It's the calm before the storm (sort of) that is Fantastic February and the March Madness - we did a lot of shagging last summer! We need more JSers on this, our 44th thread!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 44th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 43rd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 57th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

jelly both I think.....was getting the feelings on both sides of my tummy! That's how I thought it was the babies as opposed to stretching pains!

KateBeckett · 26/01/2016 20:38

Oh thanks viroids I feel better now! I'm only 17 weeks, but midwife made out I needed to be monitoring movements now and any change was bad. She said movements should be the same throughout and when I asked if that was from now she said yes Confused

Thankfully she's not my normal midwife, just covering a holiday! Plus bb seems to be a night owl like daddy as I can feel a few flutterings now!

mer it's lovely/weird isn't it? Grin

I'm also getting Staby womble pains and my hip joints fecking kill! Hello 2nd trimester!!

SockQueen · 26/01/2016 20:51

I've told my educational supervisor, Carrot so he can get the risk assessment wheels in motion. Have to see Occy Health tomorrow anyway about a needlestick injury so will tell them too. I doubt I'll get out of ambulance duty that easily though - out of hours I'm literally the only person in the hospital qualified to do it (my consultant comes in to cover while I'm gone, but they can't do the transfer themselves as they have to stay within 20 mins of the hospital). Hopefully I won't have to do too many though!

CarrotPuff · 26/01/2016 21:38

Hooyah Kate it's too early to be worried about movement. I wasn't even sure if it was gas or baby at that stage with my first! That MW didn't sound very helpful.

DS's 3.5h nap is biting us on the bum now. He's still awake...

honeysucklejasmine · 26/01/2016 21:40

17 weeks?! Ignore her. What a twat.

Ooh Sock, your job sounds so exciting! Definitely get yourself some anti-emetics in that case!

KateBeckett · 26/01/2016 21:49

Ha! Consider her ignored. So glad she's not my actual midwife!

carrot hope he's asleep soon!

And I've got my Pom poms out for jelly !

honeysucklejasmine · 26/01/2016 22:41

I finished packing my hospital bag today I think

36 weeks tomorrow! Shits getting real.

pretzelpieces · 26/01/2016 23:10

Well done honey. Mine's as packed as it can be. Will do the rest tomorrow evening/last minute bits Thursday morning. One more week till full term for you, how awesome.

lildottie · 26/01/2016 23:16

honey mat allowance is not taxable but SMP is weirdly. As for nic you can claim exception because your earnings will be below the lower profits limit. However I think from 2015/16 they've stopped collecting class 2 separately and it will be calculated on your 15/16 tax return. Your last class 2 payment should have been in July to finish paying for 14/15. I can check this for you next week if u like.

sock glad all was well. That blob with a beat is the most frickin awesome thing in the world isn't it! You'll be amazed how much it changes by 12 weeks.

honeysucklejasmine · 27/01/2016 07:13

Ooh thanks Lil, that would be great. July sounds familiar. I think it was about £70, so it's not exactly bank busting amounts which is why I want to keep it up.

36 weeks today. Getting close now!

ThursdayLastWeek · 27/01/2016 07:18

My bloody son woke up at 5.30. Of course he went back down again in 10 mins but can I get back to sleep? Can I fuck.

I've spent the last two hours spending my child tax credit (nursing bras, DVDs, paying off credit card) online.

sock so pleased for your little HB, time to get risk assessed methinks!

honey sounds like you're all set. My hospital bag is pretty much good to go too (before 34 weeks Blush). Just need bits like clothes for me and devices in there now. Oh also need to figure out how to put the infant carrier in the car too!

Quiet night jelly? And pretzel, is this your last day of freedom??

OP posts:
jellypi3 · 27/01/2016 07:35

Yep no progress for me. Pains came about half 1 but this time weren't close together and more constant ache with peaks. Bit frustrated. Never mind.

pret you are so totally being Induced tomorrow!!!!

honeysucklejasmine · 27/01/2016 07:50

Ah yes. Car seat. Do need to do that. Annoyingly it will be my car in use for kiddies, DH's car has a v small boot. But equally, although he is insured to drive my car, I don't want him doing so when he's panicking about getting me to hospital. So need to put car seat in his car really. So no playing with car seats for me. will still get it out and admire it though.

Jelly annoying, but it really could happen at any point now!

Eek Pretzel, last day of freedom!

lildottie · 27/01/2016 07:59

honey you get a certain number of years where you don't need to contribute to allow for things like uni, having kids etc. As long as you have 30 qualifying years when you reach state pension age you've got all you need. You can request a history online to tell you how many years you have here I checked and it was 15/16 the class 2 started going through self assessment with class 4. If you don't have enough years and want to top up you'll have to pay class 3 voluntary contributions

pretzelpieces · 27/01/2016 09:29

Yes, I'm 39 weeks today and it is indeed my last day of freedom before induction in the morning! I'm going to the cinema, gloriously alone Grin

pretzelpieces · 27/01/2016 09:30

Tomorrow is also exactly 8 months since my BFP, which is quite a nice symmetry I think.

FeatheredTail · 27/01/2016 09:36

What are you going to see Pretz?

honeysucklejasmine · 27/01/2016 09:38

Thanks Lil Smile

Seeing anything nice Pretzel? I really want to see Zoolander 2 before DC arrives. It's out soon hopefully.

FeatheredTail · 27/01/2016 09:44

Oh man. WHY do I read AIBU???? My blood pressure is rising.

pretzelpieces · 27/01/2016 09:51

feathered I'm too scared to stray from the JSers now!

I'm going to see Joy - also we saw The Danish Girl at the weekend and I liked that.

pretzelpieces · 27/01/2016 09:54

Sorry nothing exciting happened in the night jelly. I came straight on this morning to see if there was any jellybaby news! Grin

FeatheredTail · 27/01/2016 10:01

Oooh I really want to see Joy! Report back! My friend told me the ending of the Danish Girl (I had no idea) so I don't see the point of going and seeing it now!

Kate I'm nearly 25 weeks and the baby moves when it wants - and went quiet for a couple of days last week. It likes to worry me Grin As others have said, ignore the idiot midwife. I hadn't felt any movement until 20 weeks.

Hope you're feeling ok this morning Jelly?

Sorting out my maternity leave with work. Plan is to take a month of annual leave (probably from 13 April) immediately before mat leave and start mat leave on 16 May (due date is sat 14 May). Decided to take the full year. YEEEEEHAAAAAA! Starting to get excited!

I will need to do a lot in the month before my baby arrives....I have as of yet bought not so much as a baby wipe. ARGH!

The annoying AIBU was a woman who was thinking of putting her kid into private school but was concerned about having 'just' £1.2k left after all household bills. So £1.2k left for food and fun. Someone suggested applying for a BURSARY to cover the fees so they wouldn't have to cope on just £1.2k.

A bursary.

My heart rate just went up again typing that.

jellypi3 · 27/01/2016 10:11

Feeling fine thanks feathered. Just a little frustrated and absolutely exhausted. I'd happily be exhausted if I had a baby right now but being awake at night with pains but no progress as far as I can see is just annoying.

Ooh pret I'm so excited for you! I really hope you get an easy labour with the induction. Enjoy the film.

Wow 1.2k AFTER fees and bills? That's incredible! I'd love to have that much to play with each month. Can deffo see how that would make your blood boil!

FeatheredTail · 27/01/2016 11:20

Awww Jelly. Can I suggest a browse of AIBU? It might activate labour?! Seriously though, hope you can get some snoozing done today. Can you get a boxset on and try to drift into a little daytime doze?

FeatheredTail · 27/01/2016 11:36

I'm not sure how I missed this, but YAY LIL on your healthy 20 week scan! Such a lovely relief.
