Lovely to see more bfps. Hope everyone is doing ok

Heading off on hols here for 2 weeks so I will have a lot of catching up to do here when I get back!

2ManySweets · 02/07/2016 11:44

Just came on here to say SO TIRED.

Imavinoops · 02/07/2016 12:10

2ManySweets Feeling the same! Yawnn!

I have had a slight sicky feeling today although I could just be imagining things. My mood swings are hellish though! Poor DP is taking it pretty well I have to say.

Cloeycat · 02/07/2016 13:35

I've not been having any symptoms except cramping which is making me quite worried. No more tired then usual- I've always been exhausted at the end of the day!

Also I'm veggie and partner is trying to convince me to eat meat now but I'm not overly keen- do you guys think it's something I should consider?

Jjspoon · 02/07/2016 13:58

Cloey I don't think there's any reason you need to eat meat? As long as our getting lots of protein and iron from other sources as you definitely need it especially with all the extra blood you'll have. I have no symptoms at all either except that I'm permanently hungry lol. Apart from that I don't feel pregnant at all.

Dustycorners · 02/07/2016 14:39

Linda I'm so, so sorry. Please take care of yourself Flowers

Hello to all the joiners x

Cloey I'm veggie too and there's no need to eat meat if you don't want to, just try to eat protein and iron from elsewhere, as Jjspoon says. Having said that, my big dirty secret from my pregnancy with DS is that I ate about a billion McD cheeseburgers Blush. I absolutely craved them. I have told literally no one that in real life as I have been veggie for 20 years. I was like Phoebe from Friends!

Jodders · 02/07/2016 15:12

Urghhhhh sooooo sick. That.is.all

Happygojo86 · 02/07/2016 15:55

Hello! Tentative joiner here. Got a bfp today. I have a 10.5 month DD and I had a MMC before her. Still breastfeeding too so we will see how that goes! X

DaisyBank82 · 02/07/2016 16:36

Dusty that is hilarious! Now that you've said that I really fancy one too Blush.
I've just woken up from yet another afternoon nap. Still no nausea here but I think it's safe to say I'm much more tired than normal as I hardly ever sleep during the day and this is twice in two days. It doesn't help that I am waking up in the night to pee and also once I wake up first thing in the morning my mind starts racing with it all and boom I am wide awake. Today I woke up at 5.50am and DD didn't wake until 7.15am.

alphabook · 02/07/2016 16:54

Congrats happy!

Haha dusty that's hilarious. I also don't eat meat but if I start craving it I may have to ask DH to go veggie in my place like Phoebe and Joey!

I've been feeling really sick the last few days, so far I'm finding that peppermint tea is really helping.

Gardencentregroupie · 02/07/2016 19:27

Peppermint tea makes me feel nauseous at the best of times, I know I'm weird like that.

I think I didn't dip long enough this morning, I did a pm one which was good and clear :)

Sparrowlegs248 · 02/07/2016 19:34

I feel awful. Sick and exhausted. Ds has just gone to sleep and I'm considering joining him.

I bought some travel sickness wristbands and wore them earlier, seemed to really help but made my wrists sore. I took them off and left them at my friends. Doh! But worth investing if you are feeling rough.

NameChange30 · 02/07/2016 22:41

Dusty Love your McDonald's secret Grin

SuperDuperJezebel · 02/07/2016 23:20

Had a bit of spotting myself tonight... Pretty much the same point as last time. Not feeling particularly hopeful to be honest.

Dozygirl · 02/07/2016 23:26

Oh super thinking of you. Try to rest if u can for now

SuperDuperJezebel · 02/07/2016 23:48

Thanks... We are away for the weekend with friends and that's making it harder to relax. In bed now and think I'll try reading. I am kind of resigned to being slightly pessimistic because there's nothing I can do to stop it, but with the hope I might be pleasantly surprised after all. I hope that doesn't sound awful.

DaisyBank82 · 03/07/2016 08:00

How are things this morning, Super? I would feel exactly the same so doesn't sound awful to me. I think one really hard thing about being pregnant is that you spend loads of time thinking about how to avoid having a mc (don't drink coffee, don't drink booze, don't eat banned foods, get lots of rest) when in fact in the vast majority of cases, if you do have a mc, it's chromosonal and there is absolutely nothing you could have done/ do to prevent it. Now I am wondering if I sound awful but I think trying to relax is the right way to go - there's no point in stressing over it (probably easy for me to say).

Garden great news on the second bfp!

Sorry for everyone who is sick! And a bit jealous too, crazy as it sounds. Still feel a bit too normal.

neonrainbow · 03/07/2016 08:07

We told dsc yesterday... he just went "cool that will be good" with a big smile then asked to play on the computer. Bless!!

Happygojo86 · 03/07/2016 08:16

Hi super I totally understand what you mean. The first trimester is pretty much pre written from the moment that sperm meets egg, nothing we do or don't do with change anything. I strangely find some comfort in that.

Having said that. Spotting in early pregnancy 'although never considered normal is very common'. Just take one day at a time. The odds are in your favour and until anyone tells you otherwise... today you are pregnant!

Big hugs xxxx

alphabook · 03/07/2016 08:53

Great news Garden!

Fingers crossed for you Super. Spotting/bleeding can be really common, I really hope it's nothing x

gininteacupsandleavesonthelawn · 03/07/2016 08:59

Morning everyone! Sorry to hear some are worrying about spotting etc, really hope it all works out ok, it's such early days everything is a worry!

I'm feeling quite pregnant, bloated, hungry but can't decide what I want, sense of smell through the roof and sweet things taste v sweet, also exhausted- counting down to afternoon nap already. My mum and sister are coming over today, really going to struggle not to tell them.

SpanielLedWeaning · 03/07/2016 09:39

Good mor nine everyone. Can I come and join your club? Got my BFP a couple of days ago and due date is around 7th March.

Not many symptoms yet - just the ability to start crying at the drop of a hat! This will be dc2 for me and had a fairly easy pregnancy last time - although decided to do a massive house extension during last pregnancy so can't really remember much apart from bricks, dust, workmen and general chaos!

SuperDuperJezebel · 03/07/2016 10:29

Thanks all... Happygojo I agree completely. No more bleeding so far, so fingers crossed, but quite a lot of discomfort, like period pain. Not sure how I feel just yet. Congratulations on your BFP Spaniel!

NameChange30 · 03/07/2016 11:38

super Glad the spotting has stopped, hope you don't get any more x

neon Aw that's lovely, positive but no big deal - an ideal reaction I think!

I'm on holiday at the moment, trying to avoid cigarette smoke (no ban here and there are smokers everywhere!) and feeling a bit sad that I can't have cocktails, but I'm going to try and get some virgin cocktails... Wish me luck! Grin

alphabook · 03/07/2016 12:20

Congrats Spaniel!

Have a great holiday NameChange!
