Hello,

So couldn't see a January baby post (probably because no one is mad enough to POAS as early as me!)

Anyway, I thought I would start one (waves). I am 28, this will be DC#2 making my 4 year old DS a big brother which he has been so excited about becoming (we haven't told him yet though as very early days!) I am roughly around 4 weeks and we're not planning on telling anyone for ages so thought I would start a thread so I have someone to get excited with!

Please come and say hello! Xx

Great news Stealth!

sueevone · 14/06/2016 20:21

Really happy for you stealth Smile

Parney · 14/06/2016 21:12

Wow! Surely you're the 1st of us to know Stealth? Super news. Sorry if I've missed someone else who knows!

stealthbanana · 14/06/2016 22:53

Thank you! Yes I'm guessing I'm first - I'm only 11+3. Feels like a big milestone!

Parney · 15/06/2016 06:22

I'm a day behind you Stealth and would love to know! 11+3 today! DH really wants to wait.

LucySB123 · 15/06/2016 08:05

Good morning. My symptoms seem to have abated. No more sore boobs, bloating or constipation, just a bit of nausea. I'm thankful but it's getting me worried that it may be because all is not well Confused. Anyway I'm surrounding myself with all things pregnancy related. I have 2 pregnancy apps on my phone, reading about coping with two and browsing clothes for DC2 (DD1 is a summer baby and this will be a winter baby so new wardrobe thank you v much).
Really looking forward to my scan next week and fingers crossed everything's all right. Let us know how you get on magpie sueevone

Bella1985 · 15/06/2016 08:56

Congrats stealth - very exciting! lucy my nausea and sore boobs has dissappeared since week 9, had a private reassurance scan at 10+5 as I was worried about it, and baby was there waving away with a nice strong heartbeat! When I told the sonographer I was there because lack of nausea etc she shrugged and said she didn't have any nausea at all with her daughter and to relanx and enjoy feeling better!! (That sounds harsh but she said it in a nice way!!) I'm 12+3 now, scan next week so hoping everything is still good! 🙂

Emz32 · 15/06/2016 15:38

Congratulations on all the good news. Been trying to catch up on scan news from everyone. Iv got my nhs scan on 21st and harmony results & scan on 23rd. 12 weeks today although they did put me back 1 week at the 10 week scan so really only 11 weeks. We are on our summer holiday in Cornwall this week, trying to relax as much as possible with a 2 yr old in tow. After much discussion Iv overruled DH and we aren't finding out the gender. We had a surprise last time & id rather a surprise this time. Has anyone told family & friends?

Dueindecember2016 · 15/06/2016 19:30

Hi everyone. I'm due on 23rd December!! Super excited! Next scan is in August! Anyone else the same date as me?

Bella1985 · 15/06/2016 21:24

Hi dueindecember! Currently have a DD of 25th december but dating scan is next week so will update you if it changes! Smile

LucySB123 · 15/06/2016 21:51

We are also not finding out the gender. And we have not told a soul either (although my cleaner probably knows because of bounty packs and pregnacare in the house). I have my dating scan next week. with DD1 we told family & close friends after the dating scan but this time round I feel like keeping it a secret for longer. It seems unreal as we were ttc more than a year. My parents will be coming in from abroad when I'm 18wks we may just leave it for them to guess whthr I've become fat or am pregnant Grin

MagpieCursedTea · 16/06/2016 10:07

I'm due 24th December according to my midwife (based on LMP) but I reckon it'll be a couple of weeks later than that.
I've got my scan in just over an hour. Feeling very nervous!

Emz32 · 16/06/2016 10:31

Good luck Magpie. Iv been really poorly so when we had the scan at 10 weeks I told close friends & family. It's been lovely having the support & a relief not to hide it anymore. Will be pleased to get to the 12 scan & hopefully have good news.

stealthbanana · 16/06/2016 10:35

Good luck magpie!

Dueindecember2016 · 16/06/2016 11:12

Don't be nervous emz32, is so amazing seeing the little one wriggling around. I'm sure everything will be fine :) let us know x

MagpieCursedTea · 16/06/2016 14:45

Thanks all! Scan went well, baby is measuring at 10+5 (which matches ovulation) so need to go back in a couple of weeks for nuchal tests etc. Great to see the heartbeat and even little legs kicking when the sonographer pressed down.

happylass · 16/06/2016 15:59

Great news Magpie! So glad all went well with the scan.

sueevone · 16/06/2016 17:21

Test/scan went well for me too! Baby wouldn't sit still long enough for a good photo but was lovely to see him or her active. EDD. Has been brought forward to 18th Dec.
