Ooh please post photos of the new prams

Posted too soon -

I'm a pram addict. I keep sneaking down to the basement where I keep mine permanently set up, so I can practise 'driving' it Blush. And its definitely ok to keep it at your house Rosie, you need planty of time to admire it in all its lovely newness before the baby comes Wink.

Suz at least you know the cause of the lightheadedness now and theres an easy and free solution.

Glad I'm not the only one who's had enough of this being pregnant stuff!

What pram have you got Beautiful? Ours arrived a while ago but it is at DH's office for now. I am super excited as we had the same one for DC1 & 2 (bugaboo Cameleon) and I am happy to have a brand spanking new one! We have got the Uppababy Vista in green Grin

It's the Cosatto Giggle 2! Never had a brand new pram before Grin

Rosie it's meant to be bad luck but oh well... what about 2nd/3rd/4th time mums like me? We already have our old prams set up in the house!

I don't know how the fuck we're going to explain our black, white and pink pram to everyone we've told we "don't know the sex", however...

Yay for all the new prams! We're sticking with our boring Quinny. Just brazen it out Beautiful, I'm a big believer that things like prams should be more a reflection of your taste than your baby's sex, and if you liked the pink one you should have bought it regardless. I had a purple Moby wrap with ds, followed by a pink patterned sling, I reasoned they were my slings so I got to choose what I liked.

Afternoon, and happy Friday!

Glad you got some sleep, marmite! I'll note that duvet tip (though if it comes to it I'll have to buy a single duvet - let's face it, we'll need one eventually anyway!)

Me & Rosie, 35 weeks! Shock we're here, this is the end-game! (Well, you are, I'm only 32)

Good on that girl, neh, put those men to shame. Good on your OH maybe.

I was thinking about my sitting-down-teaching today. It's not always about the weight, as you say, but also that my lungs are compressed and yet I'm "breathing for two". I need to rest!

Oh, Trinpy! Your DS peeling your eyes open sounds hilariously awful! BrewChocolate

Lol! Scrubbing the floor lest it sully your new pram, Beaut! Grin
Luck-schmuck Rosie, there's no such thing anyway!

I'm with Suz in her reasoning (and the boring old Quinny!). I've bought a wrap in my favourite colour. And had octobaby been a girl I wouldn't have been seen dead in any pink!

Nothing exciting going on here. Except I slept through without a wee last night (result!). Looking forward to an early night with no planning/marking. Grin

Suz that's a good idea actually! I could just look at MIL like Confused I just like the pram, does it matter if a boy goes in it? She will be immediately telling everyone how mental I am! Haha.

Haha, just stick to your guns Beautiful - "yes I just looooooooved the pattern, I had to get it, what's the matter don't you like it???" Grin

We were quite eager with our pram - we had it delivered in December and it's been up in the baby's room ever since! I'm not one for superstition though. I have the odd practice and putting it down and into the car as I don't want to be struggling with a newborn.

I've been super busy the last 2 days at work, looking forward to the weekend for a bit of a chill. Have a good one all!

Oh and I meant to say Suz - rubbish about the iron, get the docs to prescribe you some lactulose or Movicol as well! Movicol has worked much better for me personally and I only need half a sachet a day but it has helped so much in keeping things moving!

Very handsome pram! I was excited about mine too! So was dh which really surprised me as he's not really that way inclined! We bought a new (actually second hand) buggy last weekend! I stupidly bought an icandy for ds1 that couldn't be turned into a double. Why??!! So got an older peach blossom twin from local lady on eBay to cart both of them around. Ds1 will only be 17 mths when ds2 born. Soooo nervous now. 5 weeks today and I'll be in middle of labour or maybe - if I'm a hell of a lot luckier than last time - finished!! X

beautiful great choice with the giggle 2! 😉 We went with the Firebird pattern. We have it up in the baby's room and I keep having a whizz round the bedrooms for a test drive.
Also tested out the car seat with my old Ted.
suz I haven't bought or even tried on a sling yet, my DSis runs a sling library but she lives so far away 😣 I'm hoping she will get up north for a visit in the first few days so she can sling me up as it were.

Confession time, I put my knickers on inside out this morning. I realised after about ten mins when I went to the loo, but just couldn't be bothered with the effort of taking my maternity jeans off again. 😳

I am liking all the pram photos here.
We don't have one yet. Starting to feel a bit panicked about that.
33 weeks tomorrow. Have my 34 week midwife app next Friday.
Anyone else starting to find babies movements uncomfortable now? I a, finding my self wincing occasionally when she moves. And she is a lot more active now than a few weeks ago.
It's weird at 17 weeks I was told I had anterior placenta. At 20 week scan I was told I had a fundal placenta. At 29 4d scan I was told I had a mostly posterior/fundal placenta. So I assume as my uterus grew it moved like a baloon would if you blew it up.
Anyone else who had an inny belly button. I no longer have a belly button? It's completely flat. Oh thinks it's hilarious. I think it looks really strange.
Really scared I won't sleep tonight. Just have this vision of me lying their awake all night. Between 4:30-6:30 last night I didn't check my iPad/phone. Just laid still in the dark with my eyes closed very relaxed but just couldn't drift back off and I'm scared I won't sleep tonight.

Only working Wednesday and Thursday next week. Have plans for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday though.

Legs not to bad tonight as long as I keep busy as soon as I sit down I just feel irritable (itchy, restless legs) but if I keep busy with my hands eg knitting, typing it goes away but if I just try and watch television it is back. So annoying. Constantly feel on edge/jittery and really don't feel like I can cope with this any longer

You still have time to get a pram scared! Have you figured out what you want?

And yes, my very deep belly button (have always carried extra chub on my stomach) is completely flat! And really sore to touch.

I've had my pram since 20 weeks Blush

We have a baby Zen yoyo. Needed something very lightweight for zipping around London as we don't have a car.

Got given a £100 mother care voucher from work today so need to buy some more things! We have most things we need now so may save it up for when baby is older.

Changing the subject slightly, I have a niave first home mum question ... is it unrealistic to go on a hen do 2 months after baby is born ? When I was originally asked months ago I thought it was plenty of time but having read the baby books and spoken to friends I'm not sure if it's realistic!! Especially if I'm breast feeding. OH wants me to pull out of it now but it's a close friend & I think id have to end up paying the money anyway at this point :p
