FussyHendricks · 22/09/2015 15:46

My main symptoms (nausea and sickness) are fast disappearing. Still bloody knackered but don't think that's going to change anytime soon! Other than that I wouldn't say that I 'feel' very pregnant.

I told my team at work today - half had already guessed! It's the worst kept secret in my dept apparently Blush

pingoose · 22/09/2015 16:01

My symptoms are fast going as well. 9 weeks today and well enough for proper meals and back to the gym. I keep poking my boobs to make sure they're still sore!

My new problem seems to be insomnia. So I'm still exhausted all the time.
I'm starting to look properly chubby too, wondering how long I can keep quiet about it!

Rinnyx · 22/09/2015 16:06

I haven't felt pregnant at all.
I was looking at my scan notes and it seems my placenta is front and low :( so won't feel baby kick til much later on (felt other 2 DC early on)
I'm debating telling the teachers in my year I'm pregnant as I have a few children who hug my tummy really tight with no warning from behind and today a child ran up to me and hit (not a punch) me in my lower tummy as they ran past. My hand went right to my tummy in a protection type reaction

DizzyMerry · 22/09/2015 16:07

I'm 11+5 and my symptoms have almost disappeared too apart from the odd wave of nauseau. I've still got a bottomless pit though but weighed 7st 9lb at booking in so don't think I've put anything on. Can't remember what I weighed before that but have mostly always been around 8st. Not weighed myself for years.

I have my scan tomorrow and then an appointment with the consultant. I will be consultant led as DD was low birth weight and they want to keep an extra eye on me so I will be offered a few growth scans.

AmpleRaspberries · 22/09/2015 16:22

My symptoms seem to be increasing. I'm 9+6 today and had it confirmed that I have HG yesterday (not sure if I mentioned that already so forgive me if I'm repeating myself, I'm a bugger for it even without baby brain). Work are being great, thankfully, and I'm taking a few days off work and have cancelled plans for this weekend. It's definitely helping, I actually managed to cook some proper, nutritious food for DD and me for the first time in days so have hopefully staved off rickets for us all Grin

PallasCat · 22/09/2015 16:38

I'm 9+3 and symptoms have got markedly worse the last few days, much more nauseous, dizzy, wobbly. Had to keep my eyes away from a TV screen earlier as it felt like it was giving me vertigo.

Ooh envious waxweasel of your super-scan! Glad it went well too.

Still awaiting scan date.

Writer glad to hear DH is back in the good books! Hope you had a great time.

Dexlie0806 · 22/09/2015 18:34

Hi all. I haven't read back on todays posts yet but will soon.

Just wanted to check in to say scan went brilliantly. Everything looks great and nuchal fold in normal range at 1.6. I was so relieved when I saw the heartbeat I cried and that is so not me.

We r all on cloud nine at the min. I really thought things were gonna go horribly wrong with this pregnancy. I feel I can relax a little now Grin

Rinnyx · 22/09/2015 20:00

Glad to hear everything went well Dexlie

I'm just about to go to bed but just wanted to share I got a letter when I got in from work to say results from scan and bloods show that baby is low risk for downs, so relieved Smile

Mummyofonesofar · 22/09/2015 21:45

Haven't read back either but my scan went well both babies looked fab, one was such a wiggler. They have now put me at 12+3 Edd 2/4 Grin

meganlilly89 · 22/09/2015 22:40

Have posted in a while.. Had my scan yesterday and they have moved me forward and now 13+1 weeks with a due date of 28th March. Hoping I can now relax after that scan. X

tappitytaptap · 23/09/2015 10:17

I have my scan this afternoon, nervous and very excited at the same time!

waxweasel · 23/09/2015 11:29

Good luck tappitytap! And congratulations to everyone who had a happy scan/nuchal results back yesterday x

Mummyofonesofar · 23/09/2015 13:30

Rinny I would tell the teachers so they can watch out for you too, kids can be boistrous!

I am rather round already so most people can see I am clearly pg. Still being sick every few days, I think I was sick yesterday mostly because of the nerves of the scan, I was so sure something would be wrong!

Want2bSupermum · 23/09/2015 16:24

Well I still have nausea. My test results came back and I am anemic which explains the shortness of breath. I never had a problem in my first 2 pregnancies so it was odd that I had a problem this time around. I have also been extremely tired.

I am also very short tempered. My scan is booked for next week and I am ready to just scream at the manager there. When I called on Friday they only had the one appointment next Wednesday morning at 9.25am. I have a bloody job where I work 4 days a week. Next Wednesday isn't ideal for me at all and quite frankly moving my appointment up 2 days doesn't seem worth it to me at all. I made my appointment 3 weeks ago and I made it clear that I wanted my appointment this week just in case I am further along than the initial dates given. I was told that no, I must take an appointment next week. Well now there are no appointments left for this week for 12 week scans. To make the new appointment time work I have had to rearrange the kids ENT appointment which I had booked for 8am on the same day. The ENT can't reschedule both kids together so I am taking them both separately. Of course DH is travelling so it all falls on my shoulders. I am extremely tired and none of this extra crap is helping me conserve energy.

PallasCat · 23/09/2015 16:44

Sorry for all that hassle, Supermum.

Great news on scans/results Rinny, Mummy, Megan and Dexlie!

Hope yours is equally positive, tappity!

Heavenscent86 · 23/09/2015 16:47

Hi everyone. Just come across this thread. I had my 12 week scan on Monday and baby was looking good which is a major relief after two previous miscarriages. I'm 12+3, due date 3/4. Finally starting to feel a little excited. Does anyone know if it's at all possible to feel baby move this early? I feel crazy even thinking it but for the last 5 days or so I've had tapping and popping sensations along my bikini line. Not constant and quite faint usually. It doesn't really feel like any experience of gas I've had before.

CarrotVan · 23/09/2015 17:31

Early but possible heaven especially if you have a posterior placenta and are very slim

Heavenscent86 · 23/09/2015 17:38

I don't know about my placenta but I am very slim and have lost 10lb so unfortunately even slimmer than I was. Perhaps it is baby I'm feeling. I hope so as its a bit of a reassurance. I still feel scared even after the 12 week scan.

PallasCat · 23/09/2015 17:41

Welcome Heaven!

tappitytaptap · 23/09/2015 18:08

Scan was great, 13 weeks 5 days so due on 25th March, but will stick with you April guys if thats OK?

Oopsnumber3 · 23/09/2015 20:56

Of course tappity, I bet a lot of these babies will make early or late appearances and not be in April anyway! In my DS mn group, birthdays stretch from October to January!

Jenijena · 23/09/2015 21:22

I think I'm 12+5, (scan next week) and think I have felt movement. This is my second and didn't feel anything til 20 weeks last time, but for the past few days I've felt a weird fluttery feeling, although only on left hand side of tummy. I have quite a tummy too... Although I'm windy, this is different. So good to see I might not be the only one or there is someone else as delusional as me. My other feeling is that the scan will show nothing so going between one extreme and another...

Nausea slightly better past few

pingoose · 23/09/2015 21:46

Very jealous of all these exciting scans! Still got 2 weeks to wait until mine, the suspense is killing me!

So does anyone have advice about maternity jeans - do I want under bump or over bump? Any brand suggestions? I can probably get away with wearing black skinnies at work, so think I'll invest in some good ones.
