NameChange are you still having cramps? I hope your feeling better, I can't offer any advice as its my first but just so you know I'm thinking of you. It's so tough every twinge or cramp I feel I worry its not normal. Rest up and hopefully the cramps will settle.

I told my mum yesterday, she didn't believe me at first but she is over the moon.

Not really noticed any cravings but I normally have such a sweet tooth and I have totally gone off sugar, don't know if this is psychological as I know sugars not great.

Has anyone given their little one a nickname yet? We are calling ours bean sprout.

Rosey Thanks so much, yes I'm still getting cramps on and off, but no bleeding so I'm telling myself it's normal. If the cramps get really painful again I will probably freak out again but I'm trying not to think about it!

Bean sprout is a cute nickname I'm using the Ovia app which tells me what size the baby is so we're using that for the nickname. First it was poppy seed, then peppercorn, and today I'm 6 weeks (yay!) so it's blueberry!

Ours is the bean of power because we just finished watching the lord of the rings. Dh started and now its stuck. Kind of apt cos he really likes the name Rohan for a boy.

Namechange we were doing the same but i set it to cute animals so mine is a ladybird now 😃

So glad your feeling better NameChange, it's such a stressful time, I'm trying to enjoy it at the moment before I get exhausted and sick but I keep wondering if things are normal, I thought symptom spotting while ttc was bad, I thought I'd be able to relax once I found out .... no such chance.

Ye I'll probably be back on the sugary things too before long, I can't help myself. I'm going to try to cut down though, I want to be as healthy as possible. I work in a wholefood shop and we make our own raw chocolate with coconut sugar and I convinced myself that was good for me! So if I fancy something sweet I might stick to that!

Tomorrow I'll be 5 weeks pregnant, with my first. Feels quite surreal writing that! Ovia tells me 10 March is my due date.
We conceived as soon as we started trying, which was a bit of a surprise! Feeling exhausted, on and off nausea, and a mix of euphoria and overwhelmed!

Hi PartyArtist Congratulations!! Ovia is telling me my due date is March the 10th too! It is very surreal, this is my first also, really glad to have this group to vent in so my other half doesn't get an ear full!

Ours is called Dot... A friend of ours nicknamed me and DH 'Big (Surname)' and 'Small (Surname)' because if our height difference so weve added 'Dot (Surname)' to the gang.

I think I conceived on 17 June so Ovia's calculated the due date from that, I think.

Does anyone on here know much about Hypnobirthing? It sounds interesting and I heard you have to practice the techniques but I'm not sure if it's too early to start. I am a real wimp with pain so want to be as prepared as poss!

I am going to look into hypnobirthing but the way i feel about giving birth i think i would seriously consider elcs!! Im half kidding but will think about birth options as things progress. And certainly not till I've seen the midwife.

Just had my 6 week scan and it's not great news. There's only a very small yolk sac so it's smaller than they would expect at this stage. They can't say for sure what's happening but it may be I'm going to have a miscarriage. I have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan.

And I've heard about hypnobirthing and it sounds really interesting, apparently it can help to calm the baby after its born as well, so could be useful!

alpha I'm so sorry to hear that :( Fx you get better news at your next scan. Like others have said, could your dates be wrong?

Thought I'd quickly update. I'm still in limbo and it's very confusing! Still no AF and I got another faint positive (darker than previous) 2 days ago. Been waiting for more FRERs to arrive from amazon but stupidly decided to use my CBD this morning and it said 'not pregnant'. Anything similar happen to anyone before? It's so hard not knowing what's going on and getting mixed messages. Going to buy more FRERs tonight and test tomorrow am.

alpha I'm so sorry, that must be worrying. It's going to be a slow 2 weeks waiting for your next scan! Hope your partner is being supportive, have you got anyone else to talk to as well? (Apart from us I mean!) x

Thanks everyone. I know when I ovulated because I was having fertility treatment, but there may be a chance that it was slow to implant. DH is brilliant and so supportive, and I have plenty of RL support. But it's going to be a long 2 weeks.

Alexia do you know how many DPO you are? CBDs aren't that sensitive so it may be saying not pregnant if it's just too early.

I've found I've gone off tea - I love my morning cuppa but I had about two sips today and that was all I could take

I also had one sip of tea then gagged this morning karryk. I don't know what to do without tea!
