OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
kiwibella · 10/01/2007 18:41

evenhope... good to see you back I had a fleeting moment of realisation the other day when Callie's dh posted their news!! Now, my head is firmly back in the sand .

sexkittyinwaiting · 10/01/2007 18:42

Rainbowgirl you can come whenever you like. I must warn you however that if you are not alrady deranged (and you don't sound like it) you will be after any stint with us .

Right off to look at that thread now.

kiwibella · 10/01/2007 18:44

sorry, yes Jay it did - eventually. I don't know why it took so long. I had a good look around at all the links before forwarding it to my sister. I liked the Mother Goose game idea (nice to have waiting on the table... especially with teachers!!) where you have lines from well-known nursery stories and the guests have to guess the story.

foxabout2pop · 10/01/2007 19:19

Kiwi just posted on your thread - what a brill idea (might just copy you myself!!)

Evenhope - good to see you back on here - hows it going?

OMG I feel too knackered to even think or chat. I've now got so tired and immobile

See you all tomorrow, I'm off to my bed to snuggle up with a tasty...book

32+3 (boy)

AmieR · 10/01/2007 19:20

No internet at work... how shall I cope?

Evening all.

Lunar - I am indeed still up for a splash tomorrow night... I hope I can still fint in cossie too... should be interesting! LOL

Stretch marks.. I thought I'd practiced stretching my skin enough through the lasst 9 years... but obvioulsy the wrong bits! As I've developed the biggest ones ever at top of bump! I wear them with pride tho!

foxabout2pop · 10/01/2007 19:22

Rainbow Hi - nice to see you back in circulation - good luck with the move

I suggested we all have a picnic during the summer hols. Actually two:

one in my garden in west London

the other near Kitty in Brighton (there's a great children's sandpit/pool/play area down there)

Please do say you'll come to both !!

Our babies will be 5 months old by then

TheBlonde · 10/01/2007 19:28

Right ladies need your opinion on something...

Should I go away on a girlie weekend at 34 weeks? It's about 4/5 hrs out of London
Good idea or mad idea??

DollyPopsOut · 10/01/2007 19:55

Kiwi, I think you were the model of restraint on your thread. Some people, bloody hell, do they ever think before they open their mouths? If I saw something which wasn't for me, I'd just scroll past the thread rather than piss on someone else's chips, as we say round here. I think Rainbow also put her point across most articulately. I went out to dinner at 38 weeks and got pressies. Didn't really call it anything, had a great time, few glasses of wine, talk about everything inc babies, thoroughly recommend it. Am having the girls over to DOlly towers this time. Can't wait.

Blonde - I'd say see how you feel on the day myself. i'd accept the invitation with the proviso that you might have to pull out if something happens but other than that I'd go. Providing I felt well, I'd be first on the train!

Might have a look at the exercise thread but can't see it happening here.

kiwibella · 10/01/2007 19:59

I'm completely hedonistic Blonde and say GO!! I will be missing our girls weekend this year because at 38 weeks - damn well tempted tho .

Given the distance, can you check your health with your doctor. You might need plans in place, just in case .

Piffle · 10/01/2007 20:16

bit mean that other thread, when you're planning a night out to celebrate your impending motherhood...
Hey are we doing a due date buddy thing for the last few weeks by the way?
I mean it's such a long way between the 1st of March and the 31st after all, and ever day at 36 weeks onwards seems like a year.
Quite nice to compare those due on the same date.
or has someone else mentioned this already and as usual I'm last to latch on ?

divastrop · 10/01/2007 20:18

theblonde-go for it!34 weeks isnt that far on,and its not like you're leaving the country.

moss-its just a follow up with my consultant after the hospital stay the week before last.my bp always goes up at the ante-natal clinic so im taking dd2 with me so they have to let me go home.

kiwibella-i will have a look at your thread in a mo.im curious how an innocent subject like that can kick off

rainbow-i was with aol at my last address and they told me it would take 20 days to switch the broadband connection over,so i told them where to stick the broadband connection and rang tiscali.i had to change my hom e phone number cos aol had put a marker on the line, and then i was told it would take 2 weeks.but i rang a few times to see when it would be up and running and i think it was just over a week in the end.

i hate washing machines.my one was causing me to swear so often i decided to get another one,but a 2nd hand decent make rather than a cheap but new lump of crap.i got it yesterday and its bloody faulty.im going to the place i got it from tomorrow and say i want a refund or a replacement.

sexkittyinwaiting · 10/01/2007 20:26

sexkittyinwaiting · 10/01/2007 20:28

Why did I write buddy's? Silly woman, meant buddies

TheBlonde · 10/01/2007 20:54

Thanks guys
I really want to go and see everyone but right now just making it to the High St is a major effort
My mates are all docs though so I'll be in safe hands if baby comes early

divastrop · 10/01/2007 20:59

AmieR · 10/01/2007 22:34

here's the link

We need to keep an eye on the posts too - nearing 1000, again

eidsvold · 11/01/2007 04:17

don't forget flannelette pjs as she is due 30th

think she might be away at the moment so that is why we haven't heard from her.

ohh picked up the moses basket today - off to buy new mattress tomorrow. Just need to sew lining for basket.

Dd2 is being moved out of the back bedroom and into dd1's room tomorrow - two big girls together - so no doubt that will take a while for them to settle down. Figured do it now before dd1 starts back at kindy etc so she is not too tired.

Then I will have the baby's room to get ready - be able to put furniture back in and we will almost be ready!!! Just a few things off layby and we are done.

I need to - so tired and hot and uncomfortable at the moment. THis baby seems to like grinding its head in my pelvis and it bloody hurts...... think I have a touch of SPD - nothing like others have but enough to make me cranky some days.

LunarSea · 11/01/2007 06:29

Amie - I'll meet you in the reception bit about 6.45-6.50? I'll pinch ds's kit bag so I'll have a dark blue bag with an Alton Towers logo on it. And probably a light blue waterproof if the weather hasn't bucked up a bit by then!

3rdTriMossTer · 11/01/2007 06:39

Morning all,

Have just scan-read all posts and will write properly when I'm in work and meant to be getting on with far less interesting stuff.

Something terrible has happened this morning, something awful..........

....... I have run out of chocolate chip muffins!

Noooooo!

kiwibella · 11/01/2007 08:09

Moss!!!

Little Miss 10yr old is winging her way back from New Zealand at the moment - arriving at 11:30am after nearly 4 weeks away being totally spoiled with her grandmothers (x2) love and attention!!
