Bumble, I have been taking cyclizine since week six because of the nausea and vomiting. It isn't a miracle cure, but I do feel more like I can function with it. I hope you can get something to help.

Lovely to hear good scan news nuttypops, tisilisa and chapman! Smile

I hope sickness improves for those still feeling rubbish! Yesterday was my first day in a while without actually being sick, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's on the way out.

readingrainbow I LOVE maternity jeans, best things ever! I wore them for ages after DTs were born as they were just so comfy... might need to invest in a new pair this time.

StubbleTurnips · 02/06/2016 15:06

Sickness is truly starting now.... I had to stop at every other services on the m6 today to be sick, extended my journey by over an hour. do you think dragons den would be interested in a mobile sick bucket???

Looseyloo411 · 02/06/2016 15:13

Bumbleclat- it helped with nausea not 100% but I did feel more human so worth trying! My friend had the same ones and she thought they were amazing... Can't remember the name though

Lovely scan photos :)

Survived my first day back in the office, but gave up at 4 after feeling very sick since lunch. I think I might need my GP to sign me onto reduced hours until the sickness disappears. Bugger of a commute back means not getting home until almost 7 :'( we need mobile sick buckets for the train as well as car!

SolomanDaisy · 02/06/2016 18:02

Nice to see so many people having good scans!

Last night as I was falling asleep I was women by a serious set of baby kicks! I've been feeling the odd one most days, but this was the first longer lasting really wriggle session. It's an amazing feeling, particularly as I haven't quite got used to the idea that there's someone growing in there.

Azure83 · 02/06/2016 18:15

soloman that is amazing! How far along are you? Is this your first? Sorry, I can't remember from previous posts. I'm 13+3 and definitely haven't felt anything kick-like, I thought it's still ages away.

barkingtreefrog · 02/06/2016 18:19

weechops I had a migraine on Sunday, and again on Tuesday, had to come home early from work. Okay today though. Fingers crossed it clears for you, I asked the consultant about it yesterday and she said the hormones are surging as the placenta take over so it can cause a change in symptoms.

Lovely scan pics! Here's mine from yesterday.

I had my first hormonal breakdown today! Went to M&S after work because none of my bras are comfortable anymore. After trying on what felt like hundreds and just feeling fat and uncomfortable, I asked the fitter in the changing rooms for advice and she said she was busy with another lady who had booked an appointment and I walked away and burst into tears!

Went to John Lewis and found some lovely ones straight away. Should have gone there first.....

Aw girls the scans are amazing aren't they!! I can't wait to see baby chapman again on Wednesday! Little wriggler was bouncing all over!

Barkin I am with you on that one I was in the car on the way home from tesco today and cried at a song cause it was lovley. God damn hormones haha xxx

excitedmummytob · 02/06/2016 18:45

Is anyone else feeling bleugh? Constantly full and lethargic and just wanting to sleep all day? I'm 13.3 and starting to think it's always gonna be this way. I've not eaten a proper meal in weeks...probably 8/9 weeks X

OrianaBanana · 02/06/2016 18:53

Yes excitedmummytob - constantly nauseous (though not actually sick), always tired, constantly hungry but can't eat more than a few mouthfuls, making proper food turns my stomach, always grouchy with DS, hormonal.. Sad still my scan is in only TWO DAYS now so I'm looking forward to that (terrified too).

I'm almost sure I felt a flump down there yesterday (I'm 12+1 and this is my second) but nothing since. Hopefully it wasn't wind and wishful thinking...

Bigfam · 02/06/2016 18:55

Lovely scans. I can't wait to feel my baby move, you're so lucky Solomon, its so amazing later in pregnancy you can actually see their hands & feet moving. Grin

Finally had the pizza I've been craving for a week, it was everything I always wanted & more!! Grin

StubbleTurnips · 02/06/2016 19:12

Barkin with you on the hormones, DH was sat at the dinner table last night like this Hmm Confused as I burst into tears over quiche Lorraine. It had too much ham in it, I didn't like it!

Thisisbonkers · 02/06/2016 19:37

southdowns I have sick bags everywhere Grin

Two days of feeling ok. Lots of little nibbles, ice cubes and coke. Here's hoping I'm on the way up at 13+4!

Thisisbonkers · 02/06/2016 19:38

I'm dreading feeling the baby move, let alone see it. It's WRONG having something growing in me! ShockGrin

becciandbump · 02/06/2016 19:40

So glad I'm not the only one feeling tearful cried again on the way home from work for no reason other than it was Thursday and I have to go to work tomorrow. :(

Thisisbonkers, when you see it, you're username will be completely appropriate to loudly declare what's happening to everyone Grin

becciandbump · 02/06/2016 19:43

Also got upset as I couldn't hear anything with the Doppler I bought although it does say on box for used 14-16 weeks and I'm only 11+5

OP posts:
romoca · 02/06/2016 19:44

Hiya mummies!! Had my 1st scan yesterday, wonderful to see bubba in there...... Makes it all very real now!!! Still ridiculously tired anyone else?? I'm just over 12 weeks xx

SolomanDaisy · 02/06/2016 19:51

Azure, I'm 13+6 and this is my second. I didn't feel anything until 20 weeks with the first one (I had an anterior placenta).

Becci, the midwife used the Doppler at my appointment at 11 something and said it was fifty fifty whether they'd find it. I think if midwives aren't confident of finding it at that stage, there's nothing to worry about!

SolomanDaisy · 02/06/2016 19:53

romoca, I'm nearly 14 weeks and the tiredness has only started to pass the last few days. I had a day without a nap!

SouthDownsSunshine · 02/06/2016 20:04

thisisbonkers I don't travel without super sized sandwich bags for this reason! We have a vomit bag in the car: bucket, muslin, bags, wet wipes! Oh the glamour.

I was freaked out by the thought of kicks with dd, but it's actually been the thing I missed most about the pregnancy. I've felt some movement which is lovely, but it's very intermittent. It's like baby is saying hello.

Bigfam · 02/06/2016 20:15

SolomanDaisy I had a nap free day today too. I'm not particularly tired now either, last week I'd of been in bed by now even though I'd nap for a good 1.5 hours during the day.
