I'm 8+4 and bump is already really obvious! How?! Had to do a very strict edit of some pics with friends over the weekend as it was clearly visible.
Feel like it's mad to buy maternity gear this early, so I've ordered some loose tunic dresses and waterfall cardis and suchlike in the size up from my usual. Hopefully they'll tide me over.

Seeing the doctor tomorrow morning about my back. It's getting worse and worse - woke myself and DH up three times crying out in pain last night. Just hope something can be done about it! Off to yoga for the first time in ages tonight - that's got to be good. I've just been too tired to go the last few weeks even though I know I need to.

Great scan pics fussy and crumbly!

Welcome to the new arrivals in the last few days, too!

Lovely scan photo Fussy

Welcome Brooke

Peanutbutternutter419 · 16/09/2015 19:26

Hello all,
Sincere apologies to those who have had bad news and congratulations to all lucky ones.
I am 11+4 and scan is this Friday coming but I can't shake this anxiousness!!

MazzleDazzle · 16/09/2015 19:41

Wonderful scan pic fussy!

I have my booking appt tomorrow. I never go to the Dr's and will have to rope in my mum to watch my 2DC. I'm sure she'll get suspicious when she finds out where I'm going! Hope not. Really don't want to share the news just yet.

Hopefully my scan date will be on its way!

MazzleDazzle · 16/09/2015 19:42

Also, I live in a small village and the midwife clinic is fully booked tomorrow, so all of the local pregnant folk will be lined up in a row! Keeping this news under wraps is going to be tough.

crumblybiscuits · 17/09/2015 03:38

Anyone else ravenous at night? DD and I just snuck downstairs for a late midnight snack as the hunger was hurting it was so intense! Must keep snacks in bedside table even if toddler will scoff them all in the morning.

Rinnyx · 17/09/2015 07:14

Im already finding I can't eat big meals and needing the loo more often, not helpful when working in a school Blush

Having to cover today so just hope the day speeds by and 4pm gets here for the scan.
DP is now picking me up from work and coming to the scan tho we will have to take DS along too.

crumblybiscuits · 17/09/2015 07:59

Good luck Rinny

pingoose · 17/09/2015 08:07

Yup rinny me too - first I couldn't manage a full dinner, and today dropped breakfast too. Feel awful as I'm snacking all day and not going to the gym, very unlike me.

MrWriter · 17/09/2015 09:37

Beautiful picture fussy

My scan's tomorrow morning, I had an early one but they want me back because it was too early. DH missed the first one and I had him reminded continuously about this one, then last night some twat phoned up looking him to work tonight and tomorrow. grrrr. Its out of the country and apparently he just cant say no. Think I might change the locks while he's away Wink pillock.

pokes head around corner

I know I've identified real folk on mn so haven't posted here but been following since v early days. Edd April 1st. Don't have a scan til 13+4 though and don't want to do much celebrating til then.

This is my second, after two years of trying (we had just about given up hope, and I knew fertility treatment wasn't really for me) so really keeping everything crossed. Last time I didn't get sickness til 2nd trimester but have been pretty ill, on or off, since week 5. Last night threw up several times overnight (how is that fair? I wanted to sleep) so taken today off as still feeling v grim.

Hey people

Just popping in in my sporadic way to say hello! Firstly, I am so sorry to hear your news mrstea and fee. Flowers Am so sorry for your losses ladies.

A muted but heartfelt congratulations to the healthy scans and babies. Lovely news for you all! pallascat I am 8+4 today and I have a bump showing Shock trousers are getting tight but, like you, am not in maternity yet. I can't really even though it would be lovely as I would forget to hide it all then! So bigger clothes and a loose kimono it is!

Had an early scan last week and saw my little bean measuring perfect for my dates, HB beating away... such an incredible sight. I still can't believe I am pregnant though I had my booking-in yesterday, a homebirth booked, I have my pg notes, my flu jab booked, a positive scan etc I still feel like am making it up. And this is DC3! You'd think I'd be more with it by now wouldn't you?! It'll be real when we've told people. I have some dear friends who recently had a mmc. They don't know we are pg yet but it will hit them hard so they have to know before anyone else :( (been there, felt that unique stab in the heart at hearing about a friend's pg news after your own mc).

UG I feel sicketty sick. Big sympathies to all of you who are actually being sick. I had a tummy bug at the weekend and it was NOT nice. Am just constantly nauseous until about 7pm when I suddenly get starving and eat everything!

Anyways, I rabbit on. Be well everyone :)

MazzleDazzle · 17/09/2015 12:17

In some ways watermaid I think the co start nausea is worse. There is some relief after being sick, albeit fleeting!

Good luck with the scans today Rinnyx and MrWriter.

My booking appt is at 2:30pm. Will have to take DD2 with me. She's 4! Hopefully she won't twig. So long as the midwife doesn't mention the words pregnant or baby I might get away with it. Hmm

MazzleDazzle · 17/09/2015 12:18

constant not co start!

CarrotVan · 17/09/2015 12:35

I've had my booking in appointment. Lots of blood taken. After my scan at 13 wks I need to meet the consultant and have an anaesthetic assessment for a planned section as I have narrow vertebrae gaps and had an emcs last time. All fine - BMI 24!

FussyHendricks · 17/09/2015 14:15

I hadn't checked the dates for Easter Trijo but you're right, my DD is Easter Sunday. ????I think nervous excitement is the best way of describing how I felt yesterday before the scan Dexlie & Tapity! Seeing bub moving around on screen made it seem very real. ????Excited for all those with scans coming up. I'm looking forward to seeing more scan pictures! ????

MazzleDazzle · 17/09/2015 16:45

Booking appt went well. Got to go back in 2 weeks for bloods. Scan date will be in the post - midwife thinks 4th Oct. Thankfully I've got a private one booked for 26th Sept, which isn't long away at all.

I've declined the nuchal fold test as I wouldn't act on the results, so seems pointless. Is anyone else not having this test? Didn't have this type of testing last 2 pregnancies either.

PallasCat · 17/09/2015 16:48

Got a diagnosis on my back today - doctor was great, took loads of time to examine me thoroughly even though they were running way behind schedule due to an emergency with an earlier patient, and obviously she didn't want to refer me for an xray unless absolutely necessary. What I have done is rip the shoulder muscle which joins the spine off the spine. Kind of gratified that it at least sounds as painful as it is! It will heal but will take months. Sad I'm basically not allowed to lift/pull/carry/throw or in any way have force exerted on my right arm/shoulder. This also means that I'm not allowed to do yoga. Pretty frustrated about the restrictions, but glad to finally know what's going on, and that it will get better over time. Only treatment is restricting movement and apply heat. She said if not for PG she'd treat with voltarol, and also said I could use DeepHeat, even though the packaging will say not to... think I'll wait until I'm further along before I even consider that though.

Ha ha Mazzle made me laugh! How did it go? Did she twig?!

Watermaid my ASOS order of waterfall cardis and very loose skater style dresses arrived today! Woohoo! Very excited to be able to get dressed tomorrow without having a crisis!

Welcome Jeni!

PallasCat · 17/09/2015 16:48

X-post mazzle! Glad it went well Smile

Rinnyx · 17/09/2015 16:52

Well just had my scan and finally know when peanut is due.
April 1st, DP liked to point out an April fools baby.
DS is super excited and already calling it 'his baby'...something tells me the reception teachers will find out tomorrow at work Hmm

Everything is fine, baby had hands up by its head and we even heard the heartbeat.
Pics are now £4 each Shock but lady gave us an extra pic for free

crumblybiscuits · 17/09/2015 16:54

Mazzle My last pregnancy baby had a huge nuchal fold measurement, turned out she had a chromosonal abnormality and heart defect that made her incompatible with life. She was born at 16 weeks in May so I will be having the testing for one. I never thought it would change my mind either until it happened to me.

crumblybiscuits · 17/09/2015 16:58

Congratulations Rinny! What a lovely picture.

FussyHendricks · 17/09/2015 17:04

Congrats Rinnyx! Lovely scan pic!

poco2015 · 17/09/2015 18:07
