MrsRolly · 08/02/2016 13:40

Thanks Indians he's blessed with beauty not brains - spends time relaxing in the road Shock

Do you often work at got all the good names? I have found when I do I often have extreme pregnancy symptoms not sure why could be a coincidence but all my morning sickness and then today severe dizzy spells have been during says scheduled in from home? Hope it clears up for you soon though it's awful especially when you think you are free of sickness!

MrsRolly · 08/02/2016 13:41

Home not got!

Cookiesandcoffee · 08/02/2016 14:12

Aww lovely pic pinsey - and lovely cat ones too!! That's nice to have an extra few scans, is everything ok though? These cat pics are making me very happy at my cold desk!
mrsrolly yes I would always buy a new mattress. I'm even buying a new one to put on DDs old cot bed. You keep him out those roads the little terror. It Makes me so paranoid because our old cat was like that (not street wise AT ALL) and he was run over by a reversing car Sad luckily his sister has her wits about her and is still with us!

rolly it's the first time I've had it and I work from home lots. Not sure what is is really but time will tell I suppose. Just annoying because I've got to deliver a training session to 25 masters students tomorrow and really don't want to be running from the room every 5 mins to barf. Think I'll have to stock up on the ginger beer.

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 08/02/2016 14:59

loving all the cat pics by the way. indians your cat is gorgeous!

All the good names - like you, I think that I am having worse sickness in my second trimester than my first. Can barely eat or hold food down. It is making work interesting... I am hoping it is going to pass but it has lasted for a week so far. I hope we both feel better soon. I am starting to think that it is a myth that you feel better in the second trimester. Still exhausted, sick, spotty and craving savoury snacks! An attractive sight!!!!

birchybaby2 · 08/02/2016 16:39

Succumbed and picked up a few baby bits in the morrisons sale. Not sure if we're pink or blue so had to get 2 blankets, but though both colours where cute. 4 weeks till scan. Loving following all the posts. Xx

Pinseyboo38 · 08/02/2016 17:19

Thanks cookies they just want to monitor the growth of the fibroids as there quite low down in my uterus and if they get too big could possibly cause issues with delaying the progression of labour and a few other scarier possibilities that whilst unusual can happen. I'm choosing to remain optimistic as I've got this far xx

Lulabells · 08/02/2016 17:51

Hi all! So jealous you guys are all getting to see your babies again and finding out whether team blue or pink! We find out at the 20 week scan on 8th of march (ages away!!).

I was thinking boy because first trimester was completely different to DD as this time had terrible morning sickness and out of this world exhaustion but craving are very sweet like before so who knows!

Good luck to all the scans coming up. Looking forward to seeing all the lovely pictures! Smile

mascaraisamust · 08/02/2016 18:23

Pinsey fab scan, so clear!

Scase1firsttimemum · 08/02/2016 18:49

Horrid headaches are back Sad thought Id got rid of them!! Ate dinner and instantly felt sick afterwards, no idea why.. Hope its not caused by the stress Ive had today Sad work was horrible

mascaraisamust · 08/02/2016 18:58

Ah no scase, from one fellow headache sufferer to another, I feel you pain and they often make me sick too (didn't have one this weekend for the first time though).

Have a bath, chill out and keeping sipping water Sad

Scase1firsttimemum · 08/02/2016 19:30

Wish I could bath, but only have a showerSad Id love to chill in a hot bath right now

Pinseyboo38 · 08/02/2016 20:07

Thanks mascara, got a great pic where she's blowing a bubble lol
This properly sounds really strange scase but have you tried sitting down in the shower and just letting the water flow over you. When I lived with the parentsthat's why I used to do,it can be quite soothing. Now I live on my own I only have a bath and would love a shower lol xx

Gx91 · 08/02/2016 20:15

Marking my place on new thread ,
Congratulations lovely scan pics ladies !
Think I'm going to book in for a private scan to find out gender too Grin
Hope ur all having a good night X

Scase1firsttimemum · 08/02/2016 20:40

Doesnt sound strange as I have done that before Pinsey!

Seriously this has been a constant headache and I dunno if I can take it anymore SadSadSad feeling so run down! This week full of stupidly early mornings is gunna kill me.

HopesAndDreams15 · 08/02/2016 20:50

Lovely pic Pinsey. Loving that cat pics too ladies!

Indians interesting the old wives tales have been right for you. I don't think there's been any pattern to any of my pregnancies and I've guessed wrong every time!

Jem I'm still weeing at least once in the night but I can do it with my eyes closed now I'm so used to it...be nice not to though as I think it disturbs DH more than it does me.

Beaut from what you've said I really think you'll be team pink.

Allthegood I'm sure it's possible for sickness to start in the 2nd trimester but could it be a bug instead? Hope you're feeling better soon.

Sorry you're still suffering too Thom Thanks**

Hope the headache has eased Scase.

Good luck to those counting down until their next scan, hope the time goes quickly for everyone!

mascaraisamust · 08/02/2016 21:14

Is it bad that I'm counting to the next one already Hmm 3 weeks today Grin

17 weeks - blue

minieggaddict · 08/02/2016 21:14

Scase - headaches suck, I feel your pain. If you haven't done it yet take a couple paracetamol and go to bed. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Scase1firsttimemum · 08/02/2016 21:20

Im scared to take paracetamol, I know we can have it but I dunnoo.. Never been much of a pain killer taker anyway, if I can just about deal with it without painkillers then I dont need them :L

However on a better not, Im sure I just felt 4 definite teeny kicks from little man Grin all in the same spot, felt quite weird! And spaced apart Grin Im hoping its him because its made me extremely happy thinking it is!

17+6

Scase1firsttimemum · 08/02/2016 21:21
