It's not over yet , others on this thread have had bleeding and found everything to be ok I understand it's such a concern but all could still be fine In there ((hugs)) sending prayers and love your way xx

Tsotofamily · 21/11/2015 11:27

Hi Roth
try not to worry I had bleeding at several times through my first pregnancy and now she's 8 years old. Just try and relax and take it easy till Monday.

Tsotofamily · 21/11/2015 11:28

Mean Roto bloody phone

RoTo72 · 21/11/2015 11:36

I honestly don't think they care unless ur 12 weeks. I know they cant do anything but I really juat want to know what's happening. Then I can deal with it

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/11/2015 11:38

Hi Tsoto congratulations.

Roto Oh no. Keeping everything crossed for you. I would call epu again & say you are in a lot of pain and need to come on now. It can't wait. What is wrong with people. I thinks it's disgusting that anyone experiencing bleeding can't be seen straight away. I had a small amount of bleeding at around 16 weeks in my last pregnancy. The hospital epu saw me but they left me sitting in a room for almost 3 hours before they let me know everything was ok.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/11/2015 11:38

*come in now

RoTo72 · 21/11/2015 11:39

Epu closed weekends in Belfast

redstrawberries101 · 21/11/2015 11:50

Roto sorry to hear that :( is the bleeding continuous? Do try take it easy. Hopefully it will be ok. Can imagine what your going through :( big hugs X try keep mind occupied so hard though

redstrawberries101 · 21/11/2015 11:52

Lucky in October hope you are ok too

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/11/2015 11:59

Roto can you not just go to maternity. Plonk yourself in reception and I'm sure someone will see you.

RoTo72 · 21/11/2015 12:00

Has stopped but still cramping. I honestly don't know what to think. I was vacuuming just before, hoping that's why but just don't know.

RoTo72 · 21/11/2015 12:05

Iv been looking online for private scans. First appointment is tomorrow afternoon £100. £100 is a lot to us, don't know if I should book r wait to Monday morning. Prob get same outcome anyway. If I could have got one today id have jumped at it

EllieJayJay · 21/11/2015 12:10

Am extremely emotional today, after 12 hours sleep on and off (am peeing three times at night as I have to keep drinking to avoid dehydration because of a medical condition) I woke up emotional but excited about using a voucher for a facial... Friend sent it for my birthday and was just what I needed

Arrived waited 20 minutes and then mentioned about being pregnant and so they refused to do the facial Sad

So went to Lush and asked about what ones I could use told the story of the facial and lady gave me a free serum body bar worth about £6 - I cried, in lush... Not just a few tears but sobbing tears

I am a mess

Roto I would save the £100 that is a lot for a scan. Maybe a pregnancy test like the digital ones would give you peace of mind until Monday. Although they aren't always 100 per cent reliable either. But may give you some idea either way. Thinking of you. Like others have said often bleeding is a normal symptom of pregnancy for some people. Some people bleed all the way through. Some after exercise, sex, heavy lifting. So possibly the housework xx

EllieJayJay · 21/11/2015 12:13

Sorry roto I didn't hit refresh so didn't see what your going through I'm so sorry xx

It's awful that we have to "wait it out" the stress levels alone can't help - I'd be banging on the door (well DP possibly would) if not I'd pay the £100 at least your know xx

Sending lots of love xx

Oh is away to get me weeks indicator, god love him its his second time at chemist cos he got the wrong one

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/11/2015 12:16

Ellie how ridiculous. Of course you can have a facial when pregnant. I bet the therapist just couldn't be bothered. What sort of facial was it? What brands did they use? I absolutely love lush I will be placing a big order before Christmas.

wantingno2 · 21/11/2015 12:18

hope your okay roto wishing you all the luck for Monday can't you ring the private place and tell them what's going on and beg them to see you today xx

lilygirl81 · 21/11/2015 12:24

Roto I really can't believe they are making you wait. I hope it's just been the housework and that everything is still snuggled in tight.

Ellie that's rubbish about the facial, I know my reflexologist said the reason she wouldn't do treatments on pregnant ladies was due to it increasing blood flow which could dislodge a pregnancy, but I can't see how a facial would be a problem. What a lovely assistant in Lush though.

Cramps have calmed down now and feeling well enough to go out for a bit which is lovely.

RoTo72 · 21/11/2015 12:25

Weeks indicator still coming up 3+. Now I'm more confused than ever.

EllieJayJay · 21/11/2015 12:31

I did a lot of research on the web as to what I could have and couldn't / what I would risk and was sure a facial would be fine It was an Eve Taylor facial, 75 minutes including a hand and foot massage - really what I desperately needed (know that sounds dramatic) but I've been feeling so hormonal this week and completely out of sorts I wanted something just for me and had a haircut yesterday which improved my mood so had been looking forward to this treat since to get me back into being myself since Monday.

They have said they will do it after 12 weeks but not before - I wonder if it's more to do with the oils they burn in the room??

My normal self would have questioned it, but was so emotional this morning that just wanted to crawl under a rock before bursting into tears.

But the lady in lush was so so lovely! Was such a nice surprise and it smells lovely so am going to go and drag out some mud mask, light some candles and drink some sparkling grape juice out of a champagne glass

That has to be good then doesn't it Ro? I think if you can afford the £100 go and get a scan then you will know for sure xx

Thinking of you Roto and Lucky. Roto, if I were you, id wait. There is nothing you can do and I know it's horrible. The sharp pain could be anything and it doesn't mean it's over. Try and distract yourself until Monday and then go to the epu. Good luck xx

redstrawberries101 · 21/11/2015 12:45

Hi roto

I know it's really really hard but I don't think you would have miscarried already by the sounds of it so not sure a scan tomorrow will be conclusive. £100 is a lot of money, why don't you treat yourself to something today and try and relax Sad it's so difficult, I really think they should be able to scan straight away. Could you go to accident and emergency?
