Tentatively joining you all. I got a Bfp on Monday but have been utterly exhausted so have collapsed into bed as soon as I put ds to bed.

Edd is 12th of March. This will dc2 although I had a mc before Ds hence the tentative joining.

ItsMagicYouKnow · 08/07/2016 14:59

Soooo exhausted this afternoon! Lots of work to do though...

Had an icky moment this morning while out and about, quickly remedied by getting a snack down me! I'm eating so well at the moment making the most of it before nausea and food aversions set in!

Welcome and congrats to all the newcomers! Smile

SecretScaryFriend · 08/07/2016 15:09

Congrats to the new arrivals!

Cloeycat · 08/07/2016 15:25

I am really worried about a lack of symthoms- I am exhausted but tbh that's not anything new for me I have always struggled with tiredness, no sore boobs, no nausea. Currently 6 weeks and have been told I won't get a scan until 12 weeks- it feels like a lifetime away!

SpanielLedWeaning · 08/07/2016 15:31

I have barely any symptoms either. A bit tired but I've got a million and one things to do at the moment so that's probably normal. No sore boobs, no change in eating, no aversions.

To be honest I'm enjoying not being engulfed by symptoms right now. Plenty of time for that later.

fluffynonny · 08/07/2016 15:45

cloeycat I wouldn't worry too much about lack of symptoms - they didn't kick off until about 8 weeks with my last pregnancy and so far I've had sore boobs but that's it... but everyone is different. I have friends who never had any symptoms at all, and everything was fine with their little ones. As spaniel says, enjoy the lack of symptoms while it lasts!

NameChange30 · 08/07/2016 16:46

Wow, lots of new BFPs, congrats everyone!

Beckyloulou100 · 08/07/2016 17:37

Hope everyone is doing ok. I am struggling to eat today, I fill up so quickly...almost as if I have a gastric band!

Congrats to all the new BFPs!

WhamBamThankYouStan · 08/07/2016 17:48

I'm so tired Sad

Beckyloulou100 · 08/07/2016 17:56

Whambam ...I am too :-(. It's awful isn't it. Never felt tiredness like this before.

ItsMagicYouKnow · 08/07/2016 18:07

No symptoms doesn't mean anything is wrong, just like lots of symptoms doesn't necessarily mean everything is OK unfortunately.

Obviously it's reassuring to have physical signs that things are happening in there, but honestly, nothing to worry about if not, and you never know, you might wake up tomorrow sick as a dog Wink

The tiredness though... zzzzz

Jjspoon · 08/07/2016 18:34

Glad to hear there are others with no symptoms now too. I was feeling really left out with everyone talking about their sore boobs and other symptoms. Don't get me wrong I'd rather not have them lol but I was worrying and feeling a bit alone. It's weird to know you're pregnant but not feel any different when you've expected this massive change all of a sudden!

This thread is crazy busy! It's so hard to keep up. I wonder if there's a bit of a current baby boom or if every month has this many BFPs?! We're only on early mid March dates now so could be so many more yet!

Cantstringawordtogether · 08/07/2016 18:44

Jeepers this thread is moving so fast! Congratulations and welcome to all the new bfps!
Alpha hope you have better news at the next scan, fingers crossed for you xx

Can't remember user names but to the other ladies that are having a difficult time hang in there, hope things improve soon xx

On hols at the mo, sickness kicked in a few days ago as did the tiredness so having lots of early nights and naps in the car!!

NameChange30 · 08/07/2016 18:53

Apparently there are more babies conceived in the summer - no idea why the good weather makes us more fertile, but that must be it! So June/July/August conception would mean lots of March/April/May babies...

ItsMagicYouKnow · 08/07/2016 19:09

I think ours was conceived around the summer solstice, and the moon was in a good position too Wink

2ManySweets · 08/07/2016 19:36

At last the friggin' clearblue moves on to 3+

Had my booking in appt with the midwife yesterday; I'm 6+5 apparently, "the earliest booking in she's ever done".

Also: consultant led care. Again. Which is good but it's not allayed my fears about this pg being "risky"....

BridgetDoodle · 08/07/2016 20:18

So. Tired. That is all! Anyone else feeling like time is dragging? I'm only 5w 2d. The 12 week mark seems like it will never come!

ThePartyArtist · 08/07/2016 21:08

Had my initial appointment with the doctor and got the ball rolling for seeing the midwife. Just want to get to the next step so it feels a bit more real!

alphabook · 08/07/2016 21:22

Congrats to all the new BFPs!

I think sunshine and a big dose of vitamin D helps with conception! Not that we've had that much of it!

PrincessIrene · 08/07/2016 21:50

Hello. I think I've had a BFP today at 9dpo (cd23). It was evening do not FMU but a clear, albeit faint, line. The digital bit said not pregnant but the line inside is there. Not really sure how I feel to be honest. It would be DC5 and very unplanned.

Dozygirl · 08/07/2016 22:34

Did u take the digi test a part? Not sure but I've heard that's not reliable as it's not how those ones work. Maybe try a different test in a few days. 9 dpo is pretty early.

Dinosaursparklepup · 08/07/2016 22:50

Arrrgghhhh I'm so confused!!! Did a cb test this afternoon as have been feeling so weird all day, and the vertical line showed up immediately but then faded to almost nothing, but definitely something still there. Similar to what I have been getting on the internet cheapy sticks. I was hoping it would either be a definite yes or definite no, but I still feel unsure, it's so faint! Why isn't the line getting darker?? Should I assume that its positive?!

Happygojo86 · 08/07/2016 22:52

I've been doing loads of research on the digi tests today (dozy will tell me off Blush) anyway there are 2 strips inside, one is a 'sensitive' hcg test which doesn't have a control line which gives the 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' result and another strip with a control line that gives the weeks. The darker the test line the more weeks it says. Anywhoo! A negative test may have still have blue lines visible even though it's negative because they aren't meant to be inspected.

If you want to test early on you are best with a FRER or a superdrug early test. Or waiting a few more days. Then a (coloured) line within the time is a positive.

Gardencentregroupie · 09/07/2016 07:00

Urgh, be careful what you wish for - I was fretting about the total lack of symptoms, got into work this morning and haven't stopped puking :(

PourMeSomethingStronger · 09/07/2016 07:35

I had no symptoms at all with dad and went to the 12 week scan feeling like they were going to tell me there had been a mistake! But there wasn't, he was definitely there with his little heart beating.

After the miscarriage I'm clinging on to any symptoms I can this time to try and reassure myself. Sore boobs are the only thing just now. also done my cbd test this morning and came up as 2 to 3 weeks, so very happy to see that.
