Aww lovely scans ladies- thank you for sharing. They're so big and baby-looking in there now. But I feel like I've been pregnant for FOREVER. Never test 5 days before AF due it makes it seem even longer.
anna if I had put on a lb I would be doing a victory dance. Pregnancy just makes me eat. And eat.
My cold is making me feel like utter crap so have been trying not to post for fear of bringing down the excitable/happy tone ha. gnat I'm so with you on that one. I feel like I had a week or two of feeling good around 16 weeks before it went? Now exhausted/run down again Sad

primary did your Doppler come in the end?

With regards to buying newborn- everyone advised against buying for DD1. So I didn't. Even at 7lb15 she needed 'tiny baby' to fit her nicely. And when you have a lovely gorgeous newborn I wanted to have nice bits. (Not masses, but a few nice babygrows etc) and where I had none everything drowned her. So with DD2 I bought more newborn. It fitted her well even though 8 lb4. Also- just a point for any new mums- some shops sizing is v different. Eg I found Mothercare sizes really generous.

jem I personally wouldn't buy a cot over a cot bed as it will save you buying a bed until they are about 5.
scase good for you for talking to work- and for doing what makes you happy and booking your scan, you don't have to justify yourself to anyone Smile

Think I'm off to look at bras thanks ladies..

Good to know that I'm not the only one:
*Feeling tired / queazy again at times
*Put on quite a lot of weight- although the last week I don't seem to be able to eat a half a meal before feeling full.
*Having strange dreams.

Felt some strong baby movements this morning! Had a very energetic morning, this combined with drinking 2 glasses of fizzy squash ( squash made with sparkling water) I think got the baby going after a few days of just felling very subtle movement- was getting changed at the time and my partner actually saw my stomach move. ☺️

Im soooo excited!! I will post on here as soon as possible afterwards!! I cant wait to find out what my baby is Grin

Thankyou, I know I dont need to justify myself but when my own mum and 2 sisters tell me not to be "stupid" and pay for a private one I find it hard to not justify myself and shouldnt have too! Which is why they wont know until after Ive had it tomorrow Grinhaha

birdandbee · 06/02/2016 21:53

Scase- look forward to hearing of you are joining team pink or blue!

We had an early scan to find out gender too, friends and family asked us why we didn't just wait until the 20wk scan.... But when they saw the pictures we got they were amazes at how complete she was at only 17wks and most changed their opinion. I certainly feel I know abit about her now and feel a bond with her now that I didn't have before.
Enjoy!! ☺️

mascaraisamust · 06/02/2016 21:53

Ah so exciting Scase, we've been in a bubble all day!

It all feels that little more real now and the three week wait for the 20 week scan now feels in reach. Can't believe we are nearly halfway all Grin

Birdandbee, totally agree. I've napped today, eating like no tomorrow (hungry now in bed) and I have random sickness!

AnnaT45 · 06/02/2016 21:54

Please don't be jealous of the one pound. It will pile on now!!! I've not been good the last few days. A lot of unnecessary cheese... I've got some weddings that I'm part of coming up so trying to keep in check for those... I'm also really showing now so I don't feel slim!

Yah to the scans! So excited and it's lovely for you to find out the sex! Good luck for those having them tomorrow.

I'm about to go to bed. Another crazy Saturday night...

Im in the same house as a pregnant cat and shes always around or on me!

Cookiesandcoffee · 06/02/2016 22:29

indians My cat follows me everywhere (all the time) anyway!
Just had the Doppler out to lift my spirits and that it did. Had to keep chasing the little bugger around - he must have been on the move (not that I could feel a lot. Hmm) . Doesn't it just make you want to hold them even more?!

Ahh we are getting near the end of the thread already! Grin

Happy Sunday ladies - probs see you on the next thread. I'll see if I can do that on my computer later

Cheery1 · 07/02/2016 07:58
