It's the calm before the storm (sort of) that is Fantastic February and the March Madness - we did a lot of shagging last summer! We need more JSers on this, our 44th thread!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 44th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 43rd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 57th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Exciting Tea hope he behaves himself Smile

My GTT result was something 5.7 to start then 5.5 after two hours. My MW described it as 'about as average as possible'. Fine by me.

goodness it's getting a bit lovely over there isn't it? I saw the gf post but not the comments. Whatever works is usually my mantra, really sorry for the vitriol you received feathered
**
I'm in a bit of a conundrum really, I love the fb group for advice and support but if it's going to get nasty I don't really want to be a part of it. It's also easier to catch up with notifications etc This thread doesn't seem like the right place to post baby stuff as it's an amazing source of preggo support (something which I've been hugely hugely grateful for with my troubles!) and don't want to derail that. It's a tricky one.

Big love to all, good luck for gtt Sky not fun but over soon! Get a drink in you immediately afterwards and take it easy if you can!

MollyBloomYes · 02/02/2016 11:36

Ahem...lively not lovely over there!

MollyBloomYes · 02/02/2016 11:37

Oh and I've buggered up putting things in bold. I give up Grin

FeatheredTail · 02/02/2016 11:49

Molly how's your lovely boy doing post TT op? And how's your bigger boy coping with his new bro?

Ha, the GF post stuff is part and parcel of social media I guess Molly - just wasn't expecting the sarcastic/rude posts from the JS group on what I thought was a relatively innocent post! Pretz popcorn was absolutely the right comment!! Grin Don't you dare apologise!

Pretz I can't believe you're not on this thread anymore, wahhhh.....come back and say hi (and share tips about stuff you've bought that's great/not so great). Also want a full report on what the Armadillo Flip is like as it's one I'm looking at!

Sky hope you're not too hungry and get to eat something soon. Was also confused about GTT as no one has offered that to me. Don't think I'm in a risk factor group, although I say that whilst eating my 493rd slice of soreen this morning, so there's every chance I could trigger some kind of insulin resistance before May.

Honey serious question: if I practice at weekends and evenings, do you think I can learn to either knit or crochet something for the baby by May? I haven't done any crochet since I was ten, but I have a £50 bet with DH that I will learn and have produced something by May. The only rule is that it can't just be some random stitches, it HAS to be a useful item. Yeah, we bet cash. We're married, but we bet cash and we play to win.

honeysucklejasmine · 02/02/2016 12:05

Feathered EASILY! Seriously, its really not hard. Tattoo only just started and she's making octopi within a few weeks. Making something like a blanket is really not too tricky, honest. It just looks impressive.

Molly how is DS2 coping? Is his latch different?

honeysucklejasmine · 02/02/2016 12:06

5hell yes, maybe. Currently using six pillows so can prob tone it down a bit! Wink

Tea thank you. That's good to know!

Thursday "average" is such a delightful description.

Peenut · 02/02/2016 12:14

Hi Molly! Nice to see you! I didn't realise that was you posting about the TT yesterday! Hope your little boy is recovering well! (That's another thing about FB group, I'm probably talking to most of you on there without realising who you are, sorry!)

I'd love to hear how you are getting on on here –like Feathered said, any advice and experiences you've have is much appreciated :)

Feathered ha ha! Soreen induced GD! I wonder if they'd write it on your maternity file notes?

Nice to hear you are doing good Pretz! What a birth story –you certainly had a crazy few days –love the name Mathilda! I did enjoy the gripping Jelly Pretzel induction news feed too –you guys prob didn't but we were on the the edge of our seats!

Hope test goes well Sky!

honeysucklejasmine · 02/02/2016 12:18

I dare say Jelly and Pretzel were on the edges of their seats too, but for different reasons! Wink

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/02/2016 12:18

Survived the GTT! It wasn't so bad...

Molly! How are you sunshine?! Glad to see you back on Fred.

Have unceremoniously left FB group. If anyone would like to stay in touch off Fred please feel free to pm me.

5hell · 02/02/2016 12:29

genuinely and pathetically tearing-up over viroids falling out, leaving fb etc...please no one leave here too :( cant we all just forgive and forget, and accept we're different with different opinions?...life's too short

maybe fb really is the devil's work, or maybe there's just something in the air this week...dh said things were majorly kicking off in a couple of cycling groups he's on too! Confused

Peenut · 02/02/2016 12:39

Oh no, nobody leave here! Nobody is are they?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/02/2016 12:42

Oh 5hell it is truly pants. I feel really sad about the way things have unfolded and I don't want to be a part of anymore drama, thats all. I am not leaving the Fred. I luffs it on here with you lot.

MollyBloomYes · 02/02/2016 12:44

Ah thanks lovelies! Well if you insist on hearing about my boys Wink in possibly the worst timing ever got smallest boy home yesterday and he was very unsettled. By evening his breathing was rattling, nose congested and he was struggling to clear everything. Had him thoroughly checked over and have to keep eye out for broncholitis which could mean hospital but not at that stage yet. So difficult to judge feeding really! Think he's more securely latched on but his breathing is making things tricky! Time will tell I suppose!

Bigger boy LUFFS the 'beebee' and will go over to stroke him when he's crying and try and give him his dummy. Yes it is as heart melting as it sounds!

I'll carry on hanging out here, I do try and keep up even if I don't post very often! Haven't made up mind about Facebook, love the funny photos and genuine support but not the arguments! Thanks for you all!

honeysucklejasmine · 02/02/2016 13:02

Oh Molly! How cute is DS1!! What a superstar he is.

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/02/2016 13:04

molly that sounds lovely Smile

DS kicked my belly during a nappy change earlier, I made a big song and dance about how much it hurt and that he needed to say sorry to me.
He leant over, kissed my belly and said 'sorry baby'

Argh! Need to rant about BIL & SIL. For those who don't know... SIL, who had been with BIL a matter of weeks, got pregnant a week after my miscarriage. I struggled hugely to deal with it, especially when they announced the name which was our #1 choice. Since then I've done my best to get over it, and forge a relationship with them both (BIL was a total black sheep who was never at family events). I think we get on great now and I really like them both, despite the odd moment of rage when BIL makes smug comments about how life will change with a baby etc I fucking know, I did it on purpose you twat

But they are doing my but in at the moment. They are just so... Young. Ok, so early twenties. But neither of them have any life experiences and they keep fucking up the most basic things then acting surprised. E.G. being indignant that old landlord is being picky with them, even though their contract finished days ago and they still have the keys. Failing to report damage and then being surprised that ll is miffed about it. Making grand plans about work etc but not actually having a chat with work about these plans. Getting people to come out of their way to take them to work, then keeping them waiting every fucking morning, and being surprised when they no longer want to provide a lift. Spending money like there's no tomorrow and assuming (asset rich) ILs can bail them out... ARGH! I don't remember ever having lessons on how to be a responsible adult, but these two definitely missed them.

I really like them and want to support them, but I also want to go teacher mode on them, sit them down and tell them how life actually works. But I don't want to ruin the relationship I've tried hard to build which should last a lifetime... They are my childs aunt and uncle, after all.

SecondCupOfTea · 02/02/2016 13:45

Growth scan shows a potential porker. Currently heaving himself in at 2.8kg, which is 6lb in old money, and I still have 5+ weeks to go.

I'm blaming whoever mentioned Mini Eggs yesterday, as I can only presume the weight gain is due to me buying a family size bag on the way to the hospital today.

Grin
FeatheredTail · 02/02/2016 13:49

Oh balls! Well, I've cleared up my end of things on the FB thread now. I really dislike drama and it feels very overblown to have to do an actual post, but I do hope I've pacified those who were upset with my griping on this thread. And to think - all over a book my DH bought for us over the weekend! I wish I had posted about the baby names book instead now!

FeatheredTail · 02/02/2016 13:50

Need to catch up with actual thread now, rather than just FB stuff

FeatheredTail · 02/02/2016 14:03

AWWWWWWWWW Thurs and Molly! What lovely sounding toddlers you have!

Oh Honey. I didn't know they took your first choice name....on that alone, I'd be prickly! They just sound immature (actually sound like me as a student, less the spending issues....) and you can't help going into teacher mode. Because you're a teacher. They also sound highly irritating though, particularly being young and attempting to patronise you with their "your life will change y'know" claptrap. Any way you can give them a wide berth for a while?

TriJo · 02/02/2016 14:05

Sorry Second...

/has another sneaky bag of Mini Eggs in the freezer at home :)

This morning went ok in general, apart from the bit where the midwife told me that my relatively small fibroid is probably going to stop me from getting to use the birth centre for the birth. They would prefer to do a managed 3rd stage to mitigate bleeding risks so I'll most likely need to be on labour ward for that.

ThursdayLastWeek · 02/02/2016 14:07

honey they sound like little but a pita. Rant away!

Tea good work on the porker Grin

feathered I did wonder if anyone was keeping an eye on this thread! Hey ho.
