Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Just catching up, honey good luck today! Looking forward to seeing your scan pic.

pud I have been notable achey/uncomfortable this past week, don't know if it's linked to anxiety or just pregnancy pains. It's never severe or painful, so I guess it must be stretching/growing etc.

5hell Flowers good luck Monday and will be thinking of you. What time is your appointment at EPAU?

thursday try not to worry as after my last spotting episode (which was only brown, no red) I told the midwife at my 16 week appointment and she was actually very dismissive, saying brown blood is old blood and it could've been from a long time ago (urgh). So this could easily be left over from your last bleed, you could also be one of those lucky people like me who has a bit of spotting from the cervix throughout pregnancy! Have had it at almost 9 and 16 weeks so far but I'm fully expecting to get it again at some point, I'm even having a private scan the day I go on holiday for a week as Sod's law it will happen while I'm away and I will freak out - at least if I've seen all is well with baby a few days before I can console myself with that. When it happened at 16 weeks I paid for a private scan, but it's up to you if you want to be scanned or not, you might be much calmer than me!

jelly my movements are often still very low down now at 19+6. For about a week they were in a very specific place on my right side, about halfway between my belly button and top of knickers, so baby was obviously lying across me, but now he's clearly moved and imagine he's in breech position as the kicks are really low! To be honest you probably won't know for sure if what you're feeling are movements or not until a few weeks time - I started feeling something at 15 weeks but only now that they're much stronger do I know it was baby! At the time I thought it could've been a muscle twitch. Don't worry though it's still early to feel, I think most people say you start to feel something between 18-20 weeks on your first, but some are even later.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/08/2015 10:15

I know, what a prat. Got a nurse phoning me at 2.30 so I shall have to suffer til then!

Lookingforadvice123 · 14/08/2015 10:18

Cross post with would that's RIDICULOUS. What "more sinister" thing has the same symptoms of thrush? I imagine the most the doctor/midwife will do is ask for a urine sample, then give you a prescription anyway.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/08/2015 10:24

It's insane isn't it?! Thing is, if I was as anxious as I was in my first pregnancy I would have been in a right state. As it was I just looked a bit Hmm and left with my yogurt granola pot in a sulk.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/08/2015 10:26

Oh and it's pissing it down and apparently I have a hole in my boot so I have a soggy foot

CarrotPuff · 14/08/2015 10:39

jelly your uterus rises above pubic bone at about 12w, and reaches belly button at 20w. So at 16w it must be about half way up between the two.

would what a twat. Can you go to Boots or alike where you just pick it up from the shelf?

RhiannonElward · 14/08/2015 11:16

Morning all and Happy due date Indigo :)

Would that is bollocks and your pharmacist is useless. As others have said, just try somewhere else.

oneyorkshirepud · 14/08/2015 11:26

And this is why 12 year old boys should not be pharmacists - what a twerp.

Loving the nipple pubes ladies, we are a classy lot. Other than the stomach beard (which weirdly is blonde) I am less hairy since being upduffed... odd.

Jelly, my DH told me that he saw a lexus parked at the traffic lights the other day so he had a look at the driver because he thought she would be fit. (Apparently lexus drivers are fit?) And the woman driving the car was tweasing out her chin hairs while waiting for the lights to change. Was this you?! Shock He was horrified ha ha serves him right for perving!

Purpleball · 14/08/2015 11:40

doesn't drive a Lexus but has tweezed chinnies out when driving

The bane of my life is excess hair. It seems to be growing more slowly in pregnancy so keeping up with it has been ok. I'm going to have laser treatment. I had it booked last year then got preg so only managed one session. I then plucked out all the growth. Then lost the baby!
Since then growing my chinnies has not been high on the list and snipping them or shaving is not fun makes me feel like a freak

Also have nipple pubes too Hmm

The joys of PCOS and hormones Angry

Niffertiti · 14/08/2015 12:18

Will catch up later but just to say scan all went well and we are team girl! Astounded, I was convinced it was a boybe. Pix later on FB.

Honey I've had my gx for your scan day too, hope it all went well.

I've always had nipple pubes. I'm not great at tweezing them either...

CarrotPuff · 14/08/2015 12:31

Congrats Niff!

DP picked up DS from nursery yesterday and forgot to pick up the pram (he was driving). Now I have to drag DS all the way to the nursery to pick it up as DP might not get there by the time it closes Confused

Indigoblue2 · 14/08/2015 12:32

Congrats niff - welcome to team girl!!

Lookingforadvice123 · 14/08/2015 13:21

Aw congrats on the girl niff! Glad all else was well.

Just went for a swim (1000m, go me) and on the walk back home I got a horrible sharp pain round my belly button, took my breath away a bit and it's only slightly calmed down sitting getting home and sitting down. Sign that I just shouldn't exercise?!

jellypi3 · 14/08/2015 13:29

yay team girl niff :) can't believe you've had your scan already!!

no i don't drive a lexus, don't think i've ever plucked in the car, normally at home lol!

5hell · 14/08/2015 13:51

Oh god i cant cope with the thought of getting any hairier! Already had a belly beard Blush

Stuck in car with dn & dn...one of whom insists on singing even though he is tone deaf...its going to be a long 6 hrs Cake for me, ha!

CarrotPuff · 14/08/2015 13:58

Looking maybe you've overdone it a bit, have you been exercising before? Just take it easy for the rest of the day.

I need to make some effort and tidy up a bit but just can't be arsed... having toast with jam and reading crap on MN instead!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 14/08/2015 14:13

Hallo Girls! I have been AWOL due to feeling excessively down and sicky and struggling to keep up with normal shit, let alone important shit, let alone additional shit. I am still excessively down and sicky. Don't have a clue what has happened on here, but based on page the last, indi is due today (hurrah!), 5hell finally got an EPU appointment (thank god!), and people are worried about hair.
STOP WORRYING ABOUT HAIR, VIROIDS! IT IS ALL A BUNCH OF MYSOGYNIST MINDFUCKING. We have hair. If it wasn't useful, it wouldn't be there. If it was truly unattractive, evolution would have cleared it from our bodies years ago as no-one would have shagged, like, ever.
I had my 7w scan today (which is why I thought I should drop by and update) and all looks well. Just the one popsickle, heart beating away. The doctor told me to stop my progesterone. I'm unsure.
Okay I'm going back to lie moaning and miserabling on my bed.
Stay strong, viroids.

5hell · 14/08/2015 14:46

Yay! Star for your good scan auf Grin

Hope you feel better/more normal soon. You're right we shouldn't worry about hairiness, but its imprinted, its too late and we cant help it blame gillette ;)

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/08/2015 15:00

auf glad the scan went well, but sorry you're feeling so rotten. Hope it improves soon.

Spoke with doc, she basically thinks pharmacist is a knob for saying something "so inappropriate" - I love her!

Bit of a downer though - been bleeding this afternoon. Roll on scan on Tuesday

Purpleball · 14/08/2015 16:03

Auf you made me laugh. Hope you feel better soon

Niff hurray for a girlbe....thought all viroid babies were going to be boys. I can't remember who else is having a girl - Deeply or Indigo?

Officially I have 8 hours left at work SmileSmileSmileSmile
Looks like I will actually have to work them to get everything cleared off SadSadSadSad

Purpleball · 14/08/2015 16:05

Cake I had that with aspirin. The hospital prescribed the wrong stuff and the pharmacist wouldn't give me it over the counter because I was pregnant!

jellypi3 · 14/08/2015 16:26

oh no would are you ok? gx it's just "normal" bleeding

batfish · 14/08/2015 16:28

Aww congrats on the girl niff, how lovely. I am 99.9% convinced we are having a boy, I will be utterly shocked if I pop out a girl!

Well I've survived the baby shower. It was really lovely but I just felt uncomfortable being the centre of attention. They did loads of beautiful decorations and baby bat got loads of fab gifts - my friend who hosted had asked everyone to bring a book and write in it instead of a card. So we've got loads of awesome kids books with lovely messages in. I feel so lucky to have such fab friends and family but just wish I could have opened the gifts without everyone staring at me haha.

batfish · 14/08/2015 16:29

Aww hope you're OK would

ThursdayLast · 14/08/2015 16:35

I thought you could just buy aspirin? Is that not the case any more?

Well done on surviving the baby shower bat I hated mine for pretty much the reasons you describe, but one mustn't be ungrateful Wink

I was like 38 weeks or something, I think everyone had been waiting for me to hint but I just wasn't bothered!

would hope you're ok Thanks
And tea too Thanks
