Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Cripes, HR/Payroll just love to be as helpful as possible, hey Pud?

Pay roll gave me a breakdown but that is before tax, NI, student loans and pension contributions!

Why would they give you all that info without taking tax etc into account?! RARGH! Can you not try to make them work it out for you?

Thanks for the wise words re: bum. Frankly I'll try anything to avoid a finger going up there (and the lactulose/all bran combo is more than doing the trick of loosening things up). I think it is most likely a tear.

I hope minifeather gets a move on - I want to feel him/her a bit more! Yes,YB - what I felt was like popping air! (And just realised I haven't welcomed and congratulated you yet....big congrats and lovely to see you on this board!)

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/12/2015 12:04

Oh hell, these sneezes are really testing my pelvic floor!

KateBeckett · 14/12/2015 12:12

Morning viroids.

I fell off the thread Blush

Sorry for the self indulgent post, have been avoiding the thread for days hoping I'd snap out of it but I'm just getting worse so going to let it all out and get a hooyah.

I can't stop crying. If I'm not crying I'm trying not to. I've managed to convince myself that something has gone horribly wrong and my scan next week is going to be awful because then I'll find out what's gone wrong.

It doesn't feel like normal worry. I can't convince myself I'm just a bit worried, I can't stop thinking about it and I don't feel normal.

I don't know what to do.

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/12/2015 12:20

Kate I haven't any personal experience of what you're going through, but a visit to a sympathetic GP would be what I suggest.

I'm sorry you're so blue, but you cannot continue like this the rest of your pregnancy Thanks

oneyorkshirepud · 14/12/2015 12:28

I agree with Thursday Kate, it sounds like you need some support from your mw/gp. Hormones can do funny things to you and you have not had a particularly wast first tri either. Don't beat yourself up and get an appointment ASAP for done help. Have you told DP how you feel?

SQUEEZE Thursday!

oneyorkshirepud · 14/12/2015 12:28

Wast? I meant easy!

MollyBloomYes · 14/12/2015 12:53

Kate for sure gp and if they're not sympathetic go to another who is. Antenatal depression is a thing and it is becoming more widely recognised. There is support out there if that's what it is, sorry you're feeling this way Thanks

Yeah I was but not very exciting. I was a hideous (well not really but you know what I mean) child actor with Italia conti agency then carried on after I left school for a while with rep/profit share type stuff though I also love a big old musical! Eventually decided that feast or famine life wasn't for me even though I love the job and wanted security to have children etc so got me a degree and went into teaching. Miss it greatly and hoping to find some amateur groups round here once baby can be left for a bit.

Sky Blush love her eyes, wish I had them! Can't go full pixie as will look like an 8 yr old boy but will of course put results up once I get it done! Bit frustrating, can see what I want in head but can't find example! Oh well, got a week!

I felt movements around 14/15 weeks but could easily see how they'd be mistaken for wind they are like little pops at first!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/12/2015 13:01

Molly pro tip for making your eyes look amazing

TriJo · 14/12/2015 13:51

Feathered Flutters around 16 weeks here and first proper kick at 18 weeks. Placenta is anterior-high and almost everything has been either low or at the sides, still is at 26+1. Little man is very territorial, he kicks like mad if anything is pushing in on my bump - be it my laptop, DH's arm, the elbow of some ignorant cow on the tube, me on the rower at the gym at 19 weeks...

CountryGal4 · 14/12/2015 14:07

Oh yes Thursday! I call it risking a sneeze at the moment. Who knew a sneeze could be so exciting!

FeatheredTail · 14/12/2015 14:09

...should I be worried that I really haven't felt much/anything?? Starting to get psyched out about my 20 week scan next wednesday and that the worst has happened.

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/12/2015 14:09

It's the chain of sneezes that terrify me country, I need to BRACE!

Peenut · 14/12/2015 14:09

Hello Bastard!Congrats and nice to see you here :) I remember you and your live stock scanner, weren't we bringing it to the Viroid TTC commune?

Kate get yourself to the docs and have a chat about it all –maybe the one you saw that was nice about MS? You've defo not had an easy time this tri. Maybe doing some relaxing yoga or similar might just calm you down a bit/distract you until next week. Fingers crossed all is OK for you at the scan, remember.

Feathered Oh no! Don't worry though, it's bound to be something preggo related rather than anything sinister. My mate had 'the Jeremies' so bad she couldn't sit down –EEEEK! (I assume you mean the dreaded roids?)

LOve the hair Mermaid. I'm finding this 'you can't do or eat anything' advice a bit frustrating. I coloured my hair last week. Maybe ask the hairdresser what she'd recommend?

NHS advice on the internet is a bit vague –just says many women choose not to colour their hair in the first tri. Why???? No explanations or warnings about the actual consequence?

I was refused Bazuca That Verruca in Boots last week –was told I could have paracetamol, which doesn't help my minging foot. Want to get rid of said growth on foot before I make my child warty :) AND on the info leaflet for Bazuka it says you can use it in pregnancy, I know because I went to the chemist next door to Boots and bought some!

Went to a mates house with cats at the weekend and had to leave because I couldn't breathe! I'd usually take anti histamine tablets, nasal spray/eye drops before entering a house with cats in. I didn't due to being upduffed and I've been a right mess for two days, I can now breath again but am really snuffly. Off to the doctors tomorrow, probably for a chat about how I can't go to people's houses who have cats and may take paracetamol for windpipe closure type symptoms!

Obvs don't want to do anything to harm my bean but at the same time, surely it's worse to be breathless/faint/knackered from lack of sleep caused by bunged up nose.

Peenut · 14/12/2015 14:11

Sorry Kate, I meant to finish that sentence, remember chances are all will be good next week.

FeatheredTail · 14/12/2015 14:15

Kate please talk to your midwife, just give the surgery a call and see if it's possible to talk. The first thing mine says to me is "How do you feel IN YOURSELF?" so I think they will be tuned into emotional dips/depression.

I felt pretty down/weepy about 13-16 weeks as I still wasn't feeling that great - if you've had a hard first trimester it can bring you down, especially if you've not been seeing friends as much (I couldn't - no energy/sickness) or doing the things you enjoy (eating/drinking/walking - all out). Everything crossed for your scan next week.

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/12/2015 14:19

Just lost my post, grrr. Will try and remember what I was wittering on about...
Oh Feathered Flowers for your bum troubles! I felt a couple of flutters between 15 and 16 weeks, then nothing for over a week and now almost every day but not quite. Can't wait for regular movements. It might be that your baby has moved or the placenta is blocking you from feeling movement, don't worry.
Kate do you have anyone to talk to in real life? Sounds like you need to address your worries with someone.
I'm on my third day of being confined to bed/ the sofa. Now I'm coughing up snot, sexy. Current entertainment is the gchq Christmas puzzle.
Molly I think you would really suit a pixie cut. I used to love the movie The Greatest Store in the World. Check out Dervla Kirwan's hair in that. Disclaimer: it's been about 15 years since I last saw it, might watch it today though!
Yay for mat leave Jelly, so close!
Come on baby Pud and baby Candy! Molly I'm not sure if you want to go into labour or you are waiting for the c section.
shakes pom poms awkwardly by sides and awaits instruction

honeysucklejasmine · 14/12/2015 14:43

I didn't feel movements until 22 ish weeks reliably. Now baby has quiet days (odd whack here and there) and busy days (constant wriggling). I feel vibrations now and then... I suppose that's hiccups?

jellypi3 · 14/12/2015 15:19

feathered you could have an anterior placenta which means you won't feel movement until later on due to the placenta cushioning the movement. My first movements literally felt like wind, and then they progressed into soft pulses and just got stronger. Remember baby feather is still very ickle. If you're concerned could you afford a private scan for reassurance (I did this at 18 weeks because I was worried about a number of things).

5hell · 14/12/2015 15:28

feathered i dont think you need to worry about movements. i was worried about movements (or lack of) at about your stage too...and beyond, and yesterday! I started feeling a few questionable kicks 21w onwards, which gradually got more convincing, although still very sporadic. Still have days of almost nothing (yesterday) then my mind is put at rest again with plenty of post-cake, post-lunch and post-dinner thumps when I'm back at work sat on my arse! As i predicted now i am feeling him, i just worry about not feeling him!!!!!!!!!!!

are you finding out boybee/girlbee at your scan?

pee the only thing i found that reliably fixed a verucca was moving house!

MollyBloomYes · 14/12/2015 15:31

Ooh sky i always used to do green around eyes, might have to get back into it! Never wear make up, never go anywhere anymore but sense that'll need to change!

Fruit at this stage I'm so uncomfortable I'd happily take going into labour and take my chances as to whether they can get me into c section on time. And if they can't then they need to give me a lot of drugs to remove the fear. Pompom away! Disclaimer: I probably would still be very very frightened and am perhaps letting gammy hips overrule head at this stage!

pretzelpieces · 14/12/2015 15:43

feathered I didn't feel movements until 21 weeks. Now she beats me up all the time. Smile

kate I had a lot of anxiety early on too. Seeing all was well on the scan helped me massively, but I was also getting support from my mental health team, so definitely speak to your midwife or GP so they can support you. Flowers

I've forgotten what else I was going to say cause I'm a useless lump. Flumped on the sofa after work meeting and running errands all over town. Zzz

jellypi3 · 14/12/2015 15:46

in fact i'm having a day of few monements, doesn't help me when im trying to focus in work!!

oneyorkshirepud · 14/12/2015 16:15

Urgh, I hate the responsibility of monitoring movements clearly mature enough to be a parent, it is a good excuse to eat chocolate though, just to 'check'. Grin

Molly I know it is pretty late in the game now but is it worth downloading sone hypno tracks (natal hypnotherapy is good!) to try to deal with some of the fear? You can use the techniques for CS too.

oneyorkshirepud · 14/12/2015 16:25

P.S. Midwife Cat is going mental and won't leave me alone. This is clearly a sign

Smile
jellypi3 · 14/12/2015 16:25

i tend to just end up poking my belly randomly in work pud. People must think i'm mad and possibly cruel
