Ahh lovely mazzle can't wait for my scan, still got nearly 2 weeks to go.

Anyone having any cravings. I'm still feeling (and being) so sick that I can't bear most food unless it's pretty plain, but I am craving coke and it's the only thing that settles my stomach for a bit. I've been avoiding having it due to the caffeine, but having looked up how much is in a can it's only 32mg, so less than a cup of coffee. So I'm going to allow myself a bit now and again.

SaltySeaBird · 26/09/2015 14:31

Also had my 12 week scan this week and they have moved me forward so I'm, 13+1 today! Congratulations to everyone having scans, some lovely pictures on the thread!

sixnearlyseven · 26/09/2015 16:30

Have been reading this thread for a while thought I would post. I am 11+2 with baby number 7 current children are 14, 12 11, 8 , 4 and2. I am 34 and live in Kent though originally from Glasgow.
Feeling ok at the moment still a bit sick, weeks 5_8 were horrendous with no energy and freezing cold but feeling gradually better now.
Have had one scan already at 9+6 due to having quite a large bleed, they found a 5 cm pocket of blood separate from baby who was ok and wriggling about. They said it would either absorbe back in womb or I would bleed again haven't so far.
5madthings I'm surprised they offered to induce I've been overdue with all six and never been offered. And I have big babies too largest 10lb 11

woundbobbin · 26/09/2015 18:21

Oopsnumber3 · 26/09/2015 19:23

Only one more day til scan day, woohoo!

CantWin · 26/09/2015 19:54

Love seeing all the lovely scans... Has anyone done any nub theories? I've posted elsewhere and all whom commented said girl! I have no idea what to even look at ha ha... hope ur all well xx

PallasCat · 26/09/2015 20:34

Lovely pic Mazzle!

Still no scan letter Sad 10 weeks today and super impatient for it!

pingoose · 26/09/2015 21:05

ample I've been craving frozen Coke - i had one today but shared it with DH. Also watermelon??
cantwin I've got no idea with the nub theory...tried to do SiL's and got it completely wrong!
pallas hopefully it comes soon, surely that's cutting it a bit close?

waxweasel · 26/09/2015 22:00

I have to admit I googled nub theory for some examples yesterday and had a go, comparing the new baby scan and DD1's. Sadly you cant see the nub in either so it was useless! Ah well. Had a go at skull theory too but that was even more flaky. We'll find out on 19 November, but I just want to know nowwwwwww!!!!

Want2bSupermum · 27/09/2015 01:34

mad I hear you. I'm so lucky with my obn group. They have done such an awesome job with my pregnancies. It was awesome that she has already submitted a complaint to the hospital on my behalf. Saves me from having to do it.

Want2bSupermum · 27/09/2015 01:40

Pressed the wrong button!

Bleeding always scares me. I knicker check throughout my pregnancies not just in the first 12 weeks! Glad though that everything is good.

ample I had a lot of flat coke when I was pregnant with DD. It saved me I swear.

6nearly7 I can't imagine having 6 let alone 7! Having 2 eighteen months apart has been hard and I am worried about having 3 under 5, even though it's only for a few months!

Rinnyx · 27/09/2015 09:22

I had to look up what all this nub talk was about.
Looking at the scan I'm thinking a boy but I've just got a gut feeling it's another boy anyway going by how different my pregnancies with DD and DS where, and I've said he or him a few times without thinking.

Roll of nov 19th
I wanted to wait till the birth but DP really wants to find out and I think it will be best as we are fighting so much over names and I HATE the boys name he wants, no bloody way!

tappitytaptap · 27/09/2015 10:00

Went to a baby shower last night and another friend who is 18 weeks pregnant was there i.e. 4 more weeks than me - and I have a bigger bump! I know there is only one in there so hoping it is not going to be huge!!

AmpleRaspberries · 27/09/2015 13:56

Rinny I can't wait to find out. Another girl would make life simple and I love the idea of dd having a sister as I'm close to mine and loved growing up with a sister (until we hit out teens). On the other hand a boy would be lovely too. I'm really not bothered, just want to know either way.

I dreamt last night that I had a boy, but was drunk and smoking whilst breast feeding him (I don't smoke and don't currently drink) so I think some anxiety may be setting in.

crumblybiscuits · 27/09/2015 18:43

We have just done names at 9+6 and I think we're pretty set. We have Walter (shortened to Walt) for a boy and Margot for a girl. I love them but think they are pretty marmite names so don't tell me if you hate them! Grin Anyone else decided?

PallasCat · 27/09/2015 19:41

We're not talking names yet, though I've always known DH's list (just two on it!) for girls. I have (longer!) lists for both but want to get over 12 week and scan hurdles before discussing.

Definitely planning on finding out gender (if LO cooperates, obviously!) I don't feel strongly that I want to find out, or that I don't, but DH really wants to, and also seems to have it in his head that it's a girl already, so thinking it would be good to know either way.

Thanks pingoose! Yeah MW said if it hadn't arrived by yesterday, to chase them up. Obviously today being Sunday I haven't as I'm sure there'll be no one to answer any questions. Hopefully I'll get in from work tomorrow with enough energy to pester someone - or even better, my letter will have arrived!

Ample I'm terrible for anxiety dreams Sad mostly MC themed at the moment, which is really horrible. I've always been a really vivid dreamer, and remember my dreams, so TBH I was expecting this kind of thing, but doesn't make it any easier to deal with!

Oopsnumber3 · 27/09/2015 20:49

If we've picked names before month 8 I'll die of shock!

crumblybiscuits · 27/09/2015 20:53

To be far we've been seriously talking baby names since February so it's only taken.. eight months to decide on a girl name haha.

pingoose · 27/09/2015 21:47

We've settled on 2 options for each (plus a few outsiders, depending on how brave we are on the day!) - we're not going to find out what we're having, so don't have to decide anything for a while. We've got a very boring, single syllable colour surname, so anything goes well!

Rinnyx · 28/09/2015 07:10

DP and I are both very different in a lot of things, names being one of them.
We where fighting soon as we decided to try for a 2nd right up to the drive for 6 month scan so I don't see it being any easer this time either
He hates all mine for both sexes and I'm the same for his.

Dreading work today as I was violently sick last night and same again today to the point i had a full on nosebleed, roll on halfterm!

Londonlady2015 · 28/09/2015 07:43

rinny should you be going in? Nosebleed doesn't sound good.
Probably tempting fate but haven't been sick since Friday so this week's challenge is to up my fruit and veg intake! This fetus is so far made of refined carbs!!

waxweasel · 28/09/2015 08:35

Oh Rinnyx, that sounds awful. I'd be tempted to just go and get signed off by the dr if I were you - DH is pushing me to do that and I'm seriously considering it. I am also running late for work as I couldn't stop being sick this morning Sad am 12+4 now so it should really be easing off trying to ignore the fact I was still vomiting at 32 weeks with DD. It's just so grim. And nobody really appreciates the effort you've made to drag yourself in feeling like this!

We are sort of sorted for names. We have a girl name that we are set on and both love, just minor quibbling over the middle name. Amazing as we really struggled for girl names with DD, then finally came up with 2 we loved and used them both! I thought I'd never find a name I love as much as hers and any other girl name would be a bit meh, but I do love love love this one and in my head, that is the baby's name. So hoping it's a girl for that reason!

We have a few options for a boy that we both like, but don't love any of them. DH really loves one particular name that I do like, but am just not totally sure about. So still some work to do there....

MrWriter · 28/09/2015 09:24

Morning all,

So the cat is out of the bag now, I told my two mates yesterday in the pub while watching the rugby, it'll be round the rest in minutes. I actually got a few texts from other friends last night to congratulate me! The joys of living in a tiny village!

As for names, we haven't even discussed it. Last time we were both convinced in was a boy and actually everyone except one nurse guessed boy, yet dh and I only had decided on a girls name! I knew I wanted my dads name in there for a boy but that was it!

I have a few in my head, but I'll not be discussing til 8mths, cant be arsed with the arguing!

AmpleRaspberries · 28/09/2015 13:59

Rinny Wax I've just been signed off by the Dr for my HG. Got mixed feelings about it tbh, partly relieved partly just wish I could get in with my job. I'm now going to miss out on finishing a really important piece of work that would have looked great on my cv (but external time constraints means work can't hold it for me). Although to be fair, if I was in work I would be neither use nor ornament.

Hope you're both feeling better soon
