Hi Klaptrap - you are of course welcome to join us, but this is the thread for babies expected in July. Please feel free to stay if you want to, but I thought it might be worth pointing it out before you make yourself too comfortable in this thread if you had actually intended to post in the June thread.

Cheery1 · 29/01/2016 11:09

Good thanks KT Just had 16 wk apt and heard baby's heartbeat so feeling much more relaxed again! Been lovely having a bit more energy over the last week too! How's yours been?

Cheery1 · 29/01/2016 11:34

KT - didn't answer your question! Due 9th July! As Thistle says, you're super welcome here but we're all ladies with July due dates, so you may want to be with June ladies.

beckslovestimmy · 29/01/2016 12:35

Hi Klaptrap I'm due 21/6 joined here as due date by LMP was nearer the end of June. 12week scan put me forward but everyone here is so lovely so I've stayed. I think jemimah Is due in June too. Welcome.

Hi mel/cheeky thanks for popping in to say hello! Glad to hear you're starting to feel a bit better even if still exhausted. Really hope you get your energy back soon- especially if TTC is around the corner Wink wishing you all the best and so pop in with any updates Smile

allthegood that's fantastic news -Yey.

scase let us know when it arrives and how you get on with it! According to my Amazon updates mine is due Monday. I. Want. It. Now.

Tired and hormonal today. But have weird hormonal nesting urges like the sudden want to paint rooms.. Hmm if only I had the energy hey...

ValerieTheHorse · 29/01/2016 14:11

Hey guys, it's FuzzyDucker here with a name change 😊

Anyone else getting cold sensitive pins and needles?! Just me then?! It started two days ago in my throat and mouth when I had a cold drink and has continued to get worse. It's anywhere on my body upon contact with something cold. So odd! What with that and my hips falling apart I'm thinking this pregnancy thing is definitely less glam second time around!

Hope everyone is well.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 29/01/2016 14:15

I feel the urge to confess my due date is 27 June - it got brought forward at scan as was originally 01 July!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 29/01/2016 16:14

Youandme fab news that your cervix has lengthened you must feel so much happier.

Elizarado I applied to another salon but I was honest & told them I'm pregnant so I doubt I will hear.

Wanting what a sweet photo. Congratulations again on a girl.

Photographer I've always seen couples with their toddlers when having a scan.

Anna we are moving on 24th March so plenty of time before baby arrives. Plus it's Easter weekend so we will hopefully get most of the unpacking done too.

Cookies no I didn't realise she was running groupons. I don't feel the need to offer groupons as I've been in the business 18 years so I'm confident in what I do & know that people are happy to pay full price with me.

Mascara I'm eating loads too and it's not particularly healthy. My legs are looking really chunky Sad

Feeling a few teeny movements again I think. It's stressing me out a bit as had loads maybe placenta has moved

Hey Cheeky/Mel - lovely to hear from you! Hope you get back to the fun part soon and have been looking after yourself.

And Valeriethehorse I for one would love to know the inspiration behind your MN names!

Have my glucose tolerance test at 0800 on Monday...on the one hand would be good to get the news out the way one way or other..but it will suck if I do have diabetes again this early on as it means zero/minimal sugar for another 5 months, bah!

i am going to eat my tangfastics tonight as a some kind of weird gesture to something.

HopesAndDreams15 · 29/01/2016 16:57

Wanting what a lovely pic and congrats on joining team pink.

Youandme great news about your cervix lengthening, what a relief.

Mel/cheeky lovely to see you, glad you're starting to feel better, you have been in my thoughts and good luck with ttc.

Mascara I'm having to eat really regularly too other wise I feel faint and sick.

Scase I'm currently fighting the urge to buy a Doppler. Will it stress me out if I can't find the HB? Will I even use it enough to warrant buying one?...can't decide!

Beaut sorry about the job, hope it gets better for you.

Waves to everyone else.

I've booked my gender scan today for next Saturday, I can't wait to find out, I'm so bloody impatient!

I've had a really crappy week, full of cold and really stressful work wise, can't wait to have done r&r this weekend...have a good one all.

mascaraisamust · 29/01/2016 17:13

Off out for dinner tonight, winner!! Had two lunches today Blush hungry now but don't want to spoil tea!

Thought I 'felt' something last night ladies, like a rumbling/popping feeling, ever, ever so slightly on and off low down as I was laid I bed... Could this be it??!

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 29/01/2016 18:12

mascara the popping is definitely something similar to what I've been feeling. The consultant I saw earlier this week said it's definitely baby as described it as "quickening" which is the first stages of movement you feel. Enjoy dinner Smile

hopes get well soon

Eli tangtastics are my fave you've got me craving them now

I've noticed such a positive turn in our posts since we've all entered the second trimester - I guess we 're all feeling "the glow" now Grin

Scase1firsttimemum · 29/01/2016 21:46

Ahh Mel/Cheeky so nice to see you pop back in! I hope youre energy comes back for TTC!Wink nice to see you are doing well, its lovely that you keep popping back in but hope its not too hard for you. Hope period comes soon for you :)

I feel bad using my OHs sisters doppler each time I go round there, I know Ill definitely be using it! It can stress you out but once you find it, its amazing Grin dont stress too much as we arent professionals like the midwives! But for me its a piece of mind if I ever get worried although not to rely on it even if I can hear heartbeat and am still worried I will still go to ER as they know what theyre listening for Smile

HopesAndDreams15 · 29/01/2016 23:17

Ah Scase don't, I had a big meal at 6pm and I'm starving now. Trying to get sleep but can't stop thinking about food Confused

primarynoodle · 30/01/2016 03:26

Hi everyone.. id luke to properly officially join you for a tentatively positive pregnancy experience from this point on!

Its been a whirlwind since august 2015 where i had my daughter at 14 weeks who was diagnosed with a terminal condition at the 12 week scan. I then concieved 2 months later and on nye had my 12 week scan for new baby and was given horrible odds of 1:13 for downs (also an ondiciator of something else horrible happening).

After an excruciating 4 week wait i had a detailed 16 week scan on thursday that looks as positive as it possibly can do and an amnio (in which the little monkey tried desperately to kick seven shits out of the needle!!). We got the results yesterdau and its NEGATIVE!!!

Not totally out of the woods.. still have the 20 week scan on 18th feb but everything is looking as good as it can and im ready to finally start trying to turn this pregnancy into a real and positive experience.

I know i have a lot of catching up to do but Grin and waves

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

Cheery1 · 30/01/2016 07:57

Blimey primary - you've really been through it your poor thing. So delighted for you that all looks positive now! Hopefully after that 20 wk scan you can relax and bloom! Xx

Cheery1 · 30/01/2016 08:02

scase - we had pizza at 10pm last night, which I inhaled Blush We went to the cinema on a date night it I was hangry as missed dinner, DH was tired and grumpy and then I'm thinking watching your wife stuff a pizza into her mouth in 30 seconds isn't very romantic.....I think I had a flash of the rest of our lives!!!

Good news is even though I'd muddled up the appointment, they fitted me in for 16 week apt yesterday and I heard the baby's heartbeat. So amazing and wonderful to hear it and get some reassurance things are ok Smile

Ellizardo · 30/01/2016 08:02

Primarynoodle - welcome! It is lovely to have you especially after all you've been through. Here's to our 20 week scans and the all clear. Certainly sounds like your little one has some spirit! X

Cheery1 · 30/01/2016 08:06

eliz really hope your diabetes test comes back negative. God, hard enough without wine, but no chocolate must be really tough! Having said that my friend has a great blog called thecakediaries which has lots of delicious, healthy low sugar sweet treats. She's a genius. May or may not be helpful!

Hello everyone else - sorry if I've missed anything, was in a right flap yesterday because of mixed up over appointments. Happy Saturday y'all

Ellizardo · 30/01/2016 08:24

Thanks Cheery I really hope it is too, but many thanks for your headsup on your friend. Will check it out now. Always good to swop in healthy recipes every once in a while anyway! Have a good weekend too and hope appts all sorted now?

Lucia82 · 30/01/2016 08:51

Welcome primary, and other joiners, hope everyone has a nice weekend X

birdandbee · 30/01/2016 08:56

Hello!
Hard to catch up when you haven't looked at the post for week but hope everyone is well/ ok / beginning to enjoy pregnancy!

Have had quite a great week pregnancy wise:

On Sunday my midwife forgot my appointment at my mother in laws (mother in law lives in same village as my mother in law)... Saw midwife walking her dog past the window so I went out and shouted down the road... Midwife feels bad so comes round to mother in laws after walking dog. Mother in law not best impressed with midwife suggesting she'd see me at hers cos she has to clean the house and needed reassuring that nothing embarrassing would be discussed......
Midwife only went and pulled my trousers down with no warning and got half of my unkempt lady bush out in front of said mother in law.... 😳😳 Got to hear the HeartBeat which was amazing - 144 beats per min- indicates a girl!

Wednesday - really started to feel movements without much effort, just with resting my arm or hand on my belly. Either side of sleep is the best time to feel movement at this stage according to friends and my midwife - which is when I feel movements.

On Thursday I had a 2d/3D scan - IM HAVING A GIRL!!!!Grin Scan was amazing.... Saw her waving her, opening her mouth. I'll attach a pictureSmile

Ah Bird that's all brilliant news! Congratulations on your little girl - how exciting !!!

Eliz appointments all sorted - it was all my fault and they were so lovely at the hospital, they're used to pregnancy brain failure! I'd basically written down 29th not 26th so turned up on the wrong day. Thankfully they saw me anyway and it worked out rather well as I saw a specialist midwife who was brilliant! Worrying thing is DH wrote down the wrong day too - think if he's got pregnancy brain too, we're stuffed!
