I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

orchid15 · 01/11/2015 17:43

Cookiesandcoffee · 01/11/2015 20:24

Haha oh no flowers! Sure you can request it to be deleted? So no cramps for the last few days which i'm pleased about.. although I think my stomach has expanded already?! Concerned how long I have in my skinny jeans (DC3) ... Anyone else?! Or have I just eaten too much Blush

Jem01 · 01/11/2015 20:51

Hi ladies, is it OK if I join you? I'm due around the 14 July (I think) it's my first pregnancy following an IVF cycle so having trouble trying to work out my due date. I only found out on Saturday so still in utter shock but so happy Smile

Jem01 - 29 - DC1 - London - 14 July

Hamsolo · 01/11/2015 20:57

Congratulations Jem!

Jem01 · 01/11/2015 21:30

Thank you Hamsolo and congratulations to you too!

Flowersonthewall · 01/11/2015 21:40

Sorry ladies! cookies I'm wondering the same as this is dc3 and really hoping I can keep wearing normal jeans until at least after Christmas!! ha as if!

orchid15 · 01/11/2015 22:22

Congrats Jem! Cookies I'm feeling pretty bloated too Sadhopefully will fit in my clothes til after Christmas!

SoniaShoe · 02/11/2015 06:43

Congratulations flowers and jem

cookies I'm glad your cramping has eased up. Mine had until I had a huge roast dinner and 2 puddings (making up for the lack of wine..) I had really bad stomach pains yesterday and had to go to bed by 8.00. Feel a bit better today but I'm going to take it easy.

My tummy is very bloated already. I've bought myself some belly belts (can get them on amazon) they're brilliant for keeping your jeans and trousers going for the first few months. Hopefully link below will work.

beckslovestimmy · 02/11/2015 11:03

Morning ladies, hello to the new joiners. Anyone else got morning sickness yet? Mines really ramped up the last few days and lasts pretty much all day. Not actually vomiting but really really nauseous!!

orchid15 · 02/11/2015 11:09

Hi becks - snap! Not been sick yet but can't shake the feeling today... Thank fully my cramps have gone though! How are the rest of your symptoms?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 11:13

Hi Ladies Congratulations too you all. Can I join. I've done 5 tests now so i think it's safe to say I'm definitely pregnant. It was a shock as we have been trying for 13 months and thought it wouldn't happen. Also I got my BFP a lot sooner than any other pregnancy 3 days before Af was due. A test usually takes until a few days after missed Af to show for me.

This will be Dc4. I have two children from a previous relationship who my DH has taken on completely as his own. Then a 2.5 year old with DH.

Due date is 7th July the day before DHs birthday. Smile

Welcome BeauticianNotMagician81

beckslovestimmy Yeah I am on the not sick but not well wagon with you. If anything it gives me no desire to eat.

Off for a bloodtest today (hypothyroid) and then registering tomorrow. I hope to not be over excited but I am sure I will talk and talk and talk. Poor GP registering ladies to the midwife.

Woodsy81 · 02/11/2015 13:44

No morning sickness for me yet. Still pretty symptomless apart form the odd bout of tiredness. My cramps have eased up a lot more now too. I know I shouldn't wish symptoms upon myself but it would be nice to have reassurance that everything is how it should be. Told my sister at the weekend. Wrapped up one of my tests and gave it to her as a 'present'. lol. Needless to say she was delighted. Just can't wait to be able to tell more friends/family. Sorry to hear some of you are suffering with sickness. xx

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 13:51

Woodsy81 don't worry about no symptoms plenty of time yet.

I've had a new symptom for me not had it in previous pregnancies. Tmi but chronic constipation it's been horrid. I've been feeling a little sicky but nothing too bad yet and I have sore boobs. I've a feeling my boobs are going to get huge as I already have a double boob as they are trying to escape out of my bra Smile

When I was on an ante natal thread in 2013 we would put a footnote of our weeks at the end of the post. Anyone fancy doing that it's just nice to see where everyone's at.

hi managed to get rid of my earlier message apologies again for the crazy copying! Hope you are all doing well Smile

SoniaShoe · 02/11/2015 14:05

welcome flowersonthewall and congratulations.

i'm not really feeling sick yet but in some ways i wish i would to feel reassured - but i know I'll regret that when it does turn up.

looking forward to some of us getting started with the booking appointments and early scans but we're still a couple of weeks away aren't we even for those on the top of the stats list. the waiting is taking sooo long!

today is officially a week for me without drinking and i'm not missing it yet. i missed it so much last time (i haven't got a problem or anything i just like a nice red wine).

good idea beautician on putting our numbers down

I'm 5+2 today

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 14:11

Sonia have you made your gp appt. Booking appt with the midwife is usually 8 weeks when they take some blood. Eek I hate having my bloods done. Then we will all be due our scans around Christmas time which I think is a lovely time to be able to announce it

Bluebell20 · 02/11/2015 14:28

Nearly told my brother today, as he was talking about possibly getting married early next summer... My brain was screaming 'Nooooooooooo!!!!' I was going to wait till the 12 week scan to tell him, as I'll be seeing him in person over Christmas, but now I'm worrying that I might need to tell him sooner to avoid potential baby/wedding clash!

This may be TMI ladies, but I do feel the need to share it... I've been having quite a lot of discharge the last week or so, which I believe is fairly normal for early pregnancy? But today I'm also getting weird sort of scratchy (not at all itchy - but like the uncomfortable feeling of something scratching) feelings/twinges which feel quite high up inside me. Any ideas?!

Woodsy81 · 02/11/2015 14:30

Sonia , I am missing my Friday night (and Saturday night) glass of wine. I poured a glass for my sister on Friday and without thinking picked it up, took a sip and instantly realised what I was doing, panicked and spat it back into the glass. lol. My sister was gutted that a whole glass of wine was pretty much wasted!! :)

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 14:32

Bluebell scratching, stretching and pulling are all quite normal. You will get some strange feelings as everything grows. Also if you get itching look out for Thrush as unfortunately it's quite common in pregnancy but easily treatable.

I have lots of cm I need to get some pant liners.

SoniaShoe · 02/11/2015 15:21

yep my docs appointment is 20 nov and my midwife booking in appt is on tue 24th - they just booked them in at the same time. i'm really hoping for a scan before christmas - surely they'll be nice and get us in before rather than after.

that's really funny woody about spitting your wine back into the glass haha. i'm sure a sip of wine wouldn't matter surely, but you just don't want to do anything wrong do you.

we've been telling a few people - our close family and close friends. i know its probably silly to but we're too excited.

Vikkijayne2507 · 02/11/2015 16:20

I can join in tmi loads of discharge how lovely.

Ended up telling a friend whose 3 months ahead of me as I wouldn't be able to hide it until Xmas.
