Welcome to another riveting instalment of TTC#1 grads.

We've got new grads POAS every day just to make sure, 1st Trimesters wondering if they will be hit by the dreaded morning sickness or not, those approaching the hollowed promised land of the second trimester where all is good and the glowing will prevail... Those who have reached the second trimester and are thoroughly miffed at the lack of glowing.
We have scan photos, bizarre symptoms and the joys of baby shopping, and very importantly we now have Stark!

All are welcome on the wild gas powered ride that is TTC#1 grads Grin

I can't watch OBEM. I don't have a very strong stomach. Lord knows how I'm going to do it myself! But I'm better if its me - eg if I cut myself I can deal with it, if anyone else injures themselves I'm a fainter!

Sodasoda · 23/03/2016 16:21

Ooh bump pics! I'll post one later but pretty sure I just look a bit fat round the middle. I think I looked more pregnant around 11-12 weeks because of the bloating!

Mileymoocow · 23/03/2016 16:43

runner that is a neat bump! You don't look huge at all and to me it definitely looks all baby!

Peaches8Posies · 23/03/2016 16:46

Hello ladies been a mad few days, how are we all?

stark when I got my first positive I told OH and instantly said the lines quite faint so it might not be 100%. In case I jinx it I'm not talking about it just now. Literally was a week later I took another test got a strong line, called him and told him first thing going he said am I allowed to be excited yet? Poor guy, haha, so I know exactly how you feel. I'm still not saying much in real life, just on here. I'm rather terrified and at 6+3 I don't have too many symptoms so there's that little part of me keeps thinking it's because it's all going to go wrong imminently! So 5tar i can completely empathise with you too.

Will catch up with OBEM tonight.always fascinates me when dad's etc.. are in the labour room. My dad would literally rather die a long death! He sat in the waiting room whilst my mum delivered me so no way that's ever happening haha. A few years ago I watched an American programme similar to one born and they practically had the full family in the room with them. Parents, grandparents, in laws, friends. Not for me it's bad enough the amount of health professionals get to see your neither regions don't need a family gathering there looking too haha.

Peaches8Posies · 23/03/2016 16:49

runner beautiful picture, that's all baby girl!! Not fat!! Relax 😊

Runner05 · 23/03/2016 17:09

Haha! Trust me, there's plenty of fat... I pulled my jeans up to hold it in a bit Wink

I will be having OH in the delivery room but he will be under strict instructions that he is to stay near my top half... He does not need to see my nether region in that state!!!

Love the photo Runner! Can't wait to see everyone else's!

I'm excited to reach 5 weeks tomorrow, feels like an achievement lol. I've known for a whole week now and not blabbed to anyone or had a meltdown!

In regards to the test lines, mines has always been really strong. Even the first test I did at like 3+6 came up immediately in the evening, not on FMU. Is that a good sign? I thought it wasn't much to read into but if it might mean a better chance with this pregnancy, I'll take that!!!

shelbTa · 23/03/2016 17:52

Bloody hell runner!!!! Is that the fibroid making it stick out so early on? You look great.

So much to catch up on, hope all ok. I'm bloody irritable these past few days, but apart from that, same old.

X

Runner05 · 23/03/2016 17:57

Jam the early dark lines may mean that you ovulated early in your cycle and are further along than you think.

Shelb I think it's equal parts fibroid and genetics. My sister was huge really early with both her pregnancies.

Mileymoocow · 23/03/2016 18:10

I agree with runner in that you may be further on jam! Do you know exactly when you ovulated? Mine was quite faint at 11dpo

Canters15 · 23/03/2016 18:24

Lovely pic runner!!

I think it's so normal to be worried in early preg. I feel exactly the same- I'm 5+2, not many symptoms and a bit terrified there's nothing in there! But the stats are in my favour, 90% of women my age get a take home baby from this stage so I just have to remember that.

Jamjar12 · 23/03/2016 18:27

No, annoyingly I didn't do any tracking this month so no Ovia, no OPKs and ignored CM as much as possible! AF started on the 18th Feb which is 5 weeks tomorrow. AF was due about 3/4 days ago.

I'd love to be further along haha!

Morwenna1 · 23/03/2016 18:34

That's a neat bump Runner!

I'm with you Soda I think I can handle the gory bits, it's just the distressing situations I can't watch. I'd rather not be worrying about something that hopefully won't happen!

Pinklily1 · 23/03/2016 19:11

So this is me at 17+1. I'm a bit jealous of Runners proper bump now!

Canters15 · 23/03/2016 19:23

Awwww cute pink!

Jam, Ive had the same thing re strong hpts, and reasonably sure I know when I ovulated too. Taking it as a good sign because quite frankly I need all the good signs I can get!

LisaTheGreek · 23/03/2016 19:31

Runner, that's is a proper bump, it's amazing! You look awesome!

Pink, you look lovely! Such a sweet little bump! (Also, I think I have the same carpet as you....and wall colour... and same type of skirting...Wait, do you live in my house??)

Pinklily1 · 23/03/2016 19:38

Haha Lisa. Its a new build, so totally blank canvas!

Nevlet · 23/03/2016 20:37

Checking in after a few days of crazyness at work and no posting- too much to catch back up on so will just say I hope you are all fine!

Tmi but am having major stomach issues out of nowhere this evening been feeling fine all day then couple of hours ago blinding stomach cramps and very very upset bowels. Feel fine in myself and fine inbetween trips to the loo! Very strange!

Runner05 · 23/03/2016 20:51

Jam it is possible. I ovulate really early, just a couple of days after AF finished. If you're the same then you might find you're a week or so further along. Smile

Aww Pink that's a nice little bump, want to swap? Lol Wink

Haha Lisa I've just realised that I also have the same carpet and wall colour in my apartment as Pink (all be it a lot worse for wear) freaky!

So, I picked up the pram today Grin just spent an hour putting it together and making sure it's all present and correct. Really love it but all achey and shattered now, I apparently no longer have abs Hmm

Runner05 · 23/03/2016 20:55

Nev I get this every now and then. I just think it's a side effect the slowdown of our digestive systems. Every now and then it needs to purge itself.
Tmi but some times I go days barely pooping then I get a day like yours and can't believe it is actually possible to poop that much without visibly losing weight Hmm

OP posts:
Nevlet · 23/03/2016 20:59

Thanks runner i have been very much the same with days of nothing then a day where i go loads which is fine... Its the explosive liquid nature that has shocked me today haha!

Runner05 · 23/03/2016 21:27

I just figure the days when you get loose poop are the ones where your body really has a lot of crap to shift lol

OP posts:
Mileymoocow · 23/03/2016 21:31

nev I woke up at 2am yesterday morning with a horrendous pain that turned out to be bad diarrhea after 3 days of constipation. I wondered if it was a purge type thing too.

Laurenrl · 23/03/2016 21:37

Have also had this 'purge' delight of a side effect, so probably normal!

LillianFullStop · 23/03/2016 21:46

Awww runner and pink loving the bump pics! I'm only 10+1 so any visible bump is all me!

Had my booking in appointment yesterday and almost fainted with the blood test - hate needles!! Got weighed and surprisingly a kilo less than I was pre-BFP. My appetite has been odd. I go from famished to full after 4 spoonfuls. Got put down for gestational diabetes test because diabetes runs in the family.

Private scan tomorrow ... excited and scared!! hoping to tell the immediate fam the news this weekend!
