It's the calm before the storm (sort of) that is Fantastic February and the March Madness - we did a lot of shagging last summer! We need more JSers on this, our 44th thread!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 44th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 43rd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 57th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

hey ain :) pop over whenever, the more the merrier over here!!! :)

honeysucklejasmine · 24/01/2016 10:29

Lol Ain the next few months will be blooming manic with babies popping out all over! (Btw, congratulations on your potential icing! Yay! Grin )

So, #vomitwatch, latest sighting reported 35+4. EnvyEnvyEnvy

jellypi3 · 24/01/2016 10:35

:( honey that sucks...you have really suffered with the vomming haven't you

pretzelpieces · 24/01/2016 10:39

ain it's lovely to see you over here and congrats on your ovaries doing something, I have been following in my usual lurky way.

honey sorry for the vomit Flowers what you don't want to be top of the spreadsheet? You could do a mae and go storming past me and jelly! Grin

jelly that sounds very promising! More promising than mine I think. I'm getting a little bit of brown blood too but I think that and the pains could easily just be after effects of the sweep. Yours could be the real deal!

I'm loving the support viroids, please keep it up, these last days are going so s l o w l y. Somehow it is getting even harder to put up with the diabetes diet the less time I have left!

TriJo · 24/01/2016 10:50

Laptop half balanced on bump. Baby kicking hard enough to move said laptop. Happy 32 weeks to me :)

honeysucklejasmine · 24/01/2016 10:50

Pretzel at uni I lived with a girl who observed Ramadan. Towards sunset she used to pop a clock on the coffee table, and then line up all her favourite snacks. She'd also prepare all the ingredients for her dinner, get pans out etc.

As soon as sunset arrived, she would immediately scarf down the snacks with a look of bliss on her face, before cooking.

I imagine you doing something similar with donuts and chocolate. Grin

Thanks for your support with #vomitwatch. Makes it easier to know I can talk about it.

jellypi3 · 24/01/2016 10:50

Blood could be your plug coming away pret, that's encouraging!

It'd be hilarious if we got leap frogged again!

I might seriously ask for a sweep Tuesday at my mw appointment. Mostly to see how far along I am

pretzelpieces · 24/01/2016 10:58

Lovely to hear from you tri, how are things?

honey that is me exactly. I have all the treats I got for Christmas that I couldn't eat then set aside in a bag and I've told DP he's to get me a big box of chocs this valentine's day! I've also put brie, soft blue cheese and pate on the shopping list for this week!

jelly that's one of the reasons I'm really glad I had it - to know what is happening in there at the moment, it's all so unknown otherwise. But it's also given me a bit of confidence because I was an anxious wreck going into it and I coped with it fine anyway - hoping that's a sign I have hidden strength I can draw on in labour. I think it's also a good experience to have before labour to know what a VE is like, especially as you've never had a smear. Obviously up to you, but those were the positives for me!

jellypi3 · 24/01/2016 11:16

Did you have a trim down there before hand pret? I'm really body conscious and I've not even seen my foof for 4 months, let alone pruned it! Might get the strummer out tonight Wink

jellypi3 · 24/01/2016 11:17

Strimmer *

pretzelpieces · 24/01/2016 11:18

Lol jelly! No I didn't, it was entirely unexpected anyway as I was seeing the mental health midwife and she randomly offered to do it, but also I'm the one that hasn't shaved legs or underarms for five years so I'm happy to have body hair - I realise not everyone feels this way! Smile

KateBeckett · 24/01/2016 11:23

Ooh I've got my Pom poms out ready for you jelly and pretz ! Gx something is starting for you both.

Thank god I'm not the only irrational crier. Hasn't happened again since yet, but I'm just waiting...

pee my bump is a double layer aswell! Big fat belly bit and then smaller actual baby bit. Hmmm. Hoping it evens out soon.

Sorry you're still puking honey Flowers

Soooo think I'm definitely feeling babybeckett squirming around now. Tiny little pops Smile and I may have just spent £70 on sale items at loveitloveitloveit.com Blush

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 24/01/2016 11:39

Baby cheese came out at 3.2kg, then his weight plummeted to 2.9ish as he struggled to latch, and also no-one told me that you are supposed to keep waking up the baby to make him eat when they are first born. I just assumed they would cry when hungry, and eat if they were hungry and you put them to the boob. INCORRECT. He put on all his birth weight within a few days of leaving the hospital though, which is a big relief.

Someone asked if I had any interventions - I had to have an episiotomy because they wanted the cheese out immediately. Aside from that they had to do the hand up the vag thing to check all the placenta was out because they were worried about the bleeding.

jelly and pretz - ooooo!!!! fingers crossed!!! Period pains definitely exciting signs! Do try and get as much sleep as you can WHILE you can - anecdotally I've noticed that lots of my friends (and me obvs) went into labour in the small hours of the morning, meaning you miss a whole night's sleep off the bat. It's nature's extra little "sod you" Grin Grin Grin

I hope that Niff and all the other new mum's are doing okay! Fingers crossed to everyone on the verge of popping one out!!!

honeysucklejasmine · 24/01/2016 11:54

nature's extra little "sod you"

Ha! Nature is such a bitch!

Thursday my beef bourginon (spelling!!!) is simmering away in the slow cooker, smelling fab. Soon I shall prise myself off the sofa, get dressed and start peeling and chopping veg for roasting. (My FIL is a huge fan of roast parsnips. Mil doesn't really roast them... They aren't popular in the US so she kinda treats them like a giant white Carrot. When she does attempt to roast, its never quite right, bless her.)

Made my jelly (see FB for details of best jelly ever) and have a cake too left over from my baby shower last weekend. Must send DH out for cream and ice cream.

Babies movements are getting proper violent these days. No rib kicking, but blooming heck it's strong!

TriJo · 24/01/2016 12:25

Pretzel Not too bad - starting to get to the overstuffed sausage stage and feel like I can't quite get enough sleep to really refresh me. Have 5 weeks left in work now - I don't mind the work at the moment but it's the commute that's the real killer and mine isn't bad by London standards. Setting up a work-from-home arrangement this week so I can stay home if I feel like a PJ day need it.

Just recorded a video of my bump moving as my little guy kicks the crap out of me and sent it to my DH to freak him out a bit :)

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/01/2016 12:41

Mmm, well done honey I hope you like it too!

jelly and pretz I'll keep my gx for you with optimism, but also warn you that some people can be in that pre-labour state for aaaaaaaaaaages. I say this not to piss on any fireworks, but so you don't feel sad if things don't progress as speedily as you'd like. Anyways. Hopefully you'll both prove me wrong Smile

I braved the nail scissors on me foof for the last time methinks last night. Next time it'll be up to DH and his hair trimmer. Mostly I was was fed up of getting the san-pads stuck to my pubes Blush Grin

Ordered a new dressing gown (hopefully not of doom this time) and some second hand nightshirts this morning. Flip flops located. Hospital nearly ready to go. Got a couple of bottles of water and some snacks in there already.

Small top for you viroids, that you may have seen already. Take a bottle of water with a sports lid - it's loads easier to drink from them if you're stuck in your back, or with a baby glued to your boob.

pretzelpieces · 24/01/2016 14:06

tri "overstuffed sausage stage" haha yes that's what it should officially be called. Good news about potentially being able to work from home. I've tried to video my bump moving but she always stops as soon as I press record!

thurs oh yes, I'm well aware I'm being hopeful! But I am mostly just taking it as hopeful signs that I'm not going to go into the induction at complete square one, which the midwife said was positive. I've packed bendy straws as I'm a bit shit with sports top bottles Hmm

CarrotPuff · 24/01/2016 15:46

Yay gouda, congrats on meeting your boy! You got us really worried there, glad all is ok Thanks

Pretz I'm not an expert but if you're already a bit dilated I think they can just break your waters straight away, so you can skip the pessary stage which can last days as far as I've heard. Brown blood sounds v promising too, was it just blood or mixed with goo?

Sorry about vom honey, not long left now Thanks

Jelly your cramps sound v interesting too...

Not started my hospital bag yet... Although I was tempted to buy some mat pads yesterday.

fruitlovingmonkey · 24/01/2016 15:56

Hello viroids, I'm almost home from my weekend abroad. Bloody hell it was tiring. Also got asked if I was ok about 5000 times at the party.
Congratulations Gouda, glad you and the little cheese are doing well.
Honey your Ramadan story paints a lovely image. I can imagine all of us doing that with Brie, pate, gin, etc, but mostly Pretz.

fruitlovingmonkey · 24/01/2016 15:58

...and hi Ain nice to see you!

pretzelpieces · 24/01/2016 16:04

carrot I'm really hoping that's what they'll do, that would be great! The pessary and all that sounds like a right ball ache. It's just blood really, small amounts and not mixed with much goo, nothing like a show. Probably just after effects of the sweep. Well done for making a start on your hospital bag.

fruit time for a sunday nap? I'm tempted.

jellypi3 · 24/01/2016 18:12

I'm still adding and taking away from my hospital bag! Need to just leave it alone lol.

Yeah thurs I know it could be very early days yet :)

I'm deffo asking for a sweep Tuesday. Also had a "nap" at 1:30 today. Ive just got up...

fruitlovingmonkey · 24/01/2016 20:20

Would love a nap Pretz but I had plans tonight. Will make up for it tomorrow.
Just remembered your post Yoga, I think you should choose when you want her to visit and don't be afraid to assert yourself. I live abroad so have thought about this a lot. I've asked my parents to come after 2 weeks so that DH's paternity leave is over. If I hadn't said anything they probably would come straight away but I want to spend a little bit of time as a family before having visitors. We suggested that the in laws could come a month after the birth. They prefer planning in advance so they are leaving it even longer plus they have another, much more conveniently located grandchild arriving at the same time

justtheonethen · 24/01/2016 20:54

Another one here popping on lurking furtively to check on progress!

Well done to all the recent birthing viroids, very proud of you all. Feeling quite emosh about all your lovely babies.

dusts off fanjo flags and Pom Poms

Fanjo cupcake to honour jelly's hairy muff Grin

DP has just made us a raspberry leaf tea each. Do you think he's hoping it will strengthen his uterus? Grin
