I thought I'd come and say hello as I really can't keep denying I'm pregnant anymore Blush I've got a dd who is only 11 months so I'm in complete shock tbh! Had an absolutely terrible pregnancy first time round so I really don't know how I'm going to get through this one!

neonrainbow · 13/07/2016 08:10

Looks like the thread is filling up nicely!
