Thanks lovewatching will pop there and have a look. No harm in trying a few on and puffing out my stomach to see if it fills out a bit.

Having said that I just spoke to my mum who was much skinner than me when she was preg with me, but she said she had a football stuck to her front by 18 weeks so the maternity dresses may be the best bet!

Have just seen a trending thread about another ladies wedding dress options and there's loads of good links on there...

TinySalmon · 12/06/2016 21:39

Bristol what's your budget? Seraphine do beautiful maternity wear that doesn't look like maternity wear!

They do dresses for special occasions too - Here is a link: m.seraphine.com/luxe-collection/designer-maternity-dresses.html

A little pricey with dresses around £130+ but stunning pieces to suit any bump size. There's a store near wear I live and I went a bit nuts on clothes but they're so nice I'll wear them even when I'm not pg! xx

Thanks tinysalmon

Was looking up to £80 I reckon . There are some beautiful ones on there though, I may order a few to get an idea on fit/ sizes and then have a look on eBay :)

FluffyPickleMonster · 12/06/2016 23:30

bristol have you looked at Tiffany Rose? They do gorgeous occasion dresses, a little pricey but look fab. www.tiffanyrose.com

Hi! I was on one of the earlier threads but due to emigrating haven't posted for a while. I've been having a bit of a dramatic time with three big bleeds in the last few weeks but scans show baby growing fine. My official 12 week scan is tomorrow and because of child care problems I need to take dc1 and 2 so fingers crossed everything will be ok.

Peanut2904 · 13/06/2016 08:24

Loosey I have also PM'd you Grin
Thanks

flyawayblue · 13/06/2016 08:51

How are others coping with sickness and tiredness? I was off work on Friday but back in today and already ready to go home.

Brisgirl · 13/06/2016 09:17

Hi loosey I've PMed you about FB too. I have a group of March '15 mummies and they really are a wonderful supportive community of friends and FB is so much easier as we found MN tended to fizzle out after a bit. For anyone worried, it's totally 100% secret and no one on my RL FB knows the group exists or can see posts or anything like that. We're not making a FB announcement either and most people don't know about this baby but really not worried.

ElodieS · 13/06/2016 09:32

Hi all,

Hope you're all doing well. Lovely to see more happy scan news. I'll give the Facebook group a miss thanks, I've never really got into Facebook somehow.

I'm feeling totally shattered and a bit sorry for myself this morning. DT1 and I are very ready to get out of hospital and I'm dying for some down time at home.

Looseyloo411 · 13/06/2016 10:39

I have messaged everyone back xx

Thisisbonkers · 13/06/2016 10:43

I have a banging headache and feel sick again today Sad doesn't help that I'm dog tired.

Littlejenfer · 13/06/2016 10:46

Hello!
Late to the party, but is there room for one more?
Had my 12 week scan last week, turns out I'm 14 weeks along! Due date is 13th December (aka my own birthday...).
xxx

Jfw82 · 13/06/2016 11:11

barkingtreefrog · 13/06/2016 11:22

fly and bonkers I called in sick today. Managed to not miss a single day whilst feeling hideous all through the early weeks, but went to bed with a migraine (again) last night. Felt so ill DH had to help me to bed, get my injection for me and find me some paracetamol. Woke up this morning still with a headache and all glands swollen, just generally feeling really shit. Couldn't face driving and booted up the laptop but was feeling sick and the screen hurt my eyes so not even attempting to work from home. Have managed to sleep pretty much from 8 until now, over 3 hours, so I'm glad I stayed off.

bumbleclat · 13/06/2016 13:08

Finally, Ive had my scan EDD 21st December so I'm 12+5 baby was cute, stretching and waving arms but the ultrasound was much more blurry than I expected. I feel a bit disappointed with the photo, maybe the 20 week one will be more clear.

We're telling DSD (aged 9) tonight then we'll tell friends etc.

I'm also going to tell my mum who's fighting Leukaemia at the moment, I hope it cheers her up, everything feels almost dream like at the moment.

barkingtree sounds like you've Definitely done the right thing taking the day off sounds like you need a full week off tbh, I hope there's plenty of drinks and nibbles by your bedside take care..

lilydaisyrose · 13/06/2016 15:06

Please don't all disappear to FB ladies! I don't have FB. Please remember to post here too!

Eskerina81 · 13/06/2016 15:24

Does anyone have any tips on how to stop a toddler jumping/climbing on you & your bump? It's making me feel quite queasy but I feel bad telling her she can't sit in her favourite spot. She's only 2 so a bit young to understand about mummy having a baby in her tummy.

billabye · 13/06/2016 15:43

Eskerina I feel your pain, my 2 yo DD also thinks I'm a beanbag and its getting uncomfortable!

Lovewatchingrainfall · 13/06/2016 15:45

I'm not going over to FB I hardly use it anymore.

I am a bit confused I have received an appointment with a consultant for when I'm 25weeks which seems a long way off. Is this standard? I was consultant led last time due to major health problems with baby. Don't know if this is a reason.

I am so tired I have lost all energy and having a toddler on the go from 4:30-5am every morning till 7pm is really starting to take its toll.
Just feeling a bit sorry for myself I think.

AppleMagic · 13/06/2016 16:24

I think if you were consultant led previously they'll always get you in just to check.

I've been telling the DC that I have a sore tummy but they aren't being very sympathetic. It's got to the point where I just avoid sitting down!

DartmoorDoughnut · 13/06/2016 16:28

I've had to dig into the maternity clothes due to shovelling ALL THE FOOD down my throat Grin

bumbleclat · 13/06/2016 17:49

Omg we've just told everyone what a bloody relief!! I hate sitting on secrets!!

weechops · 13/06/2016 18:45

bumble bet you feel like a weights been lifted! My dh gets home Wednesday and I can't wait to be able to tell the kids and everyone else! I've told my friends already.

Bigfam · 13/06/2016 19:48

weechops, just curious, how have you managed to hide feeling ill/ being sick around your other DC? Do you just tell them 'mummy's not feeling well?'

Babydreaming · 13/06/2016 19:51

I'll be joining fbook too, I'll pm you when I'm on my computer loosely. I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and feel like I've lost all my symptoms. It's quite an awkward time as 12 week scan feels like ages ago (3 weeks) and not feeling movements. I borrowed a friends Doppler and the hb is still strong...but still really low in the pelvis! I know I should be happy I'm not feeling nauseated anymore but I kind of miss that reminder that I'm sill pregnant! Anyone else feel that way? I'm also not showing much at all yet. My friend took a pic of our bellies yesterday and she genuinely looked more pregnant than me! (She's def not). Can't wait til I show/feel movements. Anyone else feeling slightly anxious about it when getting into 2nd T?
