I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

beckslovestimmy · 30/10/2015 16:42

Hi ladies just had a quick scan through the thread. My EDD is 26th of June but I'm hoping you don't mind me joining you as the June thread seen so far ahead of me. I'm 31, this will be DC number 2. I think I'm 5+5. I've had really sore boobs since about 10days post ovulation and for the last 2 days have been nauseous. With DD my sickness was horrendous until about 22 weeks, I really how it's not as bad this time.

I have a gp app next week as they have to confirm pregnancy before they will refer you to the midwives.

We haven't told anyone yet, hoping to wait until after the scan and may tell family on xmas day as my bro will be home from the U.S. I haven't seen him for nearly 3 years.

Wellthen · 30/10/2015 18:51

Hi all, very excited to find this thread! Due between 1st and 3rd (depending on whether I use LMP or day I think we conceived) with our first. Been having lots of cramping, particularly in the evening and very sore swollen bobs to the point that I've bought a non-underwired bra.

We haven't told anyone yet and are a bit cautious talking about it as we know its such early days. But with every day that goes by I feel a bit more confident. Have an appointment at 8 weeks with midwife so just focusing on that.

photographerlady · 30/10/2015 19:21

Wellthen welcome! I will join you on the night time boobs and cramps. I guess it's slightly reassuring as it feels normal. 8 week appointment will be here in no time

LaytexSales · 30/10/2015 22:31

Great to see all the exciting news! I even have a due date buddy!

I don't know what's going on with me but I did not experience this level of symptoms so early on my 2 previous pregnancies! I'm not even 5 weeks and I'm totally bloated. Really bad nausea all day today, thought I was going to throw up on a few occasions!

OP posts:
Wellthen · 31/10/2015 08:18

Eurg, rubbish night. Woke loads to go to the loo with a dull ache. I have been known to get stomach pains when I'm stressed so could have been that. But then woke at 4 with really bad cramps, definitely uterus related not bowel. Took paracetamol (trying to avoid it but it wasn't going away) and had a hot water bottle. There was/is no blood and all symptoms are the same so I've no real reason to worry. I do anyway tho!

Those who've already been pregnant - did you have bad cramping?

SoniaShoe · 31/10/2015 08:27

morning wellthen sorry to hear about your rough night.

this is my second pregnancy and i don't remember these cramps from last time at all but i've been getting them a lot over the last week quite badly (i'm 5 weeks today). i only got my bfp on tuesday and before that i just assumed these pains were period pains which is why i hadn't bothered testing before.

from what i've heard and read - cramping with no bleeding is perfectly normal and is a result of implantation and your womb stretching. so far i've had no other symptoms apart from that cramping and sore boobs plus my tummy is really bloated i look about 4 months already!

everyone on here seems to be having cramping. i think as long as there is no bleeding you don't need to worry (that's what i'm telling myself anyway). when is your docs appointment booked for?

Wellthen · 31/10/2015 08:37

Thanks Sonia. My Drs books you straight in with the midwife so its not until 8 weeks. But obvs will go in if I get any more worried. As long as the cramps keep just coming and going as they have been since I got my bfp and as long as there's no blood then I won't worry too much. What worried me last night was that it wouldn't go away. Oh and DH's little concerned face!

Comforting to know private scans can be as little as 50quid. I had assumed it would be over 100.

SoniaShoe · 31/10/2015 08:43

they're all £100 in brighton. for the 8 week scan anyway. the 12 week ones are much cheaper because you get them on the nhs anyway, the ones you can't get on the nhs tend to be the expensive ones.

i can't decide whether to go for an 8 week one or make myself wait another 4 weeks. i think i'll wait til nearer the time as i think you can book them really short notice anyway.

photographerlady · 31/10/2015 11:46

Morning ladies. The combo of carrying my two year old and all this bloating makes me wanna spend the rest the day sleeping. Oh forgot to mention the tiredness. The joys of early pregnancy has seemed to catch us pretty early

Vikkijayne2507 · 31/10/2015 12:39

Not quite 4 weeks (tomorrow ) and I've got a horrendous cold and can't take anything for it. Luckily mil has taken Ds out for a few hours.

It's werid my boobs don't feel swollen like last time but I'm very tired ( maybe the cold) and cannot stop weeing all the blooming time

photographerlady · 31/10/2015 13:50

SoniaShoe I went for an 8 week last time, could just make out the pole (think it was called) and the little bean was worth it at the time as she was my first after five years of trying. This time it's just because I'm out of the country for Xmas and so impatient to wait til new years :)

Hi all! In so excited to join with a due date of 7th July! It will be DC1 and I'm 28 from near Southampton. I don't have any close friends who have been pregnant so this is all very new to me! Xx

Hamsolo · 31/10/2015 17:20

I've added you to the stats, Lollipop Smile

Well, I'm five weeks today, and still no symptoms for me! According to my Ovia app, my little embryo should now be the size of a peppercorn - which I think is surprisingly large!

Have no idea how I'm going to last until that 12 week scan...

Cookiesandcoffee · 31/10/2015 19:54

Eek lots of new additions! Congratulations! I think October was a busy month Wink
Just to update my stats.. (I would do it but I'm super rubbish!)
I'm 27 and live in Wiltshire. I've been having a bit of a panic the last few days that I won't be able to cope with 3?! Reality is sinking in. This was our first month off the pill and was really expecting nothing so still feeling very shocked.
The exhaustion has kicked in already.. Only 35 weeks to go?!

SoniaShoe · 01/11/2015 07:23

I've added beckslovestimmy back on the stats she got bumped off.

How's everyone doing? I'm starting to wake up really early, still have sore bobs but not much else so far. 5+1 today and the days are dragging by

Stats not stash...

Bluebell20 · 01/11/2015 07:34

I've been waking up early too Sonia, but then I have been going to bed early too!

When I wake up, the first thing I think about is that little embryo growing inside me... Had the realisation this morning that if all goes well, it will be the first thing I think about every morning for a long long time! Eek!

photographerlady · 01/11/2015 11:08

Morning everyone. Have a nice Halloween? Living in the new forest not many houses but we managed to find a few. My two year was so excited

Vikkijayne2507 · 01/11/2015 11:37

Haha bluebell made me smile and chuckle. If you have a baby like mine it won't be first thing in morning it'll be every 2-3 hours on a good night and 40 mins on a bad one you'll think about baby :). Worth it tho
