I found a food I can eat and enjoy!!!! Wheetan bread, (northern Irish bread, gorg.). My symptoms are changing, not so nauseous, tho prop vom a few times yesterday. I'm going between physco and crying constantly. Just had an argument with my gas supplier over a faulty meter card, after I stuck £50 on it. My own fault kept meaning to get meter taken out and just have quarterly bills. Anyone else feel they have no control over their moods at all? 7w3d

RoTo72 · 19/11/2015 12:43

Now I'm.crying cos I tried to phone my mother on my sky remote!

EllieJayJay · 19/11/2015 12:49

6+6 here and my first and I feel very bloated! I look four months pregnant at least... i had been on WW before and was feeling very happy with myself - but it will be worth it and it is very much my stomach that is expanding I just don't know what it should look like at this point keep googling bumps...

Have read that some people do get so bloated and then it goes down in week 12... So you end up almost looking smaller...

Hello ladies, will catch up on thread properly later but an eventful day or two for me - had brown spotting now for 3 days inc today but it's not getting any worse and no pain. Was worrying though last night and phoned nhs24 who told me to go to a & e as they couldn't exclude ectopic pregnancy. A & e then did urine and blood tests to check whether I was still pregnant - urine was negative but blood serum (which took ages to come back) was positive. By the time blood results came back my husband and I were in the fish and chip shop having accepted that we weren't pregnant any more and would need to wallow and try again. Total mind warp. Serum HCG only 306 though which is lower than it should be for my dates. However, dates could be wrong as I'm using my pill withdrawal bleed as a period for dating purposes which from speaking to a & e doctor and early pregnancy unit nurse this morning could mean it's all ok but I'm not as far as long as I thought, or it could be of course that I'm right in thinking im 6 weeks and the brown spotting is going to progress to a miscarriage. So, next step is a repeat blood test at early pregnancy unit on Saturday morning to see if hcg is rising or not. In the meantime, trying to keep up the act that all is normal - feels very surreal and posting to help me make sense of it really!

Massive hugs. What a horrible thing to go thru. The uncertainty. Hope thing go well, will keep everything crossed

wantingno2 · 19/11/2015 13:14

So just had my bloods done and flu jab got to phone them on Friday or Monday I've got a dead arm now from the flu jab hope everyone is well I'm 5+2 today I think x

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 13:14

Lucky October - going through same thing so feel for you loads

Preg Symptoms disappeared when I woke up on mon morning, spotting/ bleeding started on tue afternoon. Had blood test at EPU yesterday and got results today - levels are 15080 which is line with 5-6 weeks preg. So going in for a scan tomorrow. I was totally convinced it's ended like you, but then the results came through and have thrown me off.

Don't know what to think so I am trying not to think and just take each fact as it comes. Bloods don't really mean much because I expect it would take time to reduce if the embryo died So I'm still trying to make myself prepare that it has indeed ended.

If my symptoms were still here I would have been more optimistic but it's the fact that symptoms have pretty much disappeared coupled with the bleeding.

wantingno2 · 19/11/2015 13:27

The bloods sound pretty good melvali I had mine done today have to phone for results Friday or Monday I'm same dates as you I've got all my fingers and toes crossed for you i really hope it all works out for you what time is your scan tomorrow x

SunnyScot89 · 19/11/2015 13:35

Fingers crossed for your scan tomorrow Melvail Let us know how it goes. Are you still bleeding? The ladies at EPU in RIE were so nice when I mced. Feel free to pm me if you need someone to chat to. xx

SoniaShoe · 19/11/2015 13:46

Hi lucky sorry to hear what you've been going through. Fingers crossed its just a date thing. Its such a long waiting game for both you and melvali but at least you're being seen and looked after in the meantime.

These first few weeks are such a fragile time!

For those of you talking about bumps, I'm on my 2nd and I'm massive! I have a proper little bump already. I think a lot of it I bloat because I can't stop eating bread (or food generally) and I usually don't eat it because it bloats my tummy. But still its definitely more than last time.

7 plus 5

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 13:46

Aw thank you girls.

Scan tomorrow at 10.30.

I don't want to get my hopes up but I had hoped that my first ever baby scan would show a strong heartbeat :(

Just got to be strong X

Oh Mel and lucky really hope everything works out ok for you. Just try to get as much rest as you both can. I'm really praying for a completely uneventful 9 months for us all.

Gx91 · 19/11/2015 13:54

Good luck mel and lucky ,

Mel- bloods do sound good , glad ur getting a scan tomorrow hope it goes well , praying for u ! X I have the sm due date and have next to no symptoms too , actually feel too good at the moment , I don't think symptoms r a good one to go by because everyone is different , my last pregnancy was a breeze , also morning sickness generally starts around 6 weeks but some get it sooner X
Lucky - could be u have ur dates wrong I stopped the pill too and used OPKs and found I ovulated really late in my cycle so u could be the same X hope ur next blood tests prove that all the best X

Iv started feeling a bit nervous today bn to the shops and should have bought some cheapy tests to check if line is darker X
Got friends coming over today and don't feel like visitors , not telling them I'm pregnant til OH tells his folks X

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 14:02

Not had any forget bleeding since yesterday afternoon. It's just the lack of symptoms that have got me feeling that it's not good news. I suppose we know our own bodies and know the symptoms we feel X

Gx91 · 19/11/2015 14:06

I really hope it goes well for u Mel ! Will b tuning in tomorrow all day to see if ur ok xx

Stom91 · 19/11/2015 14:14

Lucky. Brown spotting can be completely normal and just some old blood.
Positive thinking. Xx

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 14:15

Thanks girls. So nice to have some support! I wish we lived close by and could meet up for catch ups!

Gx91 the thing that puzzled me is that from 3weeks 4 days to 5 weeks I had strong symptoms like nausea, very sore breasts, heightened smell, urinating frequently and dizzy spells.

From the morning of my 5th week, all the symptoms seemed to have gone! My boobs are deflated and only just slightly tender when I poke and prod them, no nausea and smell issues, normal loo habits and no dizzy spells. I feel good. Normal.

But surely it's meant to be the other way around?? Symptoms are supposed to progress with the heightened hormones.

I hope that if the scan is inconclusive tomorrow, they do some more bloods to compare to yesterday's.

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 14:17

I should mention if anything, I've gone off food completely but I think that's with the worry.

Gx91 · 19/11/2015 14:32

i know what u mean about thinking the symptoms should get worse but really don't think they would have kicked in full force yet it's still really early and some women don't get strong symptoms at all , I'm actually looking forward to feeling sick and needing to take naps as I don't feel pregnant at all
I'm hoping they do another Preg test tomorrow at app coz I haven't had a line darker than the control and used last test on Monday X
I hope u get a huge sigh of relief tomorrow at scan and remember to ask them all the questions u nd answers to so u can keep reminding urself when u get spooked
Think we all worry every day until
We can feel them inside , wish we could see thru into there ourselves ! Xx

Jo6526 · 19/11/2015 14:36

Mel hope scan goes ok tomorrow.

I also don't think I have any symptoms, if I didn't take test I wouldn't have noticed I was pregnant. Apart from slight dizziness this morning and feeling bloated, again I would have this during my period. I've got doctors tomorrow - am I right in saying they don't test anymore at doctors? Who's been for first doctors appointment, what should I expect?

Woodsy81 · 19/11/2015 14:48

Jo, I went to the doctors as soon as I got a positive test. (I was on medication for severe heartburn that I needed to change). The Dr. did not do a test. She just asked me when my LMP was and if I had calculated my due date (which I had). She gave me healthy start vitamins and the number for the midwife and a prescription for my new (baby safe) medication and that was it. I don't know what I expected from her but I was only in for 10 minutes max.

redstrawberries101 · 19/11/2015 14:48

Thanks girls. Smile

Maybe the initial symptoms I felt were just the hormones going crazy at fertilisation. Who knows. My gut instinct just tells me it doesn't feel right though.

Soon find out tomorrow!

Jo6526 · 19/11/2015 15:05

Aw that's good then pretty straightforward visit

Think I'll book in for the flu jag too
