Thanks girls. Appreciate your warm comments. I'm feeling so very exhausted. I'm more worried, not only because of the blood, but also because my symptoms of nausea, very sore breasts and going to loo a lot have totally disappeared. All I have is complete exhaustion, looking very pale and cramps in my thigh which I often get when period is due. My boobs seem to be deflating and are nowhere near as painful.

At 5 weeks 2 days, it's far too early to even scan I think so it really is a waiting game. Even with blood tests I'm not sure they can tell much. Please continue to pray and send warm hugs!

mascaraisamust · 17/11/2015 18:41

Hi all, can I join? Found out quite early at 10dpo and ive been lurking ever since but not plucked up the courage to join.

Was pregnant in August with my first and mc at 8 weeks, got my bfp second cycle after mc. I'm not allowing myself to get carried away this time with my thoughts just yet as I'm determined to get past the 8 week mark. On progesterone this time too. Booked in for an early scan the week before xmas to put my mind at ease and hopefully see a heartbeat.

Edd 23rd July - #1. Symptoms sore, bloated at times apart from that nothing which makes me nervous but it's very early days at 4+3!

Hope you're all ok x

EllieJayJay · 17/11/2015 18:47

Sending you a big hug Mel I am keeping everything crossed for you sweet heart X if it's any comfort my symptoms disappeared almost for a day and then came back with avengnance xx

I also thought they could scan at 5 weeks if normal ultra sound doesn't pick up they can do an internal scan not sure if that's just private or EPU - but it can be done.

I know it's a crazy thing to say as your undoubtedly worried sick, but try your hardest to stay calm as you don't know yet and it could all be ok X and I really hope it is x

Melvali - everything crossed for you xx

Ellie - I think I'm going to tell my Ma & Pa tmw night over Skype (theyre currently visiting relatives in Oz) unless of course the comp screen features my 25 cousins and assorted others! Then I'll wait till they're back. My oh is much more circumspect and will wait til scan on 4 Jan, assuming it's all healthy & happy, before telling his folks.

I'm at a pub quiz tonight...really making the not drinking thing hard for myself but drove here so that can be my handy excuse!

Ellizardo · 17/11/2015 18:55

Ps Jem - we're scan and hospital buddies! Hope it goes well.

Loki17 · 17/11/2015 18:57

Keeping everything crossed for you Mel xxx

RoTo72 · 17/11/2015 19:03

Honestly Mel I was exactly the same last week. Didn't even feel pregnant. They came back two days later. I'm not promising everything will be fine but letting u know iv been there and fingers crossed everything is fine with me xx

Fourormore · 17/11/2015 19:03

Oh Mel, what a worrying time. I hope you get some answers soon xx

EllieJayJay · 17/11/2015 19:05

telling my mum was a good move, means I can talk about it for hours if I want as she's desperate for her first grandchild :) DP is very supportive but sometimes he does glaze over when I talk baby for several hours :)

Although when I said about going to mothercare he wanted to come along and when I said I want to look at little things his response was "that would be nice you can even cry a little bit if you want" was having a cry at everything two days X

Hi mascara. Congratulations

Magickal · 17/11/2015 19:27

Hello... I seem to have had an accident and am pg Hmm Due date apparently 18th July 2016. Am only 5 weeks pg and I'm nervous as I miscarried in May (again, an accident... I know, I know, I'm an idiot).

Loki17 · 17/11/2015 19:50

Is anyone else suffering from bloating? I'm 5+4 and I look 4 months pregnant! I'm struggling to hold my tummy in. Is there anything I can do? Please don't say stop eating crisps Grin

Magickal · 17/11/2015 20:01

I look massive (which is one reason why I tested). Really bloated & I don't know why.

Hamsolo · 17/11/2015 20:15

Evening all, I'm excited because I got my booking in and dating scan dates through today - Tuesday and Wednesday next week. It'll be nice to check if there's a heartbeat. I should be 8 weeks then. (They're sending me for a dating scan as I have PCOS, and my last period was in August, so they can't be sure how far I am along - even though I know exactly when it was!)

Magickal · 17/11/2015 20:18

Good news Ham.

I don't know how all this works - do I ring GP about seeing midwife? I have no idea.

wantingno2 · 17/11/2015 20:19

I'm extremely bloated not helped by my saggy belly from the last pregnancy hahaha everything is so uncomfortable even leggings can't button my jeans either and I have a hair appointment tomorrow and don't no what to wear as I don't want to look like a scruff in tracksuit bottoms lol

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 17/11/2015 20:23

Thinking of you Mel hope the bleeding has stopped and that the symptoms come back soon. Although lack of symptoms doesn't mean anything is up. Big hugs

EllieJayJay · 17/11/2015 20:35

Loki move away from the crisp packets... And send them over here

I look HUGE and have put on 5lbs in four weeks, started a week before my BFP mostly water I suspect (I can't get dehydrated have problems with low BP and where I won't take my medicine now I'm having to have more salt to retain water) and boobs as my hips have stayed pretty much the same but I'm at times so very bloated that I get back ache from trying to hold things in/up

Invested in V shape pillow and am already in bed, watching greys anatomy :)

I've got my booking in appointment tomorrow morning. I'm really nervous, and worried that the midwife is going to be nasty about my high BMI Sad I feel so guilty about it.

ChorusLine69 · 17/11/2015 20:40

Hi all, I got my bfp today - I reckon that DD will be around 22 July. In shock at the mo!

Loki17 · 17/11/2015 20:43

I'm sending the crisps your way Ellie!

You and me - if the midwife is nasty to you because of your weight then she isn't doing her job. Hopefully, she will be able to advise you on some things that you could do to keep yourself healthy. Don't stress, be kind to yourself, you are going to be someone's mummy Smile

VulvaVoom · 17/11/2015 20:44

Hello, I got a BFP this morning. I just knew I was pregnant. So tired, sicky and have had an awful taste in my mouth.

This is no 2 for me and looks like I'm due 22nd July. It's a bit surreal at the moment!

EllieJayJay · 17/11/2015 20:49

loki I've just eaten six chicken balls - I do not want those crisps Hmm unless their french fries or squares lol

you & me Loki is right, women of all shapes and sizes have babies, I saw my doctor today and said to her about the weight I put on because of cheese and her exact comment was "eat the cheese it's a benefit of pregnancy" and you need the calcium - as long as your sensible it doesn't matter if you put on a bit, your growing a tiny human so you deserve the cheese :)

Welcome new ladies :) I'm shattered all the time, at times make no sense at all :) have serious baby brain (or tired brain)

6+4

Eek just realised its a week before my scan :) this time next week I will be looking at a screen and hopefully seeing a healthy peanut :)

Cookiesandcoffee · 17/11/2015 20:52

Share the crisps around ladies Grin don't go hogging them. Wink

I hope she isn't mean youandi she really shouldn't be. A woman's weight is such a sensitive issue at the best of times never mind when hormones are rife! I put on so much weight in both my previous pregnancies but f*k them! They never really said anything to me. And I'm talking 5 stone!

That's exciting ham

loki* I currently look about 5 months gone. The bloating is awful. I live for pj bottoms the second I get home.
