Mel try not to read too much into the symptoms every single lady is going to be so very different X

My symptoms have always been very strong I knew before the BFP and my symptoms got worse just boobs and tiredness until last weekend when it all seemed "normal" but I wonder is it normal or had I just got used to it? But you know your body better than anyone xx

I have had the symptoms come back since then, last night was in agony with boob pain this afternoon I just feel fat and not very pregnant at all - I just want you to try and keep positive as that HCG number seems good and I think that goes down quite quick so try and keep strong and positive xx

I think your doing amazing well!

Gx wouldn't that be great :) a little lens to see what's going on :) I thought of this whilst watching a programme on baby kangaroos yesterday - the mother can see the baby kangaroo growing in her pouch from a few weeks :) whilst I admit this would be a little weird Hmm id be so relieved to see my little person on a daily basis through some sort of magical iPhone app :) bet it will happen one day! For now I'm just counting down the days until Tuesday :)

Thanks Ellie jay jay

I guess all will be revealed soon!!!

Do you guys think they will be able to see much on the scan tomorrow? I think I'm
Only about 5 weeks 4-5 days

EllieJayJay · 19/11/2015 15:32

mel they can do scans this early and see what is happening they can also do an internal scan if they can't see anything... And remember at 5 weeks 4 days your closer to 6 so a greater chance of seeing something.

I saw this on the Internet:
What can you expect to see on your early pregnancy scan?

5 weeks pregnant:

A small gestation sac in the uterus measuring approximately 3 – 4 mm

6 weeks pregnant:

Within the uterus a small gestation sac and maybe a small yolk sac within it can be seen. Closer to 7 weeks a fetal pole, the visual start of seeing a baby(s) but still measuring only a few millimetre (the size of a grain of rice) with a heartbeat the chances of pregnancy continuing 78%.

7 weeks pregnant:

The baby usually measures 10 – 20 mm and a heartbeat can be seen clearly

Also on the pregnancy + app you can see what the 2D scan will show - so maybe have a look? If you can't for any reason I can try and take a screen shot for you x

Seconding what ellie said about ladies being different - and even so with pregnancies- the same woman can have completely different pregnancies from one to the next. Really try and remain positive mel and lucky but I understand you are mentally preparing for the worst also. The bloods slound good and if you are a bit behind than you thought then that might be why. I'm sure you will see something on a scan, I did in a previous pregnancy at about that stage. Wishing you so much luck and positive vibes.

I probably shouldn't moan but I've felt sick all day. I can't work out if it's pregnancy or bug. But added to my cough and cold I don't want it regardless.
7+3

SoniaShoe · 19/11/2015 17:34

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 17:55

Thanks Ellie jay jay I've seen that picture it's pretty amazing

Let's just see what happens :(

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 17:58

My mum had my brothers heart beat picked up at 5 weeks through an internal scan (she was being monitored closely because she had 3 miscarriages in a row). They have only offered me an ultrasound yet though. See what happens tomorrow

EllieJayJay · 19/11/2015 17:59

I've been good and completed my Workout dvd again today. However, I am so achy. I've taken to having a bath every day (usually only ever shower) it's like my daily indulgence. Is lovely with my Sanctuary Mum To Be Bath Bubbles.

I'm taking ds3 for his flu vaccine tomorrow so I'm going to ask the nurse about mine. Last time I had it in pregnancy I was fine but my arm came up with a big red mark. It lasted for ages.

Good luck in the morning Melvali! Will be thinking of you.

Lucky, keep us posted after Saturday as well. We're all in this together.

I'm feeling tired, achey and miserable today, for some reason. Have booked private nuchal scan for 20th December, I'll be 11+3 then. So we should have results by Christmas to tell family. Then we have Nhs one on 5th Jan so we get to see everything again 2 weeks later. I thought I'd be really happy but I'm not. Perhaps it's the thought of having to wait over 4 more weeks to know that things are going OK inside me! Or perhaps it's just the hormones.

7 weeks today

Hamsolo · 19/11/2015 18:56

Good luck Mel. Whenever I've been for an ultrasound at an early stage, it has been transvaginal, so yours will likely be the same. Will be thinking of you

Stom91 · 19/11/2015 19:15

I feel rough. Dp has gone out and that makes me feel sad :( DD1 is in bed. So I'm on my Todd :(

Loki17 · 19/11/2015 19:46

Good luck Lucky and Mel. Will be keeping everything crossed for you.

One of my colleagues asked me if I was pregnant today. I'm blaming the sickness. I can't hide the fact that I go white as a sheet. I said no and laughed it off but it's making me pretty paranoid. I feel like people can tell by looking at me and that mil and DM will guess by looking at me too!

Loki17 · 19/11/2015 19:48

Stom- im all alone too. DH is training to be a football coaching so he's out and dd is tucked up in bed.

SoniaShoe · 19/11/2015 19:55

stom and loki my DP is out too and my DD in bed. I'm going to have a bath and (another) early night though. I have no desire to be out going to pubs in this weather so quite happy here! Think will watch the secret life of 4 year old's first for some future research..

Stom91 · 19/11/2015 20:02

Don't tell the bride and then I'm a celeb for me. !

Jo6526 · 19/11/2015 20:05

I am hungry all the time! Trying to healthy eat as much as possible.

I'm watch tennis then have a bath!

This week has been a whirlwind. In space of a week I've gone from my normal life to 5+1Grin

HopesAndDreams15 · 19/11/2015 20:26

Melvali I hope the scan goes well for you tomorrow and it's good news.

Gx91 · 19/11/2015 20:27

No - I'm hungry all the time too just had a chicken roast dinner with all the trimmings and hour ago and there's some left ! Im trying to ignore it calling my name from the kitchen !
Gona chill watching I'm a celeb then crash too X
Someone said about the "mum to be " that stuff is amazing ! I forgot about it !
I used the body lotion everyday when I was prego last time and skin was so soft , think it helped stop stretch marks too as I didn't get any and was like the back end of a bus ! Lol X
Wish I was going for a private scan like some of u ladies ! Don't think it's fair u only get 2 on nhs lol I would by my own equipment if I could lol xx

Gx91 · 19/11/2015 20:27

That's meant to say JO not no ! Lol x

Loki17 · 19/11/2015 20:35

We are only having a private scan so we tell dd and then our parents at Christmas. It's only £40 for a reassurance scan which isn't too bad. I can't wait until I can tell people!

Jo6526 · 19/11/2015 20:36

I'm now thinking about a chicken roast dinner!! Smile

mascaraisamust · 19/11/2015 20:52

Hi all, it's so exciting to hear how you are all getting on, especially those that are ahead! Even though we are in the same thread there is a stark difference between those on 7 weeks and little old me at 4+5! Got some more progesterone today to take until 12 weeks so i feel better. Apart from being sore I feel fine. Got an early scan book for 4 weeks today, it couldn't come quick enough!

Mel and lucky wishing you all the best.
