I'm also wide awake even though I'm working a major event where I've been on my feet all day 8.40-17.30 for the last 2 days and I'm nackered! Long drive home tonight too after we finish, glad I've lift shared or I'll be sleeping in the car tonight!!

bumbleclat · 02/06/2016 05:35

Hello night owls!
Wide awake here too. Im off to Drs today to ask for something for nausea, having been in bed from 1pm onwards for 6 days due to nausea I need to at least try and get some help.
Has anyone else found nausea has subsided with tablets?

ermmm · 02/06/2016 06:08

Oh bumble . I've been in bed for most of the last two weeks due to nausea and sickness- maybe a call to gp /midwife in morn for me too...

bumbleclat · 02/06/2016 06:10

ermmm, its really no way to live is it?
I usually work and go to bed when I get home at 4/5 but it's half term and all Ive done is laid in bed feeling horrendous. The boredom is really getting me down.
I hope you find a solution too.
One bonus was that I wasn't actually woken by sickness last night.

OrianaBanana · 02/06/2016 07:01

Bigfam I've had three fillings recently while pregnant (yay). If you want them free they have to do temporary ones because they can't use the mercury ones. Then you have them replaced after you've given birth (but still while it's free). Or I could pay privately for the white ones, which I did (ouch). I still had the local she said it was fine. Toothache is horrible Flowers

weechops · 02/06/2016 07:23

morning all. i'm having a mini pity party for one Sad Onto day 2 of migraine and I'm too worried to take my cocodamol again so I'm trying to cope with paracetamol. And I'm also in pain with a huge varicose vein on my calf. Think I'll need to pop to the pharmacy and see if I can get a tubigrip or something. ouch!!

Bigfam · 02/06/2016 08:06

Thinking of you Steffi, reassuring that you've heard your baby's heartbeat though.

Bumble and ermmm, I'd definitely try and get some anti sickness meds if I were you.
Thanks OrianaBanana. Sending you Flowers weechops

I slept through! First time in weeks! Hoping I'll feel as well today as yesterday. Lots of small bits of food and ice cubes and coke.

You know these pregnancy notes you're supposed to have with you at all times, how with you are they? Should I have them to hand at work? Leave them in my car? They are currently on the sofa at home...

OrianaBanana · 02/06/2016 08:34

I have them at home but I'm thinking I should probably leave them in the car as that's usually near me.

Azure83 · 02/06/2016 09:20

bonkers I'm awaiting an asos delivery of a new very big bag and I will start carrying my notes with me. I take a train to work though, I'd definitely keep them in the car if I could.

It's my turn to start waking up in the middle of the night - The Night Pee Manager ?!

Bigfam · 02/06/2016 09:20

Coconut lattè just hit the spot, but I can feel it sloshing around in my stomach which is making me feel a bit sick I'll have to soak it up with half a loaf of bread
Mine are in the kitchen (notes)

I broke down and bought maternity jeans on eBay. Should get here next week, hoping they fit OK. Jeans are hit and miss at the best of times.

Looseyloo411 · 02/06/2016 10:21

11+2 here,
Symptoms are getting better... I'm so glad I'm not a constant sicky, moody, tired b**ch anymore, just half the time now Wink

We have a secret Facebook group for our 2013 babies, might be worth it for here soon too! Makes keeping up so much easier.

Hope all the ladies feeling crap start to feel better soon!

My scans next Wednesday, thinking of booking a 16 week to announce to the kids too as they don't know yet and I can hopefully find out sex then

Did have a bigger bump (bloatWink) but it seems to have gone down a bit now so just look fat again Cake

Looseyloo411 · 02/06/2016 10:23

Thisisbonkers- I just keep mine at home, no way am I carrying them about Shock

Looseyloo411 · 02/06/2016 10:26

Also I had two sets of nausea pills, ones you put under your tongue, they were okish but made your mouth numb for ages so couldn't taste anything anyway and then ones you just swallowed, much preferred them. Wasn't a miracle still felt pretty rough but did help

bumbleclat · 02/06/2016 11:03

Looseyloo411 thanks, did they help a little with the nausea or was it the sickness? I weirdly don't mind being sick in comparison to being nauseous at least with puking you get some kind of relief afterwards.

DartmoorDoughnut · 02/06/2016 11:15

Scan was all good, due date still 11/12, only one wriggly baby on board, yay! Celebrating with chocolate cake and a coffee in the sunshine at JL cafe without the toddler as he's still with my ILs, bliss!

NotAClue82 · 02/06/2016 11:41

Thinking of you Steffi, hope the scan went well!

tisilisa · 02/06/2016 12:32

Successful scan this morning!! Have a wiggly baby still in team yellow but all measurements good and healthy 😆😆 due date still 11/12 so we're with you dartmoor

It all seems so real now that we've heard the heartbeat and seen bubba wiggling around. I'm officially excited now 😝😘😝

Sorry 23/12/16 Ffs I'm so tired haha

Nuttypops · 02/06/2016 14:54

Scan today, dated 13+4 so due date sticking at 4th Dec. Lovely to see these scans popping up now. It feels much more real!
We also had a Facebook group set up for due date buddies when I had my daughter, I find it much easier to keep track of than here but know not everyone likes to use it.

Nuttypops · 02/06/2016 14:55

Bumble, I have been taking cyclizine since week six because of the nausea and vomiting. It isn't a miracle cure, but I do feel more like I can function with it. I hope you can get something to help.
