Thinking of you Roto try not to worry to much which I know is easier said then done and look after yourself xx

mascaraisamust · 22/11/2015 06:24

Rose and Mel, I'm not on the medical trial but I am on progesterone (cyclogest) after my mc, spotting and low pg levels last bfp. It's made a big difference so far with me, no spotting as of yet. Got a BFP on the first cycle I was on it this time, so it's supported my LP and if I hadn't been offered it I was going to progesterone trial. I don't think I would have got pregnant without it and I've got enough for up to 12 weeks.

Loki17 · 22/11/2015 07:48

Really hope you are ok Roto.

felinewonderful · 22/11/2015 08:07

Hello everyone, can I join the group please? I am 7 weeks pregnant today and due date 10th July. This will be dc3 for me but I'm still a bit scared and nervous! Feeling sick quite a bit and on night shifts this weekend and so exhausted!

redstrawberries101 · 22/11/2015 08:33

Welcome :)

Roto hope you are ok too, keep us updated won't you. Big hugs. Xx

VulvaVoom · 22/11/2015 09:07

Welcome to all the new people. Roto, hop you're ok.

I've woken up with cramps this morning and more of a sharp pain than normal, am a bit worried. No blood as yet. I'm 5 weeks.

redstrawberries101 · 22/11/2015 09:13

I've also had a few sharp pains in lower left, they woke me up it was like a stabbing pain. Passed after few mins then had another round a few mins ago but lasted only 20 seconds or so. Just have to see how it goes.

redstrawberries101 · 22/11/2015 09:15

Mascara thanks for sharing re progesterone. I've not completely ruled it out. X

BelOfTheBall79 · 22/11/2015 09:25

Lucky so sorry to hear your news, thinking of you and good luck. Hopefully you'll have another little bean in there soon.

Roto also thinking of you, fingers crossed for the scan tomorrow, let us know how you get on.

Loki17 · 22/11/2015 09:26

Those stabbing pains.....They were what I has with dd that turned out to be trapped bowel gas. I've had them this time too but I know what they are. With dd, they lasted for 24 hours at least. I was convinced it was an ectopic pregnancy because they were sharp and painful. Try not to worry, if you are between 6 and 10 weeks then it is likely to be gas.

BelOfTheBall79 · 22/11/2015 09:28

Youandme and Sonia great to hear of your positive scans yesterday, it is amazing to see it all on screen! Definitely makes it feel more real Smile. And hope to hear more positive stories from ladies with reassurance scans this week.

SoniaShoe · 22/11/2015 09:54

lucky I'm really sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you. You sound really strong with it. And hoping the next time is the right time for you Flowers

Somnambulator · 22/11/2015 09:59

Hello ladies hoping I can join your group. Only just had my BFP and thinking My EDD will be around July 30th based on my LMP. This is my first and obviously very very nervous as it is still very early days :) feline I also work erratic shifts so can sympathise with the tiredness!

PatsySweetie · 22/11/2015 10:07

Hi there, would love to join your thread if there's room for another? I'm 7 weeks today judging by a later ovulation date charted on my clear blue advanced fertility monitor last month (cycle day 19). I had an early miscarriage in March (5.5 weeks) so DH and I are cautiously thrilled to be expecting again after trying obsessively hard for 7 months. I'm also rather anxious because of what happened last time. I had a very early scan at 5+4 and saw a 2mm bean with heartbeat, the sack and yolk sack (was shocked as we were anticipating another miscarrage due to bad cramps, although without bleeding). Have another scan this Friday coming (7.5). Then I'm planning a private scan at week 10 and hoping to get a 12 week NHS scan on Xmas Eve so we can tell our families on Xmas Day. I will pay for another private one if there is no availability. This baby would be our first. As for symptoms, I'm slightly queezy although it comes and goes, I often feel light headed and knackered late afternoon. Boobs are bigger and tender although some days are worse than others. I'm constipated at times but that is probably the cylogest pessaries (my progesterone is often on the low side and was when I miscarried last time). Wishing everyone a very happy, healthy pregnancy! Smile

pulpi · 22/11/2015 10:16

Hey Som! Fancy meeting you here! :)

Thistledew · 22/11/2015 10:16

I'm having a worrying weekend.

Yesterday started off well. I wanted to do another ClearBlue Digital test, and when I woke at 5 am needing a wee, I decided to do it then, to get the first of the day. That came back reassuring, showing 2-3 weeks as opposed to the 1-2 when I took it a week earlier.

However, at mid day I went to the loo and when I wiped there was some pinkish blood. Sad. Fortunately, it didn't develop, and I had managed to convince myself that all was ok. I had a bit of an achy feeling but no more bleeding. But just before I went to bed there was a small amount of brown clot/mucus.

There has been nothing over night, so I am still desperately keeping my fingers crossed.

I know that some bleeding is not uncommon in early pregnancy, but I can't help worrying, particularly as I still have no real symptoms and I have had such problems conceiving.

I tried to call the EPU at my local hospital this morning, but there was no answer. I don't know if there is anything they can do in any event as I am still so early at 5+2.

Loki17 · 22/11/2015 10:31

Thistle try and relax and wait it out. The spotting sounds light and that is normal in early pregnancy. If you start bleeding heavily call your gp. FX it's just everything settling in as it is still early days x

EllieJayJay · 22/11/2015 11:08

Second what Loki said I was panicked stupid the first time they happened and thankfully I had Loki to tell me of the "gas incident" with her DD xx

I have had it a couple of times and without giving TMI was quite obvious it was wind Blush

Hello ladies, only found out yesterday that I'm 5 weeks after giving in to doing a test!

Me and OH had started the adoption process. So surprised is an understatement. I thought something wasn't right when I went off food I usually enjoy this week, and kept suddenly feeling exhausted. Been feeling nauseous this weekend. I've told work because I have to as I work in a hospital so it's just a bit overwhelming at the minute. Have to tell sw tomorrow. Eek! We were told we couldn't have children without ivf.

redstrawberries101 · 22/11/2015 11:36

Lady - wow how incredible!! That is amazing Grin

Thistle dew - I was exactly 5+2 when I started sporting/ bit of brown blood which turned red and back to brown last week. Had a blood test on Wednesday which confirmed levels were correct for 5-6 weeks and scan on Friday which showed gestation and yolk sac within it. They assured me everything looks ok and if the bleeding gets heavier coupled with pain then to phone them again.

As per my earlier post I've had this stabbing pain overnight and this morning. After my last post I had it again and it lasted 2 mins. I do hope it's just wind!!!

6 week today

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 22/11/2015 11:45

Can all the new joiners add themselves to the July stats list please.

I'm really struggling to keep up. There are loads of us now. Smile

Ladyboluna · 22/11/2015 11:49

Melvali - I've had cramps and it was definitely wind. I just think that preg aches will be very low down at this moment whereas tummy aches are like nearer my belly button if that makes sense.

And yes thank you, we had tried for 2 years without anything at all happening so we gave up naturally conceiving after being given a 1% chance! People said it could happen and I wanted to slap them in the face lol

Loki17 · 22/11/2015 11:53

One more thing about the trapped wind - and this is gross so I'm sorry - but don't expect to do a comedy style huge fart and it go away (although that can happen, oh the joys of pregnancy!) In my case, it just dissipated slowly without any, erm, explosions. Right. No more bowel stories - I promise! Grin

I had excruciating pain yesterday and I thought that was it. Turns out it was constipation and wind again. Blush
