Hi princess last time I bought a long racer back running top from Nike I think. Lasted me the whole pg and in fact I have been wearing it ever since!!!

I just didnt care that my massive sports bra could be seen poking out all over the place (I have 34 FF chest so its something I am used to!)

I liked the running tops because they are so long and therefore lasted the whole pregnancy

I used to wear it with some sweaty betty yoga pants which fold over at the top. by the end I didnt bother folding them over!!!!

No one ever had a flash of bump as I was always nicely covered :)

the ones I had were similar to these:

Thanks for the welcome ladies.

belleboo that's a great nuchal and great odds. amy so sorry it's sounds like you've had such a worrying time, fantastic that the cvs came back clear. The wait is agony. When do you get your heart scan results?

That's good advice dolly, thanks. It's stupid, I've been for so many scans and always have that many moment when I want to run out of the waiting room and never come back, somehow I think not having the scan will somehow change the outcome!

torfhinn you've got a very good memory! That's very kind of you. It's almost exactly two years since I had the terrible nuchal scan with the first so it's taken me a while to get here but hoping beyond hope this is it now.

Sooooo, is anyone else struggling with constant ravenous hunger still? This is me awake for my usual middle of the night snack. This is quite late for me, it's normally about 3am. It's getting really really tedious!!

amysmummy12345 · 20/12/2015 07:27

Thanks monten it has been a massive worry! The B'ham women's hospital have been amazing though. They've arranged a 16 week scan for us just to check baby's progress on 30th Dec, then we've got a super deluxe 20 week anomaly scan that includes heart scan on 27th Jan. The waiting game is so stressful, but the cvs tests have hopefully dismissed the main syndromes so we're remaining hopeful and positive. You've had such a hard journey to get to where you are now, I hope this pregnancy is uneventful and had a happy conclusion for you xxx

Lovelybeano · 20/12/2015 08:24

I have family staying over so I haven't been checking in, I'm popping in to say I absolutely love my mum - she came down with a pair of maternity jeans for me because she knows I've been struggling to find any, oh my goodness I am so comfy - at 14 weeks however I look pregnant when I put them on, a bit worrying so early on but I suppose with my 3rd baby, my body has already been stretched so will just pop out lol another 5 days to keep the secret till we tell the kids then everyone else can know eeekkk exciting times!!
Hope everyone is doing ok, I'll try to catch up on the posts I've missed over the past few days Grin

LouLou030783 · 20/12/2015 09:07

Beano it's my 3rd and I feel exactly the same. I feel like if I keep growing at this rate I'll explode lol.

Anyways I came on here for a wee quick rant I was called naive in a post which is fine I genuinely don't give a flying feck what others think but what bothers me is time and time again I see people attackin other people wether it be names or because they asked what another person deemed a stupid question. I thought MN was meant to be a support network sometimes it just feels and looks as if some are witches round a cauldron X

mrslewis2015 · 20/12/2015 09:52

Welcome monten so sorry to hear of your past pregnancies, I hope this one is completely uneventful apart from lovely flutters and a happy birth!

beano and loulou this is my first but I'm already huge! I think because I bloat so much with my IBS that I'm already pre-stretched! Been in mat wear for weeks and got a very bumpy bump! Will post a pick! Glad to know I'm not the only one feeling a bit baffled at how Big I might get at this rate!!

Eastend2015 · 20/12/2015 09:54

Mindful bear- good advice on exercise stuff, I've been looking too.

LouLou- sorry to hear that people have been rude to you. I have been surprised by how rude some people are in their responses on the pregnancy threads.

Eastend2015 · 20/12/2015 09:56

P.s MrsLewis you look great! I'm not far behind in terms of bump size and have been in mat wear for weeks too!

LouLou030783 · 20/12/2015 10:24

Mrslewis u look great, xx

becky140290 · 20/12/2015 11:03

Heya :) I haven't posted in ages and ages! Had my scan yesterday and measuring at 12 weeks 2 day when I thought I was 14 weeks. So nearly two weeks behind! Edd is 30th June so one of the last ones x

ifigoup · 20/12/2015 11:14

Does anyone want to speculate about the sex of this 13-weeker? If what I think is the nub is in fact the nub then it looks flattish, but I'm not sure I'm even looking at the right bit!

MollieRos · 20/12/2015 11:19

Lovely bump mrslewis! And I love that dress too!

And great scan picture Becky Smile

Monten you have had a really tough time of it, as others have said, no wonder you're finding it difficult! I have no excuse- this is my first and no problems so far, but I'm finding it impossible not to worry. I'm hoping that maybe once I'm into the third trimester with a huge bump and feeling the baby moving round loads it'll be easier to relax into pregnancy a bit.

Monten · 20/12/2015 11:57

amys great that you are being so well looked after, makes such a difference. scans are so detailed these days if they couldn't pick up any heart issues on the 12w scan it means it's looking very good.

mollie I'm the same, desperate to feel those flutters! Although I have an anterior placenta so apparently it will be a while.

iamdivergent · 20/12/2015 12:08

Here's my bump pic at 14 wks

PrincessPunzie · 20/12/2015 12:16

Thanks so much MindfulBear - may I ask how many sizes you went up in the tops? That's what's stumped me most as I don't want to buy loads of tops then find that they only actually fit me for a few weeks and aren't much good post-pregnancy (or conversely that they're absolutely massive until I'm eight months gone!)

Also thanks all for the tights recommendations - good old M&S, they're my favourite for regular tights so I have no trouble believing they would do the best maternity ones! I despise tights but it's hard to get through a British winter without them!

I couldn't see a nub on my 12w week scan at all so I'm afraid I'll be no help! I tried to apply the skull theory to my pics but the skull looks different in each one.

dollydaydream84 · 20/12/2015 12:20

Monten - it is definitely not stupid at all given your history it is totally understandable! The constant hunger has died down slightly (13+2) but I have been sick more this week than ever but overall feel better.

With regards to maternity jeans/leggings, I find them too big at this stage and hate the cloth "over the bump" bit but find under the bump worse so I'm still in normal leggings which are getting progressively tighter. Anyone found any good maternity tights yet?

As I am size 18, I still just look as fat as ever though I can feel the bump hardening. I didn't get a really good bump until 24 weeks last time :( though everything has popped much faster this time.

Lovely scan and bump pictures folks! :)

Betty79 · 20/12/2015 12:41

Congrats on the scans ladies, I've had a busy weekend and finally made it back to the gym today and feeling good for it. I don't want to jinx it but I feel like I'm getting my energy back. 15 weeks today Smile I'm still wearing normal leggings and clothes but also have some maternity jeans if I'm feeling bloated. I also bought a size bigger normal leggings and jeggings the other day as I think they will last me for a bit until I have to wear mat stuff. I figure I'll be in a size plus clothing following the birth too for a while so they will get their use.

This is my 15 week bump pic

TattedPixie · 20/12/2015 13:37

Scan tomorrow! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Been feeling slightly nauseous today and have got a headache the size of America!
Getting peed off with my brother, he keeps smoking around me, which makes me feel sick as anything.
Anyone have any smokers that won't stop around you?

TomboyGirl · 20/12/2015 14:51

Lovely scans and baby bump pics ladies!

17caterpillars1mouse · 20/12/2015 15:09

Anyone feeling anxious about the future. I feel like I'm failing at pregnancy because i still always feel sick at 16 weeks (not had one day in 10 weeks where I haven't at least felt sick for the majority of the day). Dh is getting annoyed at me now and says i need to man up because the majority of pregnant women do way more than I've been doing and I should be full of energy. I just feel unwell all the time. I know his resentment comes from me previously being depressed and had to lean on him so much and he now feels he's having to do the same and its unfair. He's also been brought up in a family where you just get on with it no matter what. I just feel like I'm failing at everything though, had to give my career up this year due to stress and depression, now I'm failing at being pregnant, feel I'll probably fail at parenthood too.

Keep having fleeting thoughts that baby would be better off with dh without me around or if I died during child birth baby would have a lucky escape.

Just feeling so low today. Just need to man up

BabySocks · 20/12/2015 16:02

Sorry to hear that caterpillars you need support at this time and you definitely can't help feeling sick. Can you sit down at a calm time and explain how bad you feel about it and ask for support in growing his baby? Is it your first, sorry I can't remember.

Also some people have had help from their GP, can you make an emergency appointment?

TomboyGirl · 20/12/2015 16:08

Tatted I'd have hoped your brother would be more considerate!

Belleboo23 · 20/12/2015 17:10

Ifigoup upload your pic on ingender they are really clued up on the theories like skull and nubs. I'm not sure the pic shows it or not but they will tell you

MadrigalElectromotive · 20/12/2015 17:18

Caterpillars your DH sounds like he's being an idiot. Pregnancy is bloody hard work and you are doing a great job. I will be 17 weeks tomorrow and I am still horribly nauseous and unable to go into my kitchen without gagging so you are not making a fuss about nothing and you don't need to woman up. Hope you can get some support soon. Thanks

As for me, we had a scan to find out the sex of the baby today and we are having a little girl. Xmas Smile Very excited, although pretty surprised - I had convinced myself we were having a boy. Going to tell our families in a few days when we see them for Christmas.

NiceOneSquirrel · 20/12/2015 17:23

Welcome to those recently joining us. Lovely scans and bumps. I have a definite bump but I guessed I probably would being baby 3.

monten that sounds like you've had a super tough journey to get where you are. Fingers crossed for a smoother six months. We're all here to chat.

caterpillar I'm sorry you're feeling so low. Pregnancy is painted out to be this wonderful time of excitement but in reality it's god damn tough and I can guarantee a majority do not enjoy it one bit.

Still suffering with nausea immensely here as the anti sickness meds don't help that, just the actual vomiting. Due back at work soon and really need to since my company sick pay has run out.

Would people be interested in a Facebook group too, eventually? I find it much easier to respond to specific people and share photos etc. Obviously its less anonymous so something for the future. My October 2013 bus moved to Facebook near the end of our pregnancies and it's been an amazing support.
