I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

I've had the tmi discharge too. I keep panicking I might have started bleeding!

I've started feeling sick today. Not massively, but a bit. Actually, I sort of feel simultaneously sick and hungry, and it only seems to go away when I'm actually eating. I have that sort of empty stomach pain you get when you're really hungry iykwim?

Can I join? I'm 37 in London and found out on Thursday!
No other kids but have been TTC for 3 years and was going through initial appointments at Fertility Clinics when - BOOM!
First Drs appointment today due date, 1st July!
Feel VERY sick - though not actually been sick and I also have a dose of gastro. Went thru 4 changes of clothes last night to to sweats and shivers and have very achy thighs today.....WTF?!!!!

Wellthen · 02/11/2015 18:44

Welcome waterjungle. Hope you feel better soon, that sounds awful!

Symptoms starting to abate a little which is good but I can't help finding them comforting and worrying that if I don't get symptoms then I'm not still pregnant! Told my boss today as I'm a little worried about being ill at work, just hope I haven't told her too early.

welcome to all new joiners!

I called my clinic to book a scan for 25 Nov and the nurse sounded more excited than me which was nice :-) I'll be 7 and abit weeks then so I'm just over 4 weeks.

woodsy81 sounds like something I would do too!!

bluebell20 do you think you'll tell your brother to avoid a clash? We've got 2 weddings next summer!! Why aren't people more sensible and have winter weddings like I did?!?

soniashoe we always said we wouldn't tell anyone until 12 weeks but we've told both our parents so don't think it's silly at all!

waterjungle hope you feel better soon wellthen strangely I find the symptoms comforting too although can't say I'm looking forward to morning sickness..!

Has everyone got a date booked in to see a midwife? I should be getting my letter with appt dates in the next 2 weeks.

Hamsolo · 02/11/2015 19:30

I've got a bit of sickness too (and a lot of discharge). It's all tmi from here on in isn't it. I'm in London too waterjungle, nice to see a local (you're probably the other side of course!)

Hamsolo · 02/11/2015 19:32

I haven't told anyone yet. I might have to tell my sister at the weekend as we're visiting my parents and I know they'll ask me to change the cat litter and I'll try to get her to do it instead to avoid nasties.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 19:38

Hi waterjungle I am shivering all day and then I sweat at night.

Jem I don't have a booking appt yet as I haven't seen the doctor. I'm going to try to get to the doctors this week.

Bluebell we have DHs best mates wedding next year. They live in Australia but are coming back to Leicestershire for the wedding. They are over at the moment organising everything and are coming to us for dinner tomorrow. They are having bell tents on a field for people to stay in afterwards and get married on the 6th August. I'm not sure whether to tell them tomorrow or wait. For one I don't think I will find anyone to babysit all 4 children plus I don't really want to leave what will be at the very most a four week old baby (no children invited).

Announcement wise we are thinking about a Christmas card with 6 stockings five with our names on then a teeny one with a question mark. Then a scan picture inside. Either that or a Christmas meal announcement.

Has anyone got a pregnancy app yet?

waterjungle poor you! Rest up

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 20:00

Doh sorry waterjungle baby brain already. I misread your post. Hope you feel better soon. Just try to keep your fluids up xx

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 02/11/2015 20:01

We've told our parents and a couple of close friends who I would want to know if something went wrong. My scan is on the 18th December, so if all is well the plan is to tell the extended family when we see them in between Christmas and New Year, and then make it more widely known after that. Not sure what to do about work though - might have to tell them earlier if morning sickness kicks in and is problematic.

Wellthen · 02/11/2015 20:28

Youandme did you get much choice for scan dates? 18th would be bang on 12 weeks for me too but dh is off work a couple of days before, kinds hoping I could get it then.

CultureSucksDownWords · 02/11/2015 20:34

Everyone is much more organised than me! I haven't been to make an appointment yet, I may be able to fit in in tomorrow. I think I can just book straight in with the midwife rather than have a GP appointment as well. I haven't told anyone apart from DP yet. I won't tell anyone until after the 12 week scan, I think. For some reason I'm much more aware of the potential for things to go wrong than last time.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 02/11/2015 20:38

I didn't really get a choice Wellthen but I didn't ask for one - I phoned up to make the appointment and that was the time I was offered. I guess if I'd asked for something different they might have been able to accommodate it.

Bluebell20 · 03/11/2015 07:36

Ooo thanks everyone for the tmi - it is nice to know I'm not the only one!

Beautician, I don't think you need to tell them yet if you don't want to. Their wedding date is already booked, so there is nothing anyone can do! Bit frustrating though! (I love your announcement idea by the way.)

Jem, I'm just going to keep close tabs on his wedding plans, and if he sounds like he's going to start booking anything I'll tell him immediately - they might even get married in 2017 yet so it could be fine!

Symptoms update - bit of constipation on and off, which
I never ever have normally! Slightly sore boobs, but no more than I sometimes get as part of my cycle. Also had a rush of dizziness last night and had to lie down pronto.

I dropped in my midwife referral form yesterday and now have to wait for her to get in touch. I asked about the flu jab at the same time, and the receptionist said the midwife would organise it.

Had my first bout of nausea on the way to work today. I actually just found it reassuring. Had to go and buy some toast for a second breakfast. I can't stop eating.

I've noticed that laytex who set the thread up hasn't been around for a while. Are you still lurking laytex?

Morning ladies. Well I've booked my gp appointment it's tomorrow morning. It will feel good to get the ball rolling.

My major symptom is tiredness. I could sleep all day but it's probably due to the fact I can't stop weeing at night. I'm a bit worried I'm going to get constipation again as I haven't been in a couple of days now BlushI keep feeling twinges and soreness but I'm sure it's all everything stretching.

I'm off to the gp in a mo. I can't keep anything down not even water and I can't pee!! Feel like death! Sad

Bluebell20 · 03/11/2015 10:00

Oh no, Becks! That sounds grim!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 03/11/2015 10:01

Oh no Becks how far along are you.? I'm sure they can give you something for it. Hopefully you will be feeling better soon

CultureSucksDownWords · 03/11/2015 10:11

Oh, I hope you feel better soon Becks, and that the GPs can do something to help. Thanks

I've just made my appt with the midwife for the 19th Nov - seems ages away. But speaking about it on the phone to the receptionist made it seem all very real!

Bluebell20 · 03/11/2015 10:12

It's nice isn't it, Culture? When I handed my referral form over to the receptionist yesterday she smiled when she realised what it was and said, 'Oh, lovely!'

CultureSucksDownWords · 03/11/2015 10:19

It is! The receptionist said congratulations when I explained what I was phoning for :-)

We have good friends staying with us at the mo, and I feel very odd about the fact that I'm not telling them. But I want to tell my family first, at Christmas, hopefully once I've had the 12 week scan and no problems have been identified.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 03/11/2015 10:30

Just a quick question when do you all start counting the first day of your Af? Last month I had loads of brown cm and a bit of red on 30th September. Doesn't make much difference but it would put me a day ahead

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 03/11/2015 10:39

I think day 1 is meant to be your first day of "full flow" so it sounds like that might have been 01 October for you? I don't think it really matters though as they will probably move the date about a bit as a consequence of the scan anyway.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 03/11/2015 10:48

Youandme yes you are right. I've always had my date moved quite a bit. With ds3 I had a due date of 10th May and it was moved to 16th May. He arrived on the 19th. I wonder if it will be so far out this time though as I've never had a test show so early.
