Oh, congratulations on all the lovely scans, everyone!
My bump has suddenly 'popped' in the last three days - right after I felt the baby move for the first time, basically. I actually look pregnant and had my first comment from a stranger yesterday! It is extremely comforting to see the physical evidence of the baby right THERE, and now I can't keep my hands off my bump - I have become an annoying bump-massager.
I also bought some bras from Mothercare. Wasn't massively impressed with the service - she measured me over two layers of clothing, including a fluffyish jumper, for a start! And then she decided I was a 32DD, but they didn't have any 32DDs so she put me in a 34C with the band done up to the tightest setting. It's clearly not quite right - it's lifting at the back - but I was just so DESPERATE for a bra by this point that I bought a two-pack anyway, and figured I only have to wear them for a couple of months before my breasts grow again. It's a lot comfier than what I had, at least.
I actually suspect I'm now a 30E as I usually take a 28E/30DD, but so few places do 30 bands...
DH has accepted a lovely old birch cot (which converts into a bed) from the super couple who run our local pub, so that's one thing ticked off the list - just have to buy a new mattress for it.
I am sooo looking forward to my scan on Thursday now. Like a lot of you, I feel like if that goes well then I will be able to relax a lot more.
