It's the calm before the storm (sort of) that is Fantastic February and the March Madness - we did a lot of shagging last summer! We need more JSers on this, our 44th thread!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 44th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 43rd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 57th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Peenut · 27/01/2016 14:28

Had a bit of a weird scare a couple of hours ago –went to the loo only to be greeted with bleeding, quite a scary amount really. No pain or anything but just a lot of blood.

I called my midwife and she told me to call hospital who said some bleeding can happen as everything shifts around while baby grows, and if I'm not in pain not to worry and to call back if it happens again.

Hmmm, did anyone else have this at 16 weeks?

I've come home to sit on the sofa and try not to freak out/ have a nap maybe.

That link you sent 5hell made me laugh!

Jelly, hope you get moving soon but box set snoozing sounds good for now, if you can cat nap.

Hope film was good Pretz.

Kate that seems daft to be expected to track movements when you are only just experiencing them! I have to say I feel a bit fobbed off whenever I speak to mine –maybe it's the same one!

FeatheredTail · 27/01/2016 14:31

Thanks for the giggle 5hell and obviously I had to read the comments. The first one - "who wants their ass wiped with a COLD wipe in the middle of the night?" pahahahaha!

Also meant to reply to your post the other day about getting the house done in time for the baby. I feel your pain, I really do. I wanted ours to be perfect/ready. Although it's mostly quite nice, we won't have half the stuff we wanted done and it really upset me! Mostly because I'm a brat, but also because nesting instinct is real.

Still on the list....new front door (yeah, I can't even think about the door scam), entire upstairs decorated, stair case repairs, new carpet on stairs and bedroom, outside of the house painted, new electrical sockets fitted in bedrooms and garden to be re-lawned and patio-ed with a new shed. WAHHHHH!

MollyBloomYes · 27/01/2016 14:34

Helloooo everyone. Just popping in to say CONGRATULATIONS to Gouda. Pom Lima also duly being dusted off for jelly and pretzel. Let the baby boom begin!

Mostly terrifying.

feathered I knew the ending to The Danish Girl but still enjoyed it, but I guess it depends how you feel.

Joy was good thanks everyone i cried

Thanks jelly I hope you can nap today.

Having a bit of a wobble that goes something like. I'm not ready. I don't want to be induced. I'm afraid. I'm as ready as I'll ever be. I'll cope somehow. I feel like crying. Oh wow I'm going to have a baby that's so wonderful. Yeah. Hmm

honeysucklejasmine · 27/01/2016 15:22

Pee did they not want you to pop in to get checked out? I think I'd ring the MAU and ask them to check you out.

Pretzel of course you can do it.

Peenut · 27/01/2016 15:29

Honey MAU just said to keep an eye on it and call back if it happens again ... I feel really worried though! I'm still getting trickles of blood filling a panty liner, midwife said to put a towel on but I don't have any so just

It's sort of darker than before and mostly when I move about. Do you think ring them back and insist on being seen? I'm just going to stress ... and surely at 16 weeks your cervix is sealed? Where is fricking blood coming from?!

Argh!

Peenut · 27/01/2016 15:33

Sorry half a message there, instead of a towel all I've got is panty liners which are basically useless.

FeatheredTail · 27/01/2016 15:39

Pee I'm SO SORRY I didn't see your post My internet is shit and doesn't update. I wouldn't have posted that silly article right after your post.

Insist on being seen - go to EPU now before it closes.

Try not to worry. Exactly the same thing happened to me at 16 weeks and it turned out to be a polyp (a massive one) that had ruptured. They removed it and there was loads of blood. Polyp was sat on vaj wall but close to the cervix. They kept me in overnight and it was all fine. Fucking scary though.

SecondCupOfTea · 27/01/2016 15:43

Pee I had a sudden, heavy (but brief), bright red bleed at 8 weeks. I went to A&E and had blood tests done and was referred for a scan the next day. All was fine and it seems it was one of those breakthrough bleeds which can happen on the 'anniversary' dates of your period (where your body gets is a tizz about whether it should do a period or not do a period). I've since found out they are quite common in the earlier parts of pregnancy. I also had no pain at all, and only one tiny clot (about the size of a small fingernail).

I would recommend going to get checked out if you haven't already (the only reason I went to A&E was because I hadn't been booked into a maternity unit at that point). You'll not do yourself any good sitting at home fretting about it. How much blood was it, and what colour?

honeysucklejasmine · 27/01/2016 15:43

Pee I think "still bleeding" counts as "happening again". Personally I would not be happy to ignore. I'd rather waste time and money sat in a waiting room that not have a definitive answer. I also have a polyp so if I ever do bleed it will be my first thought, but that's only because I know it's there. You may well have one too, but I'd definitely want to know.

Hobbit19 · 27/01/2016 16:23

Pee, definitely insist on being seen my love, even if it is just to put your mind at rest.

Pretzel, oh my days you are going to have a baby tomorrow!! How amazing is that?! You will be fantastic!

pretzelpieces · 27/01/2016 16:24

pee I'm sorry I'm totally rubbish! Definitely go in and get checked out as the others have said. We are all here to hold your hand. Flowers

pretzelpieces · 27/01/2016 16:46

pud thank you lovey. I wonder what day she'll actually be born.

jellypi3 · 27/01/2016 16:49

pee gouda get checked out. March to the desk and demand to be seen if you need to. Phone back and say it's hurting. Just try to get seen. I can't believe they are fobbing you off like that!

Peenut · 27/01/2016 18:14

Thanks Viroids! I did come in to be checked over, just thought I wouldn't rest if I didn't. Nurse has been very nice, and have heard a heartbeat for the first time - phew.

She's done a speculum exam and can't see any reason for the bleeding but has put it down to 'one of those weird pregnancy things'. ??? (She also required s torch to see up my fanjo which made it feel like cave exploration or something!)

Waiting to see the doctor now before I go. Currently on a ward full of very pregnant people having their waters broken/being monitored. Eeek!

You might have something about the anniversary of my period thing tea. On my first two missed periods I did get bleeding. Just checked and this would be my 4th missed period due date (ish). I'll ask the doctor when he/she comes if that's a possibility.

The blood just sort of came in a rush and it felt like there was loads, more than a period (hence the freaking out) weird. It's darker now so that's good, I think.

I remember that polyp episode feathered! Scary stuff!

What time is your induction pretz?!

Mermaid36 · 27/01/2016 18:14

It's official - I can't lie on my tummy any more, it's too bloody uncomfortable. Hello 2nd tri! Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/01/2016 18:25

pee try not to panic. I hope you can get seen if yhat's what you'd prefer. Sending you a virtual hand hold.

feathered I reported one of your posts above and you might want to report it too as you used an IRL name and it is best not to do that on here. Easily done especially if you're also on the FB group!

Currently sat with DD trying to get her to finish her supper... child is a food dodger... Had a very very productive day today. Got the nursery furniture moved over and sent a load of old stuff to our storage. Really excited to wash and put away baby clothes. DD has so many lovely things and is excited to share with her baby sister. If she ever finishes eating the plan is to go through her old toys after her bath tonight. Very sweet.

Finally saw a proper midwife today. She was a bit ShockConfusedHmm at the lack of care I have had despite being supposedly consultant led and has taken control. This is excellent news but the only downer is that she wants me to have a GTT asap so looks like I didn't dodge that bullet afterall... She did give me the side eye when I said I was only 32 weeks and started talking growth scans. I did explain I carry all out front and sure enough my measurements are smack in the middle of normal. I am choosing to believe my bump appears so unaturally enormous because the rest of me is so elegant and tiny which is a big fat lie but whatevs Grin

CarrotPuff · 27/01/2016 18:32

Oh how scary pee but yay for hb. Maybe you are just one of those people who get "periods" in pregnancy?

honeysucklejasmine · 27/01/2016 18:34

Lol Sky! Good someone is actually paying attention to you!

Pee great news on heart beat. I have had a torch used on me too. When they remodelled the ward they put lights in that don't reach far enough down the bed, so they can't use them. Think more "reading lamp" than "dentists lamp". Beggars belief sometimes.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/01/2016 18:37

pee glad to hear that you have some reassurance.

honey it is a bit of a double-edged sword Grin

SockQueen · 27/01/2016 18:45

Glad you've had some reassurance Peenut! Don't worry about the torch - it's because of NHS lighting facilities rather than any need for cave exploration!
