Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

What's the difference. Think it's the booking in one. She said to allow an hour

TriJo · 05/08/2015 15:14

Haha, LMP means somewhere in the region of fuck all in my case. Got my BFP on CD80 - which doesn't help matters!

CountryGal4 · 05/08/2015 15:14

All I know is I don't need to take anything!

5hell · 05/08/2015 15:15

EPU finally answered, but it's all rather anticlimactic I'm afraid. It was the same (lovely ) nurse who I dealt with during my mc; she said as bleeding has stopped and I have no pain, feel ok and my pg symptoms are contimuing then I should just relax and assume everything is ok...so i guess that's what i'll do. Maybe i'm being fobbed off, but they seemed good last time. She did say if I have any more bleeding to contact them immediately, but tbh if i have any more bleeding i may just get dh to take me to A&E.

tri i reckon they will book you in for an early scan to get a better idea of your dates.

ThursdayLast · 05/08/2015 15:25

Hi Tri! And welcome Grin

country just lots and lots of questions about health. I think. I don't really remember.

5hell I feel certain they wouldn't fob you off, but there's not really much they can do I suppose? I still think it's good you got on their radar.

Really really hoping the MW calls again tomorrow. I want to get my appointments rolling. Come on! I'm 8 weeks!

CarrotPuff · 05/08/2015 15:44

I'm 9w tomorrow and still haven't got a booking in letter Confused

Tri if they don't give you a scan and just take LMP then you'll get your "12" week scan soon enough anyway Wink

CountryGal4 · 05/08/2015 15:51

I didn't get a letter. I had to self refer and call mw direct and arranged an appointment over the phone. It seems really wrong that everywhere is different in the uk. Surely there should be some sort of industry standard

MrsTattoo · 05/08/2015 15:52

carrot I would be chasing that up, might of got lost in the post?

country I have my booking appointment on Wednesday, I will be exactly 8 weeks. Hoping they will give me an early scan as we have multiple sets of twins and triplets on mine and DH sides - hoping for only one though! 2 or more may cause a mental breakdown!

5hell glad they finally answered and don't seem too worried, I would possibly request an early scan to reassure you both or maybe book a private one?

Viroids TMI but my sickness kicked up a gear today and I actually emptied my stomach for the first time into the kitchen sink rather than just feeling a bit pukey Blush I can't wait to get past this stage!

CarrotPuff · 05/08/2015 16:08

Yeah I think I'll call them if nothing tomorrow. I think she said they will be sending out letters on Monday when I called them last week...

CountryGal4 · 05/08/2015 16:15

Don't think mw is going to approve of my diet of lucozade and breadsticks :s

ThursdayLast · 05/08/2015 16:19

I reckon if this thread is a national indicator they might be a bit over run with organising booking in appointments at the mo!

It doesnt really matter when you see them viroids, I was nearly 11 weeks last time as we couldn't get our schedules to work together, and I didn't gave to wait a whole fortnight before my scan.

mountaingirl01 · 05/08/2015 16:21

5hell glad they didn't seem to worried, but does seem a little heartless they didn't have you in for scan

tri lol I had the same problem, I haven't had af in over 10 years! But had miscarried 6 weeks before getting this bfp, so they had something to go by. They should book you in for early scan- but don't count on it.... as carrot said, at least it means your "12" week should be soon!

honeysucklejasmine · 05/08/2015 16:30

5hell that's good, I guess, but I can imagine also a bit frustrating. Can you pay for an early scan anywhere? (If you want one.)

Keep heaving. Prob going to throw up again soon. I though sickness was supposed to tail off towards 12 weeks, not get worse! Envy

CarrotPuff · 05/08/2015 16:31

Thursday I'm a bit worried I might be anaemic as I gave blood 2 weeks before my BFP. So I was hoping I would find out.

jellypi3 · 05/08/2015 16:33

MrsT I empied my stomach of half digested rice and chicken last week into the kitchen sink too! Classy!

Tri welcome :)

Country first appointment for me was lots of questions, bmi and that was it. No blood or urine taken until later.

ThursdayLast · 05/08/2015 16:35

Invoke the law of sod carrot make an appointment with your GP Grin

MrsTattoo · 05/08/2015 17:06

thursday you might be right! The jshaggers are definately putting the NHS to work at the moment!

jelly I'm glad I'm not alone at the kitchen sink. DH called me classy when I told him when he popped home for lunch but he did change the cat box for me at the same time to save the sink another dose. It must be love!

Jacket potato & veggie chilli with sour cream for dinner, I'm clawing at the oven begging it to cook faster!

MollyBloomYes · 05/08/2015 17:17

country they asked me about any hereditary conditions from me or DH, lifestyle, history of surgery/hospital stays, mental health history etc. They also have to ask about domestic violence so if Mr country is attending (he doesn't have to) he may well be asked to step out the room for that bit. I had bloods and urine taken. Oh, and they'll explain the screening programme and ask if you want screening eg for downs. They can't go ahead with that at the scan unless midwife has ticked you've given informed consent. Make sure you ask for your free prescription for to be signed, I forgot and had to wait aaaages to get it sorted!

5hell glad they're not worried but still a bit of limbo for you. I guess no news is good news?

CarrotPuff · 05/08/2015 18:13

Haha Thursday I might do!

MrsT your DH should always change cat litter box while you're pg due to risk of toxoplasmosis. I would mention that to him!

Purpleball · 05/08/2015 18:16

5hell hope you're feeling reassured, I'm sure they'd have done more if they were concerned

Tri, welcome aboard and congratulations Grin

I just got pressies from work for me and the baby, I'm really chuffed, there's some lovely stuff Smile
Spent some vouchers already Grin and bought a feeding cushion and babycare kit with hairbrush, nail clippers etc
And I know I wasn't going to get a cushion but it can be used for tummy time, and to prop baby up etc and it wasn't my money really and I wanted it

CarrotPuff · 05/08/2015 18:20

Oh Purple how lovely!

CarrotPuff · 05/08/2015 18:21

Which reminds me Indigo you still haven't told us anything about that surprise baby shower?

honeysucklejasmine · 05/08/2015 19:24

Purple that's lovely!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/08/2015 20:50

Evening all!

5hell hoping no news is good news for you.

To those who have yakked I found with DD I was nauseated all the time but only every threw up when tired or stressed.

I've got my first hospital appointment tomorrow. I need to see an endocrinologist as I am hypothyroid. I'm only 6 weeks 4 days but the letter says I will see midwife and can expect to be there about 1 hour. Will this be my booking in with midwife? Have already done Q and A with GP. A bit sad as DP will miss it, he's got DSD tomorrow and she's not been told yet... I'm hoping I get an early scan. GP says I will be shared between obstetrician and midwives due to my condition. I'm also 36 so perhaps that makes me higher risk? I'm in London if that helps?

Mexican eggs and roast potatoes for supper. My reward for taking tourist friends to Gordon's Wine Bar and not being able to partake...

honeysucklejasmine · 05/08/2015 21:06

Omg, OBEM. The first lady in the red trakkie.... Is she drinking Red Bull?!?!?!
