Hi all, just place marking. Iv got my scan tomorrow at 13+0. Iv heard heartbeat so I know it's ok in there but Just hoping everything looks ok, NT etc.

So sorry watermelon. Sending love.

X

duxb · 01/06/2016 07:48

Place marking or I'll never find you again!

All the best for those with scans the next few days and watermelon so sorry for your loss. I hope you have a great support network in the real world. It's a huge blow both mentally and physically so take all the time you feel you need.

14 + 4 today and it's really starting to fly, consultant on Friday, duo bloods on the 11/6 and then 20 week scan 11/7. Feels rather odd not "feeling" pregnant and looking forwards to proper bump so it can feel real again!

becciandbump · 01/06/2016 07:58

Not a great nights sleep last night and my decaff coffee isn't really cutting it this morning x

13+1 today! When I was going to sleep last night I had some pains in my lower back and tummy, it didn't feel like cramps but more like twinges. I'm hoping it was just uterus stretching and pressing on a nerve or something, no bleeding! I actually have an obstetric appt this morning though so will mention it then! Anybody else experienced pains?

Eskerina81 · 01/06/2016 08:34

Checking in on the new thread.

Good luck to everyone having scans this week and sending love to everyone it's not going well for.

Electra I started feeling what I think is movement last week (~12 weeks). With dd though I didn't feel anything until ~15/16 weeks.

dreaming I get twinges too, especially if I turn over quickly.

fiddlesticks123 · 01/06/2016 09:23

Just checking in!

Good luck to all those with upcoming scans, I'm 13+4 today - work know and we're well on with telling friends now too, exciting!!

Really looking forward to the second trimester - when is having a bump normal?! I'm feeling like I've definitely already got one but this is my first baby and I have always been apple shaped so whilst according to Ovia baby fiddlesticks is 24g and about 7.5cm long, I feel like my bump is a bit more significant than that Grin

LittleBear01 · 01/06/2016 09:30

I think I'm quite bumpy too Fiddlesticks (I'm 13+1). I'm a size 8 normally and only 5ft2 so thinking the baby doesn't really have anywhere to go but outwards if that makes sense?!

NurseRosie · 01/06/2016 09:40

Morning guys. Today I'm 13+2, and I def think I'm sporting a nice bump but those close keep telling me I look no different, I have a little belly fat anyway. Still feeling rubbish and have nausea, hoping it will pass soon.

Having a break away this week, we are in Wales, it's lovely, really needed some time off work.

Hope everyone is well x

Hannahcarp27 · 01/06/2016 09:54

Becci I also slept like crap. Had the worst trapped wind all night. Oh the joys!!!

bumbleclat · 01/06/2016 10:01

babydreaming I too have been getting these twinges when I turn over at night so have been trying to stay still, I've read that it's normal.

I've been spotting on and off but hospital told me not to worry unless it was a lot of blood so I'm managing to stay calm, plus the horrible nausea, fatigue and sore boobs are quite shit reassuring too.

Becci and Hannahcarp I too didn't sleep well last night and was woken not only to puke but also with really weird diarrhoea which was accompanied but acidic stomach and aching limbs, I think yesterday and last night were my worst this pregnancy I know it sounds cray but I think Id rather give birth than feel so constantly nauseous but I know there's probably no comparison.

I have literally turned down about 20 different invitations since the start of this (11 week) pregnancy I feel like Im fading into the background of people's lives, I can't wait to feel better and tell everyone why I've been so off the radar for so long.

Helgathehairy · 01/06/2016 10:05

Checking in

I had my early scan at 8 weeks and all was good but don't know when my next on is and getting impatient and nervous again now.

fiddlesticks123 · 01/06/2016 10:05

LittleBear that is a really lovely and neat bump!! As you say quite pronounced but the only option is out Smile hope mine follows suit soon!

NotAClue82 · 01/06/2016 10:13

Cute bump LittleBear! I've got a little bump too despite not having gained any weight yet... Once this nausea finally passes I look forward to stuffing my face and piling on the pounds!Grin

I have another scan in two weeks time to see how my twins are doing. Time seems be going slower than ever...

Mrsthedog · 01/06/2016 10:31

Hi Lovewatchingrainfall - welcome!

So sorry to hear your news, Watermelon. Flowers

14 weeks today and convinced I can feel the little bugger - surely it's not possible this early?

ElodieS · 01/06/2016 10:31

Lovely bump littlebear. It took me forever to lose weight after DTs so I'm quite keen not to get too big too quickly, but jeans etc are starting to feel a little snug already... very likely due to bloating rather than baby though.

Very best of luck to all those with scans coming up in the next few days, hopefully they'll put some minds at rest.

This week's a bit of a mad one in our house with the bank holiday, then scan and "working from home" with DTs running about yesterday. Dropped DTs off with DMil this morning so got to work late and with all the rushing about I keep forgetting to eat and so feeling really nauseous and horrid. I haven't told work yet as my manager is on leave but I'm sure colleagues are guessing.

Babydreaming · 01/06/2016 10:32

cute bump! I'm still waiting for mine...i've put on half a stone but i just look a bit bloated unfortunately! I am looking forward to having a baby bump instead of just looking like I ate too many chips (which is the reality really!)

puppythedog · 01/06/2016 10:43

Just marking my spot :-) 14 weeks today and we are lying in bed in our holiday cottage. Ou DD is downstairs with Mil and Fil. Our day to rest. Do wish they would F off for the day though so we can go downstairs and eat without confusing DD.
For those with anxiety can I offer some advice; fill your time with other things as much as possible. As tough a as that is trying to not think of something does not work.
Practicing natal hypnotherapy might help too.

TinySalmon · 01/06/2016 10:44

Aww littlebear so cute!

Here is my little bump, I'm 11+1 today. Not really visible under clothes yet but I'm dyingggg to have one like beautiful becci and bear. I was taking to my mum about when she started to show and she said she all of sudden popped out overnight around 16 weeks.

Come on baby, show yourself!!!!

Mejse · 01/06/2016 10:50

Hi all
Only one more assignment hand in and an oral exam to go and I can relax for the summer Grin. From what I have heard it seems like all my time off will be over the easier part of pregnancy.

Love seeing all of the scan pictures! I still have so long to go for mine! Its on the 20th of June I will be 13+4 by then, it seems like forever away. It will be my first scan and I'm a bit anxious about the possibility of bad news so I thought it is best to wait til my exams are over.

Glad I'm not the only one getting a belly already. DH's cousin actually caught me out at a family event a few weeks back, and I thought I had done really well to hide it. I think its mostly just bloating still for now.

The nausea is wearing off quite a bit and now I am just hungry all the time!! I have booked a flight over to England for July and I am already making a list of all the food I need to eat while I am there, I can't get a lot of the foods that I am craving here Sad

Bella1985 · 01/06/2016 11:04

Marking my place. I'm 10+3 and I've booked an early reassurance scan for friday as it feels like such a long wait for my scan. Booking in app isn't until 11+4 so nhs scan probably won't be until 13 or 14 weeks! Nausea has almost completely gone. Belly is definately rounder. I can't seem to suck it in as well as I used to (i'm podgy anyway!) Smile

Bigfam · 01/06/2016 11:16

I might brave a bump picture later Wink
This is my 5th baby though so my bump is definitely just my chubby belly quite visible!!

Azure83 · 01/06/2016 11:20

I had a lovely scan yesterday, all looking good althought the baby was not cooperating when it came to measuring the nuchal fold. My dates have been moved forward by a whopping six days so my new official EDD is 5th of Dec.

December 2016 babies... 2nd trimester in sight
Firsttimer16 · 01/06/2016 11:24

Just checking in too. Scan not for another week and a half, but booked a reassurance scan next Monday as I still have no symptoms apart from lack of periods so very nervous and can't wait that long! All my wine money will be going on scans I can tell...! This waiting around and not knowing is far worse than I ever imagined!!!

ElodieS · 01/06/2016 11:55

Lovely scan picture Azure and glad to hear it went well.

The waiting can be very frustrating firsttimer, but it'll start to go more quickly once you're out of the first trimester. I was willing the second trimester to slow down last time.

I'm not brave enough to post a proper belly shot but might manage one with clothes on... I'd love to blame all the extra flab on DTs but it's probably the Cake.
