I'm up too, given up trying to sleep after and hour and a half of lying between snoring dh and snoring dd!

dobbythedoggy · 19/02/2016 05:30

missi sounds like zach's making up for lost feeds! Hope you are all feeling much better now and don't catch anything going around.

Me624 · 19/02/2016 06:09

Morning all, CSC for me too. I had about 45 mins of very mild cramps last night around 8.30/9. It went away after a shower but I then had horrific heartburn (self induced, ate too much chocolate before bed!). The cramps were very mild but definitely period type pains and very different to the BH I've been having. It still feels too early for anything to be happening though.

Good luck Rosie! Keep us updated.

I am 38 weeks today too doc! And finally my last day of work is here.

MyNameIsSuz · 19/02/2016 06:16

Oh no, lots in the csc last night. Me too, wide awake from about 2 to 4.30. Not ready to get up!

marmiteandcheeseplease · 19/02/2016 07:32

Another member of CSC here too... Had stomach cramps all night, my payback for eating a large rich meal! Practiced my yoga 'contraction breathing' in the night and it realky did help distract me from the pain which is good. Sorry of tmi but then had the runs really bad this morning Sad just bought some floradix as I'm definitely giving up on the iron tablets.

Someone up thread mentioned teething? DD is also teething at the moment and has been very challenging... I noticed yesterday that one tooth at the back has j

marmiteandcheeseplease · 19/02/2016 07:34

Christ sake, keep pressing send by accident, fat finger syndrome!

Anyway I noticed yesterday a bit of tooth has finally come through, but theyre her last molars so I'm expecting to be in for the long haul. Will be fun when both DD1 and DD2 are waking up at night... Hmm

maybebabybee · 19/02/2016 07:37

Ooh rosie fx!!!

I'm also sick of being pregnant but at the same time would quite like another couple of weeks to myself before he comes. I'm 37+3 but all the ladies in my family go overdue so I'm not expecting him any time soon. Seems weird it could be another 5 weeks if I go to 42 weeks though!!

There's no way I could reach my own foof to tidy it up with this massive bump, you ladies must be v agile! I'm not particularly hairy in any case so I don't think I'll bother. Never have before Grin

maybebabybee · 19/02/2016 07:37

Tmi but v "damp" down there this morning....it's so annoying!!

Crispylicious · 19/02/2016 07:42

I was in CSC too thanks to DD. she's ill and woken every night for the last three nights for an hour or so. Combined with my preggo insomnia, I'm knackered!

rosie all v exciting!

vroc hope you are ok and also you marmite . I assumed the flu jab protected us against swine flu!

missi so pleased you are back home. Hope the cluster feeding isn't too exhausting.

Lots of BHs here too but thankfully nothing else. The baby needs to get head down before anything is allowed to start!

Paperblank · 19/02/2016 08:03

CSC here too Sad I can't remember the last time I slept well. I woke up at 2.30, and was sick - happened the night before too.

Any one seen Pug?

magpiedreams · 19/02/2016 08:12

Morning all. Sorry for those with crappy sleep last night, how exciting for some of you being so close joe though! Especially rosie...eek! We still never heard from pug did we?

missi glad Zach's well enough to be cluster feeding like that, but it must be exhausting! Hope it doesn't go on too long.

crispy hope your DD is better soon, it's so hard finding the energy to get up to them and be nice about it when heavily pregnant!

Thanks for the well wishes, they kept me in to monitor things and the swab result will be back today (my money's on it being negative but we shall see!). My temp's been down since last night which is a good sign. The flu jab does cover swine flu but like all vaccines isn't 100%. I think they've got a bit over excited about me tbh and I don't really need to be here! I just feel like I have a cold.

BeautifulLiar · 19/02/2016 08:23

Good luck Rosie, keep us updated!

I actually slept last night, can't believe it. Was it because I didn't even have a tiny sip of a drink before falling asleep?!

I'm excited that it's not long before me and DH are waking up next to our baby :) I used to find my others in random places, having fed them in the night and fallen asleep! Oops...

MyNameIsSuz · 19/02/2016 08:46

Oh god Beautiful me too! I also used to imagine he was in a random place - I'd wake up convinced he was in the bed and frantically look for him in a panic, when he was sleeping happily in the basket next to me!

BeautifulLiar · 19/02/2016 08:53

Haha same Suz! So glad I'm not the only one. I remember once waking up next to Willow thinking "shit, why are you not in your basket?!" And checking to see if she was breathing Blush my panic woke DH up too. But she was fine!

What's everyone doing today? It's half term but we're staying in because I've got carpet fitters and a Dunelm Mill delivery on the way... so hopefully by the end of the day the girls' will have a gorgeous new bedroom. Can't wait :)

Pug and Scared how are you getting on? And Missi bless you, hope all is well. It's SO hard to keep up on here with my phone cos I can't really see any posts once I start to reply!

KitKatM · 19/02/2016 09:03

Hello! Can I join? I'm due 10th March - final countdown! Where is everyone from?

hayleycookie · 19/02/2016 09:23

Welcome Kit! I'm due 10th March too and am in cambs. How's your pregnancy going so far? We just reached term! High five to us!

MyNameIsSuz · 19/02/2016 09:26

Yay, I'm due on the 10th too! I'm in Oxfordshire but grew up in cambs hayley, wonder if you're near where I'm from.

KitKatM · 19/02/2016 09:34

Hello-- how do you tag someone in your reply?! Hmm we currently live in East London but are relocating to Surrey (Woking/ West Byfleet area) to be closer to parents. House is currently on the market - as you do when you're about to give birth!

Crispylicious · 19/02/2016 09:45

I grew up in Cambs too! Near Peterborough/Stamford.

suz oh yes to the desperate hunting for the baby in the bed. DH used to do it too!

mag I'm so pleased you're feeling a little better.

vroc81 · 19/02/2016 09:57

Hi Kit welcome to the mad house!

Miisi glad you're back home again!!

Beaut sounds like a good day - are the girls looking forward to their new room? I may have subjected our nursery to some Dunelm dinosaurness before shes too old to complain and it all becomes Frozen or something...

Another one in CSC last night, by the time I got back from hospital and had some dinner and gave myself indigestion I think my mind wasn't ready to slow down... Now sat at my desk with paranoia that my eyes are going funny or some other symptom off the long list the doctor gave me last night with a get yourself back immediately if you suffer from... I'm sure its all in my mind!

BeautifulLiar · 19/02/2016 10:09

vroc can you nap today? So glad there's another Dunelm fan in the house. I was browsing for so long in there yesterday we had to race back for DS' swimming lesson Blush they are excited! Getting the new Katy rabbit bedding and some pink polka dot curtains and some drawers mostly to satisfy my nesting urges

Hey Kit! I'm in Lincolnshire... all alone over here I think?

RIGHT all you girls due on the 10th, what do you think of "the 10th of March" as a birthday? I'm due on the 8th and being absolutely ridiculous because the 10th just sounds like such a "harsh" date and I'm annoying myself with it!! So bit worried baby will be born then... I am really funny with dates though... sure I won't give a crap when she's here but wanted some opinions! Ha x

marmiteandcheeseplease · 19/02/2016 10:13

I think 10th march is fine though it is my brothers and friends birthday so hoping to avoid it for this baby. I'm hoping for 5th march or earlier so that I get to spend mother's day with baby and DD and not being heavily pregnant but fully expecting to go over...

maybebabybee · 19/02/2016 10:15

Beaut 10 March is my nan's birthday so is a lovely date to me :)

I'm due on the 8th too but fully prepared to go way way overdue.

RhubarbAndMustard · 19/02/2016 10:15

Hi Kit, I'm technically due on the 10th too but c sec booked for 3rd. I'm in Kent.

Beaut I'm a bit funny with dates too. I prefer even numbers so was happy with 10th, but the 3rd doesn't feel right to me. How daft that sounds!

KitKatM · 19/02/2016 10:25

I like 10th March- don't really want a leap year baby! It'll always be annoying for her...be nice if she arrives on Mother's Day. Feeling so out of breath and heavy, I'm dragging myself out for a walk around the park while it's sunny Smile
