Ohh how can you go without knowing! Im too inpatient to wait till birth!! Good on you guys for waiting though, dunno if I could do it later on with other babies haha!

Seem to be getting heart burn more and more now a days its so annoying :(

I cant remember who said something about their bump not growing, I though mine hadnt since I took a photo at around 10 weeks ish, but I sort of put the photos together and seeing as I struggle to put my work shoes on and get out of a chair I would assume it has grown :L! It did look a bit bigger when putting the photos together, either that or my bump has grown into the chub I had :S

Off to a James Yorkston concert up here in Fife tonight. The cacahuete (Spanish for peanut and what we've taken to calling the baby) first hipster event! Only problem is that the concert starts at 8, which really means 9, and I turn into a pumpkin at 930 these days.

Pinseyboo38 · 18/01/2016 18:35

Thanks for all the congrats ladies.
It's such a relief after the nhs results!!
I didn't have a gender scan, found out through the blood test. I was adamant I didn't want to know but as its been so stressful and upsetting so far I needed something to help with the excitement and if I'm honest the bonding. I've felt to scared to be excited but now feel that will change xx

Pinseyboo38 · 18/01/2016 18:36

Beautician really sorry but don't know where the stats page is or how to add to it lol xx

Thistledew · 18/01/2016 18:58

I got my screening tests results back today. My NHS Trust test nuchal translucency and two serum markers, and will then do a DNA analysis of those results come back height. Really pleased as they are all very low risk. Smile

mascaraisamust · 18/01/2016 19:02

Pinsey congrats! I can't wait to find out!

The Gp is calling me back tomorrow about my vitamin D levels question, he didn't know the answer but said it was a very good question. I'll relax a bit now, could explain why I've been having awful headaches though! Think he is going to chase the hospital bloods for me so fingers crossed I could have the screening results back soon too. Good news for you Thistle.

Bluebell20 · 18/01/2016 19:08

That's great, cheers Beautician!

Congrats on the results, Thistle. Enjoy the gig, pulpi - hope you don't fall asleep!!

My eBay maternity jeans turned up today. Can't wait to give them a wash and dive into them... Mmmm...

pulpi · 18/01/2016 19:10

Great news, Thistle!

Pinseyboo38 · 18/01/2016 19:14

Fab news Thistle
I'm off to debenhams on Thursday to buy some maternity stuff as I'm sporting a great muffin top at the min lol x

HopesAndDreams15 · 18/01/2016 19:16

Fantastic news Pinsey, what a relief!

Youandme so sorry to hear about your dad, hope he has a speedy recovery.

Good luck in the new job Bluebell.

Beaut sorry your midwife appointment was disappointing. I had a trace of protein in a urine dip test when seeing my GP for sickness 2 weeks ago. He sent it off to the lab but didn't hear any more of it so must have been ok. Did concern me though as I had preeclampsia with DC1 :/

Woodsy I feel exactly the same, ridiculously tired and so full and bloated even when i've only eaten a small amount.

Great news Thistle Smile

birdandbee · 18/01/2016 19:53

Can I join in? Smile
I'm 15wks + 3 and due 8th July.... and expecting a very much awaited baby!!! Is anyone else still feeling nauseous? It had gone around 13wks but has made an appearance again this weekend with pounding headache..... so feeling alittle sorry for myself today. Showing more than I'd expected to at this age... Although much easier to know what to wear now o have a bump to dress rather than looking like I've just put on weight round my middle. Bought tickets to the baby show in feb- anyone else going??
Has anyone felt there baby move yet? I keep thinking I can feel flutters just after breakfast and when I first get into bed at night- but not sure if it's wind or my imagination BlushConfused

mascaraisamust · 18/01/2016 20:17

Eugh birdandbee, headaches ahoy here!!! Confused

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 18/01/2016 20:27

Welcome birdandbee I've been getting flutters as well, getting quite excited at the thought that it might be baby!

I've got tickets for the baby show (Sunday) I like a good bargain so I'm looking forward to it.

Jem01 · 18/01/2016 22:06

Welcome birdandbee I'm also due 8th July Smile I'm planning to go to the baby show too. That's reminded me to get a ticket!

I think I I feel baby move at night when I'm lying in bed, feels like very light flutters so exciting!

Congrats on the results Thistle you must be relieved. Pulpi enjoy the concert!

pulpi · 19/01/2016 07:34

Great concert, ladies. Highly recommend the new Yorkston Thorne Khan album.

Still waiting for the flutters, but I might need to wait for a few more weeks yet. In the meantime, I've broken out the maternity clothes because this bump is getting a bit obvious and normal clothes are a bit uncomfortable. May have gone a bit mad this weekend at ASOS...

Ellizardo · 19/01/2016 08:31

Just updated the stats.

No flutters here. Don't think I felt them until at least 22 weeks last time.

Hope everyone is keeping warm.

Beautician - finally getting my hair cut/wax & pedi today!

Ellizardo · 19/01/2016 08:32

Pulpi - my Asos obsession is ridiculous...I am actually fearful of going on that website, and I know 'my' delivery driver by name...

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 19/01/2016 10:36

Saw midwife this morning. Apparently the consultant obstetrician has reviewed my cervical scan results and I am to expect a phone call from her today or tomorrow to discuss them. So we will see, I suppose.

Appointment otherwise fine - no issues with urine or anything. Blood pressure on slightly high side of normal, but student midwife was struggling to take it and did it three times, so midwife thought that was probably the reason for that. She measured my stomach, but didn't try to find a heartbeat.

Lucy90 · 19/01/2016 12:15

Hello girls just checking in!
Felt the baby last night it was so exciting, I felt DD around this time too!
Finally had my risk assessment at work so all sorted there!
Finding it hard to keep up with the thread but congrats to everyone who has found out the sex! We find out 22nd Feb!!

bet9d · 19/01/2016 12:59

I also find out the sex on 22nd February, feels so far away I have a countdown on my phone haha!

pulpi · 19/01/2016 13:09

I have my risk assessment on Thursday, Lucy. Any ideas of what I should flag as potential issues??

Vikkijayne2507 · 19/01/2016 13:12

oo this thrad moves so fast, my ds has been a terror for sleeping or lack of, i o hope i have a slightly bette sleeper this time round but i doubt it, at least i know how bad it can get and that things do get better.

I know the sex btw someone was asking, they were very sure its another boy :) save a bundle on clothes hehe
i think ive felt very faint flutters but very rarely, but this time i do have an posterior placenta so hopefully will feel definite kicks earlier than last time

Cookiesandcoffee · 19/01/2016 14:08

Welcome birdandbee
Lots of flutters but also windy/digestive flutters also Blush
As soon as I get paid I now want to raid ASOS maternity. January is the longest month. Ever.
Starving and exhausted today. Keep eating Hot Cross Buns with lots of butter...

Spoke to consultant. I am to go to hospital tomorrow at 1000 to speak to her about having a stitch put in. Stitch won't be put in tomorrow but it will be done quite soon I think.

It's good that something will be done, but really scary!
