For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

I don't want to, this thread (well I guess mainly the ug thread but you know what I mean!) Has been a big part of my life for a very long time but I'm feeling very hurt and upset ATM so need to gather myself a bit! I've cried a lot in the last 24hrs or so and that's not good for me or my baby.

Keep hoping baby comes soon then thinking "shit, better get stuff done!" beforehand. Random Admin stuff. Can't can't be bothered ATM!

Just wanted to say hi and that I hope you guys are ok and all the babies are cooking nicely. This thread (and JSing) has been my home from home for over two years and I consider many folk to be not just friends but like family. There's no way I want anyone to be feeling like they can't get the support they need on this thread, as that's completely not what the JSers are about and this place has been such a support to so many women ttc through to babies being born.

Lil I hope you're ok - your baby is precious and whatever goes on here or elsewhere I'm excited to see him/her arrive safely and see you become a mummy at last, after all you've been through. Nothing will ever change that. We've come too far over the years and I'll always be delighted for you and cheering you on when the time comes.

Before the Facebook group became a thing this thread existed to be an outlet for folk to vent and share, and that's how it needs to stay. Please don't leave this thread lil, it's too important to you and you are too important to the folk on it.

To everyone on here who thought people weren't supportive of a newbie on Facebook - I think that's a huge shame and apologise for any involvement I might have had in that. It's not in the spirit of the JSers and shouldn't happen. Please please let me know to my 'face' (online equivalent!) if I ever do or say anything that's less than helpful.

Hmm, I think my departure from the group was well timed as I have no idea what's making you all so sad I hope whatever it is is resolved soon. Life's too short.

Half decent nights sleep here, until DS woke up before 6 and unable to go back to sleep. Luckily he's off to my parents for the arvo so I should be able to nap.

I honestly can't tell you how excited I am about having a baby soooooooooooooooooon!
(Although I did look at elcs procedures online yesterday, as I don't remember much of my emergency one, and it gave me a little wobble. Repeat after me, it can't be as bad as last time)

Thurs if it's any consolation, a friend of mine had an elcs (had a ginormababy, so no chance of natural birth) and the first pictures of her and the baby were amazing - she looked like a model, all calm and serene and the baby looked so relaxed. She said that it was a fabulous experience (not like her first labour and subsequent emcs).... (p.s. ginormababy was 10lbs 4 )

This is what I keep reading Mermaid and yes it very much does provide consolation thanks! It's mostly the siting of the spinal that makes me nervous as my epidural with DS was a bit of a cock up. But I'm sure not being in full blown labour will help!

I dint know much about multiple births...have you started to think about your options?

I'm thinking I'll have to be led by what the medical team think...I'm on scans every two weeks for the whole pregnancy and will probably end up delivering early (35-36 wks)

I'm actually swaying towards an elcs myself, if only for the knowledge that it will all be planned rather than the pessaries/sweeps etc of an induced labour. I don't care if it's a cop out!!

Lil that's very cute. And please don't get so upset - life is too short and it's not worth it. You have a baby growing inside you, and that's all that matters at the moment

Merm hopefully pregsomnia buggers off soon. Mine lasted till about 18 weeks then tailed off.

Thurs early wake ups are such a PITA. It is DS's nursery day today so of course he slept past 6.30 (a lie in in this house). Yay for napping opportunity later though!

My sleep is awful ATM. I'm too hot, my hips are sore, and on top of that I was woken up by leg cramps tonight I feel like I need 3 days of uninterrupted sleep to feel myself again...

Sorry about the moan. At least my cold is buggering off! And I'm wearing flats today in hope not to be boiling in the office again.
