Haha! And we're supposed to be at the easiest stage of pregnancy!
I watched a program about designer babies a while ago and a surrogacy agency owner in L.A said a surprising number of celebs faked their pregnancies and hired a surrogate instead. Quite frankly I don't blame them!

nehagarg I haven't had a cold (though think I'm brewing one now, just in time to go back to work on monday, great). You sound like you've been proper ill though- no fun at all.

I have no idea how some women sail through pregnancy and actually enjoy it! I'm just so knackered still! Though we do have a pretty crazy new years eve planned- on the sofa at home watching a film with a chinese takeaway, then chances are bed before midnight

nehegarg I've also had random vomiting. Not often mind you but it's like my mind suddenly decides enough is enough and I cough, then bleugh.
Totally gross.
I think mine is an over sensitive gag reflex interacting with the coughing

I don't tend to feel sick; it gets me suddenly too. Not so much now but still occasionally. It was odd things too that would trigger it - walking towards my house was one thing that set it off! Now it's when I start to feel hungry or I'm anticipating food. This makes my throat feel like it's tightening and then I want to be sick. It's starting to wear off now and I'm 16 weeks.

Happy new year everyone! Cant believe its the year we all have babies. This is my first and I still feel like a baby myself. The other day midwife gave me a document to sign which said "Mother's Signature" and I worried that I will have to send this to my mum to sign before realising I was the mother they meant.

No resolutions for me. Too tired to make and keep promises to myself.

Osirus Mindful its horrible isnt it? I dont even feel like I want to be sick so no notice to get myself to the toilet. Have started sleeping with a bucket next to me, just in case. So glamarous! Hope you two feel better soon.

I'm going to try to swim more (in lieu of running as I have got pelvic girdle pain) but that is more of a 'now I'm no longer regularly throwing up' resolution which happens to coincide with New Year!

I'm a much happier bunny today as I managed a 40 minute run - did it first thing on an empty stomach (and most importantly, after only a sip of water) - bladder was still uncomfortable for most of it but at a level I could bear, so I think that shorter, pre-breakfast runs may be the way to preserve my sanity! Still hoping that this baby shifts position soon though...

My New Year's resolutions are to get back to work (have been signed off since October with hyperemesis) and to have a baby! Achievable I hope.

Anyone else suffering from pelvic girdle pain? I have this really achy pain really low down which I had last time but much later in my pregnancy. The only way I can describe it, is the feeling that someone has kicked me in the fanjo and it hurts getting in and out of the car etc. anyone else?
