I still have everything crossed for you carrot xx

Does anyone have or had a anterior placenta?
I'm getting abit worried about the possibility of not feeling moving as much and/or later.
I'm debating renting a Doppler for peace of mind as not seeing MW til half term Confused

Oopsnumber3 · 05/10/2015 17:17

My last one was anterior Rinnyx, can't really remember when I first felt movement but I reckon it was about 18 weeks. Wasn't long before he was easily pogoing around with the best of them though. I'm not really expecting to feel much until the same kind of time.

AmpleRaspberries · 05/10/2015 17:21

Oh carrot I'm so sorry you're going through this. FX for you Flowers

AmpleRaspberries · 05/10/2015 17:36

I also had anterior placenta last time. I definitely felt stuff around 18 - 20 weeks. The difference was more that DH struggled to feel anything and I never got that hand and foot sticking out thing, but I could feel it inside.

MazzleDazzle · 05/10/2015 19:04

Sorry to hear that carrot. FX everything goes well.

Hormones are definitely affecting me! Got really angry at work today (twice!) and I cried. I never cry in front of anyone. Ever. Don't think anyone saw, but still Blush. Had such a crap day that I could have cried all over again when DH asked how my day went.

Working 4 full days this week and with 2 smallish kids too, it's going to be tough and I'm expected to do lots of paperwork to do at home too.

Got my NHS scan tomorrow. Will be interesting to see if it corrolates with the dates of my private scan.

I've spent a fortune on both bigger sized clothes and maternity clothes, but still struggle to put together an outfit most days! Feel huge already. How are the rest of you guys coping?

woundbobbin · 05/10/2015 20:37

Oh carrot I'm so sorry I will keep everything crossed for you.

crumblybiscuits · 06/10/2015 09:40

Finally got a booking appointment which is the day before my scan. 10 days and counting! Will be a very emotionally charged few days. Our angel baby's due date is the same day as my booking appointment and the day before my scan and we are going up to Gloucester to a church service for stillborn babies. So emotions running high.

PallasCat · 06/10/2015 15:36

Oh Carrot Flowers Flowers Flowers
Thinking of you and have everything crossed for you xxx

Oopsnumber3 · 07/10/2015 16:23

I hope Carrot is ok. It's preying on my mind.

MazzleDazzle · 07/10/2015 18:52

Mine too, oops. Keep loggin on hopping for good news.

Good luck with your scan and booking appt, crumbly. What a lovely idea having a service to remember still borns. I'm sure it'll be a comfort to so many people.

waxweasel · 07/10/2015 21:35

Me too. I feel terrible for poor Carrot - am guessing it isn't good news as she said she wouldn't update in that case, understandably.

I'm so sorry for your loss crumbly

thundernlightning · 08/10/2015 06:15

I hope the service is lovely, Crumbly. And I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Feeling quite sad for Carrot too.

Mazzle, you must be utterly exhausted. I'm wiped out and this is my first!

PallasCat · 08/10/2015 07:54

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that I've private messaged Carrot, and so sad to confirm everyone's fears that she has miscarried. She's really appreciative of everyone's messages of support and concern, and she wishes everyone the best.

crumblybiscuits · 08/10/2015 08:47

Oh no, poor Carrot. Sad Flowers for you do stumble across this.

Just under 12 weeks and my morning sickness has reemerged with a vengeance. Bladder control is not what it used to be either considering this is technically DC3. I am massive now! First thing when I wake up I can feel and see baby so clearly in the bottom of my tummy. I put a photo up from this morning while I was sucking in. It feels like reassurance that there is actually a baby in there!

crumblybiscuits · 08/10/2015 08:50

Also thank you for kind words ladies!

Oopsnumber3 · 08/10/2015 11:35

Oh no, poor Carrot, that's completely shit. I hope she's ok.

Want2bSupermum · 08/10/2015 12:17

Poor carrot. I was going to Pm her yesterday and ran out of time. Hugs and more hugs to carrot.

waxweasel · 08/10/2015 13:37

Poor Carrot. What shitty luck, and after 2 MCs already. I really hope she's ok, I feel awful for her

PallasCat · 08/10/2015 13:53

Yes, really really sad for Carrot. Heartbreaking.

Crumbly I am also just reaching 12 weeks this weekend and have felt soooo much worse the past few days - I've had to call in sick.
What an intense few days you will have next week. My goodness. You will be in my thoughts.

waxweasel · 08/10/2015 15:36

Pallas - I went to the gp last week (at 13 weeks exactly) as I was just feeling worse and worse. She put me on an anti-sickness drug which I was reluctant to take, but we did some research and it has been used on pregnant ladies since the 70s and has zero side effects on either the woman or the baby, but just sorts out the nausea and vomiting (honestly, why dont they just stick it in pregnacare?!). It's really helped. And best of all, I've been signed off FOR A MONTH!

waxweasel · 08/10/2015 15:36

So my point is, don't struggle on - there are options xx

PallasCat · 08/10/2015 16:38

Thank you Wax - I'm not vomiting fortunately, my symptoms are nausea, dizziness and exhaustion. I'm going to try to make it in to work tomorrow. Have felt an increase in energy during the course of today. Plus the week after next is half term, so I've a good rest to look ahead too. But yes I will keep it in mind that if it continues I'll see the doctor. Thank you Smile

PallasCat · 08/10/2015 16:41

to not too!
Bloody hell you know when I make sps I'm at rock bottom! Shock Wink

Rinnyx · 09/10/2015 07:26

15 weeks today, eek!

Cherrypie5 · 09/10/2015 16:25

Good news at my scan yesterday, dated 12 weeks exactly so due 21st April. Unfortunately I couldn't have the nuchal test I wanted as baby wouldn't move into the right position, so have to go back for the quadruple blood test in a few weeks instead. Everything looked fine though :) I am so relieved.
Hope you ladies are all doing Ok x
