Wowee, what an exciting day all 'round! Very happy to see all the lovely scan pics and that you're all doing well. Smile

TinySalmon · 07/06/2016 16:53

Yay for the beautiful and healthy scans!

12+0 here and still vomiting. Anyone else??

lovewatchingrainfall · 07/06/2016 17:34

So one happy healthy scan. Now been put forward to 13weeks so EDD is13th December.

Still feeling sick but she said that should slow down now.

Hope everyone is okay and loved seeing the scans.

Looseyloo411 · 07/06/2016 17:52

Mine had passed but nope it's back and I'm Still feeling sick here she says with dominos on the way

Couldn't be bothered to cook Blush
Scan tomorrow at 2pm, whilst I wrote this dd has fallen asleep on my lap... Nooooo! It's too early!

pacificlass · 07/06/2016 18:06

Congrats on all the scans. I have my 12 week one tomorrow. Anyone else had to repeat the NIPT blood test (I think it's the same as Harmony- looks at chromosome abnormalities). Apparently mine has come back with "low fetal fraction" so I wonder if my dating scan was wrong and it was too early.

Grapefruit8 · 07/06/2016 18:35

Loving all the scan pics! Little jealous I have to wait til Thursday for mine Still feeling sick here but not really vomiting just crazy nausea/hunger that kicks off around 5pm and persists until bedtime. The lady asking about thyroid pm me if you like, I have a thyroid condition and have already been in to see consultant so will try answer any questions you have. Plus I am a pharmacist so that helps as well Flowers

mistletoe1 · 07/06/2016 18:37

I've got my first scan on Thursday - nervously excited. I've started to feel a lot better now and whilst that makes me a bit nervous (too early?) I am pretty happy to be able to get through the day without crashing out.

So so lovely to see all of your pictures!

firawla · 07/06/2016 18:39

tinysalmon yes still vomiting! And I was fine in the earlier weeks but it just started around 10-11 weeks and now still feel awful at 12+4. I tried those anti nausea acu pressure bands the last couple of days, but seemed pretty useless

Azure83 · 07/06/2016 18:39

pacific we're waiting for our Harmony results, had the blood test on Friday. Had to read up on what a low fetal fraction is! Sounds like it could be a bit early. My friend had to try twice before they got enough baby DNA.

bumbleclat · 07/06/2016 18:45

Lovely scans everyone Im so Excited about my scan on Monday and telling people :) .

firawla Ive been really bad from week ten now nearly at week 12 bt Drs prescribed promethazine and it's worked wonders of the nausea, I was even able to go food shopping tonight and buy actual grown up food!

Nurserosie My mum had preeclampsia so Im automatically seen as high risk Confused so I have an appt with various consultants throughout, I wouldn't worry too much, private patients pay through the nose for consultant led care so maybe we're the lucky ones Wink

NurseRosie · 07/06/2016 19:05

Lovely scans today girls.

Thanks for the reply about the consultant appointment. I rang them and they said it's at the request of the consultant but might be because I needed an early scan and my poor thyroid function. My Mum said she's not surprised they've called me before 24 weeks. Not worrying about it anymore. Thanks for the advice x

englishgirl · 07/06/2016 19:07

So lovely to see everyone's beautiful scan pictures!

Nojo we are definitely going to find out what we are having, I can't wait that long! What about you?

Nuttypops · 07/06/2016 19:10

Rosie, I am consultant led as well due to something with my precious pregnancy and birth. My first appointment with them is 20 weeks, but I was told it could be between 16-20 weeks so it may just be that they have called you in the earlier part of the timescale.

Angshore · 07/06/2016 19:48

Our scan went well today, due date is the 19th December! Baby was being a bit of a tinker, she had me in all sorts of positions, I even did some start jumps!! Got there in the end! Now the nervous wait for the screening results! Hope every one else's went well! XSmile

FluffyPickleMonster · 07/06/2016 19:50

Lovely scans, so good to see lots of good news on here. My scan is on Friday, eeeek!

Insertwitticismhere · 07/06/2016 19:53

Been a tough day at work but commute home made much cheerier by all these lovely scan pics. A real bumper crop today! Congrats all.

TipBoov · 07/06/2016 20:13

I'm consultant led too, because it's an IVF pregnancy and I may request an elective c-section.

I saw the consultant at the 12week scan, and I have another appointment at the 20 week scan.

becciandbump · 07/06/2016 21:21

kitkat next time you update the list can u amend my due date to 15 December it's only moved by a day forward but was pleased as it means eating my Christmas dinner at home is more likely

Another question from Dunce Corner!

Would you buy a second hand car seat/travel system if you knew the person selling and that it definitely hadn't been in an accident or anything bad happening to it? I know it's not meant to be the done thing but this is an immaculate grandparents edition!

Chookchick · 07/06/2016 21:47

First scan for me today too. Due date now 10th Dec, if you please update the list KitKat. I'd managed to keep calm but I'm elated now. I still can't believe that we are so lucky to have a healthy little person living inside me!
Lovely to see so many scans today. Fingers crossed for the rest of you lovely ladies having scans this week

DartmoorDoughnut · 07/06/2016 21:51

If I knew the exact history then yes I would bonkers as an add on I also would recommend the sirona as a long lasting car seat, ridiculously expensive but the swivel bit is fab for getting them in when they're bigger and it faces backwards until they're 3/4 I think. DS always falls asleep in it too which is great!

TinySalmon · 07/06/2016 21:52

thisisbonkers I read in one of my baby books that buying a car seat is the one thing you should try to buy new as safety standards are constantly evolving and the hospital won't let you leave with baby if the car seat isn't up to current guidelines/standards xx

Nojo82 · 07/06/2016 22:27

englishgirl yes we are definitely are finding out this time around. Have 3 boys already and never found out with them.

barkingtreefrog · 08/06/2016 05:56

Grr. Had two days of sleeping until 6 and thought the insomnia was over, but wide awake at 4.30am this morning. At least I've found a hotel for the last two nights of our holiday!

I'm under consultant led care as well due to ivf +3 miscarriages, saw her after the 12 w scan and she said she'd see us again at the 20w scan, but I got an appointment letter through this week and the date is two days before the date we were given for the scan?! Haven't had a letter confirming the scan time yet (they just gave us a date when we went in for the 12w), so ned to call and see what's happening.

Is anyone else getting bad cramp? Every time I've been swimming since being pg I've got really bad cramp. Really vivid crazy dreams at the moment as well, and still getting bad headaches.

Lovely to see all these 12w scans now! Still not sure I'm going to make it through to 20w, might need to book another private one.....
