Possibly.

gee... cute bump Mossy!!

mine at 33 weeks

Booboobedoo · 17/01/2007 19:24

Kiwi and mossy: both your bumps are much neater than mine. Mine's all sort of, well, lumpy.

Will get DH to take a pic on his phone, and post it later.

KITTY I NEED THE CURE PLEASE!!!!

love the bump picture, very arty and 'neat' looking! Moss your bump is of a kin to mine, massive!! but very wonderful though! (just uploaded my pic, click on my name to see!) Rosylily its easy enough to do , just click on your own name then follow the instructions by creating a profile then uploading your pic!

BTW who is my birth buddy? 9th ... sure there were a cpl of us at least!

right off for my lasagne....yummmm!

sexkittyinwaiting · 17/01/2007 20:04

What Jay, a cure that gives you a smaller bump? Well what I do is get up at 6.30 manage variations of children and their mates then sit down finally at about 9.30 pm having had no rest in between and not having sat down really either!!! Could be be the way to go.
I've told dp that I need to do some serious bump growing and he's quite happy with that. TBH I don't think my bump is small at all. I think it's pretty low slung, but that's probably got something to do with all the previous babies having stretched my belly so that this baby now sinks down .
Perhaps I'll take a photo and you can all say.

DollyPopsOut · 17/01/2007 20:08

Hello everyone

Just quick one from me as I am knackered and can barely keep awake.

First of all, massive congratulations to Callie and Jon (? have I made that up - apologies if so) on Jordi's birth. You are a true star for posting as well as looking after Jordi and all the expressing. Hang on in there. Hope you are feeling OK in yourself, Callie, and are getting well looked after .

Kitty - I measured huge with DD1 and St Thomas's were obsessed with fungal height. No one has bothered measuring me this pg. I don't think it is very accurate anyway, but the neurotic American book by my bed ("what to expect if you are pregnant (and want to worry yourself silly for 10 months)") says 2cm out either way is fine. So don't worry, but eat more cake as a precaution.

I am loving some of these names. My BIL is Tobias and he is fabulous. Great name. I love Morag and have a great friend called Morag, but it is the name of DD's rabbit so sort of out for our family.

Am trying to look at the bump pictures but my computer won't open them. I am huge, and the harry potter stretch mark is coming back. I'll try to get a picture up there soon.

XXXX

no internet at work, Some idiots digging up the road cut all our cables! feel as if my limb has been cut off!

Nice bumps ladies... wish mine looked so... nice! My bump is sitting high, then i have a ridge where my waist is.. then what DH describes as my lower belly! LOL so I've got like.. 2 bumps!

Callie - are you using an electric pump?

Nice names people are thinkng of. Love Tobias Lunar.. but what if it is a girl? or have you actually found out. Can't remember now.

3-4 toilet trips is now norm, I feel so guilty using shed loads of loo roll!

Have 34 wk eek consultant appointment tomorrow, trying my best to stay calm and relax, but I cna't help being worried about my BP... hope it behaves.. was gonna walk to the hospital, but may drive in order not to push it up more than it may already be! if that makes sense..

also curious as to my fungus height, and how thats getting on!

THEN after that.. my Mum is taking me curtain shopping! Oh Joy! LOL

divastrop · 17/01/2007 20:50

finally caught up after running up and down to dd2 who is teething and has a sore throat.oh,and a cough.i can feel a cold coming on but i dont have time to be ill(as i'm not a man)so i shall just have to ignore it.

kitty-i was measuring 2-3 weeks bigger when expecting dd2,right from week 28.the growth scans were normal so the mw said it was probably cos my womb was over stretched from having so many babies
that would really explain why my fungal measurements have been bang on this time.
dd2 was 6lb13oz-so personally i think the measurements are a load of old balls.

moss-i htink my nearest primark would be preston, unless they have one in lancaster which i doubt.there isnt even a mothercare in this town which is ridiculous as the no.1 passtime of most of the women here is pro-creating.

will have a nosey at bump pics now.

kiwibella · 17/01/2007 21:07

Kitty's cure was...

"She told me to rest, eat and grow the baby. I went and got a box of fresh cream cakes from Tescos"

have you forgotten already Kitty???

divastrop · 17/01/2007 21:16

i'm pmsl at the idea of resting when you have 5 children

maybe if they'd all grown up and left home you could.nah, they'd still be ringing you every time you got in the bath/sat on the loo.

moss-i dont think your bump is that big.i was bigger with dd2 at this stage.mind you-i got the twins comments as well.

eidsvold · 17/01/2007 21:19

Yankee - is your husband a chelsea fan - Eidur could be for Eidur Gudjohnsen.... ex chelsea striker.

Booboobedoo · 17/01/2007 21:31

Posted my photo now! Made DH take it three times to make sure my excess back-fat didn't show.

OP posts:
eidsvold · 17/01/2007 21:50

my bump at nearly 30 weeks looks huge - don't dare try and photograph it although I did take some pics the day before I had dd2 so perhaps I will do it with this one just to compare.

Jaysecond · 17/01/2007 21:50

DOH, meant to ask KIWI not KITTY, for cure of colds...lol how things go pete tong when you dont explain yourself on message boards!!!!

Just had very hot bath to try and steam it out of me.....just made me feel faint, so having some horlicks and going to bed! Hopefully to have a goodnights sleep!

Jaysecond · 17/01/2007 21:51

BTW nice bumps everyone, but why am i the only one showing my face........???

Jaysecond · 17/01/2007 21:56

OH GOD i see what you meant kiwi about KITTY having the cure, god i am so dense, that bath was sooo tooo hot!! DOH DOH DOH

sexkittyinwaiting · 17/01/2007 22:01

Ah THAT cure I can't seem to upload pics from my mac, bloody annoying. I wanted you all to have a look at bump. I'm going to try doing it via member profiles

3rdTriMossTer · 18/01/2007 06:32

Morning all,

Now the photos have disappeared! Unless I'm just being dense, which is possible!!!!

Will catch up properly when I'm back in work. I've lost count today, am I on 31 working days or 32 to go?

I'll have to have a look at the calendar.

Finished my last seed muffin this morning so I'll have to get some kind of cake for tomorrow's breakfast otherwise I'll only have toast and that's not enough for a growing gal and her bump now is it?

LunarSea · 18/01/2007 07:00

Just toast for me Moss - since my bump is apparently getting too big. If you've got that chart thing in your notes it's above the 90% line by as much again as the 90% is above the 50% - or about 3 weeks ahead of where it should be

sexkittyinwaiting · 18/01/2007 07:13

cake , cake and more cake for me I've been doing my "grow, baby, grow" positive thinking and I do feel 'fuller' with baby. He also feels higher up this morning than yesterday. You know it wouldn't surprise me if he was just sunk right down when she measured me yesterday. Still, better sit and relax and eat cake just to be on the safe side.
Mossy, I'll email you my bump picture 'cos my stupid computer isn't letting me do it on here. The tech team at MN are supposed to be getting in contact soon. Hopefully they can sort it.

Piffle · 18/01/2007 08:35

This fundal height thing
I measured 31 wks at 29 and baby showed up as nearly 31 wks on the scan
nobody batted an eyelid
Am back for 32 wks scan next Tuesday
I've never measured over for dates ever always under...

Rosylily · 18/01/2007 08:43

Yes I have been trying and not managing to post a piccy yet. And all the pictures are gone so maybe it's all a technicality at mn end and I'm not as useless as I think...(she says hopefully)

Dh thinks its ridiculous, he doesn't want to look at anyones bump and he's also adamant I don't put pictures with the children in. And he won't discuss names boring fart!

Last night he was glued to big brother though enjoying the fighting! I can't be bothered watching it. I can't even concentrate on big brother! That must be bad, my brain has dissolved into soup.

7 weeks 3 days to go. (boy)

Leoladyofleisure · 18/01/2007 08:58

I also can't see the pictures, I did see Moss's and Kiwi's. I have to say both are tiny compared to mine.
I will try to post mine up now - with face included Jay!

Appointment iwth consultant today, am I the only one that gets really nervous before these appointments?

foxabout2pop · 18/01/2007 08:59

Hiya play mates

Jay - I like the name Trent - you could always do a Beckham and say he was "conceived on the River Trent"

Rosy: "I find it really hard to express anything" - do you mean expressing milk or expressing yourself as person? . BTW I'm a computer thicko too

Eids - thanks for looking at those names again. Miki is sweet but remonds me of Micky Dolenze in The Monkeys - anyone old enough to remember them. I didn't like Mickey - but did rather like that LO - Dave?

What are you sending your friends in the UK? When we were kids our uncle in Australia used to send loads of Aboriginal stuff and I'm sure that's why I married an Aboriginal man when I grew up LOL

Mossy - really like Morag its a good Irish girls name

Kitty - Eating fish is supposed to result in bigger babies - lots of reseach has shown this. How about a compromise - Fish Cakes ?

Bethoo - I love Loki its a really nice name

Leo - LOL at the vision of you and DH at that class!!!! My Dh would be so embarassed to attend one of those classes, he's not a new man at all

Boo - Your job sounds fun. Do you teach musical instruments as well as singing?

foxabout2pop · 18/01/2007 08:59

ps I can't see piccies either...

Leoladyofleisure · 18/01/2007 09:06

OK, it didn't work. got to eat now.... will try again later!
