Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Mw app Tuesday.... Just had my scan date through in the post. They seem bloody switched on here. Shame I can't make it as at a festival!

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 17:53

Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you all of you

Your kind and rational words have lifted my outlook no end Smile
I shall just look forward to my scan.

This years Bounty pack is a load of old shit.

Indigoblue2 · 13/08/2015 17:55

thursday sorry you are feeling so shit. I do think you can demand a section due to a previous horrendous birth. I know pixie spoke about it on here and told us her birth the first time round has resulted in bad pelvic floor issues etc, and she managed to get a section for dc2. Like others have said, you maybe just have to be extremely firm.

niff sadly I didn't replicate myself before Epi-no.. I wish I had! Would it comfort you to know that the three studies I have read, plus the other stats that have been given from midwife led birth places have all shown a reduction in perineal damage by using the Epi-No? Who knows if I will tear or need an episiotomy, but one thing is for sure, if I'd have tried to go to 8cms in the beginning, let alone 10, it would have been total agony and felt like it was splitting me in two Shock Now 10cms is barely even uncomfortable. Even if I have to stretch another 1-2cms outwith my comfort zone during birth, it's better than having to go 5-6cms from what I can tolerate!!

RhiannonElward · 13/08/2015 18:08

Indigo I am convinced of the Epi-No's powers and very impressed by your superflange. I am mostly too impoverished to buy one and will just have to suck it up as my weak and inferior fanjo is torn asunder during birth. I assure you that at the very moment it goes I will be thinking of you Grin

I reckon it might be a useful tool for constipation when you're finished too Wink

MollyBloomYes · 13/08/2015 18:08

Huh. I just had to sign self in as well. Obviously still some glitches in the system!

Thursday your midwife sounds like a right knobber. Having just had my consultant appointment the first thing theybasked was what I wanted to do and we're very big on supporting the woman in her choices. So fret not I'm sure your consultant will be far more sensible than your scaremongering midwife. Don't forget that mental health is just as valid a medical reason as anything physical.

Well Baby bloom is looking marvellous, no issues and a right wriggler! And we are still none the wiser gender wise. Though I think I saw something twig and giggleberries esque but could just have been a hand, who knows?! Can start SHOPPING now!

RhiannonElward · 13/08/2015 18:11

Congratulations Molly, happy shopping Grin

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 18:16

Yippee Molly! So glad you had a lovely scan. What's first on your list?

I'm getting a new (to me) pushchair the very second I get out of that dating scan all being well of course. I think I'll need it for DS excuses excuses

oneyorkshirepud · 13/08/2015 18:22

Yey shopping!! --I'm on holiday from tomorrow and totally going to buy ridiculous/overpriced baby stuff in the Lake District, mwahahaha!'-

MollyBloomYes · 13/08/2015 18:50

Pushchair, cot and newborn cloth kit. Parents have said they want to get something so will present them with a wishlist and Mil getting us poddlepod. Loads more to get but those are the biggest priority I think.

Off to preggo yoga and massively can't be arsed. Maybe I'll get into it once there Hmm

honeysucklejasmine · 13/08/2015 18:50

Great news Molly!

Noisy cat just brought in a dead bird. DH removed it from her and put it out, and she's now sniffing around really confused as to where it has gone!

CarrotPuff · 13/08/2015 19:38

Congrats on the scan Molly! Happy shopping!

Oh no honey, I hate when they do that... But then they are hunters after all...

oneyorkshirepud · 13/08/2015 20:09

Cannot. Stop. Eating. Grin

RhiannonElward · 13/08/2015 20:53

I'm with you Pud, I just ate a monster spaghetti bolognese and I have two jam and cream scones flirting with me from the fridge. They are dirty little buggers but I like it Wink

deeplybaffled · 13/08/2015 20:56

indigo - have got mine and been trying, but your stats put mine to shame. If I'm measuring it right - and that is a big if - I've only got to 6.5cm so far Hmm. 37 weeks today, so telling myself i have time to improve !

Niffertiti · 13/08/2015 22:02

Glad scan went well Molly and happy shopping!

DH made rice pudding for after our tea and has left me an enormous pan full so I can comfort eat it all weekend when he's gone. I loves that man I does!

I'm increasingly convinced by this epi-no, indigo. It's just so bloody expensive, but then I do like my fanjo just as it is...

Niffertiti · 13/08/2015 22:04

Oh, and Gouda we normally find out sex at 20w scan, if we want to. It's too soon at 12w and we get nothing in between...

jellypi3 · 13/08/2015 22:14

The Epi-no scares me lol

Indigoblue2 · 13/08/2015 22:25

deeply I'm not sure what you mean by measuring it? Just hold it up to the chart and see what the width is. I think there's a bit in the videos where you see her doing it?

5hell · 13/08/2015 22:45

If by some miracle i continue to be pg, i think i will splash out on the epino

Finally have epu appt monday...now im on breakthrough bleed plus 3 more bleeds

Rhi...we had spag bol too - yummy but feeling v bloated now sigh

RhiannonElward · 13/08/2015 23:06

5hell Flowers gx for good news on Monday but I'm feeling optimistic on your behalf. Do you have any pains along with the bleeding? Do you still have pregnancy symptoms? You have had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get an appointment, and if you have pain I'd just go to the hospital and get some answers sooner rather than later.

deeplybaffled · 13/08/2015 23:11

indigo - just not sure I'm doing it right! Should you keep the paper flat or curve it round the widest bit of the balloon? Or do you just hold it up at the bottom of the page and gauge it as best you can by eye? #mathematical incompetent
at the moment, have given up on the chart entirely and using a tspe measure to check the circumference of the widest bit and then converting back to diameter.
i suspect i may be over thinking this just a tad.....

Toast85 · 14/08/2015 05:56

Any other 5am clubbers today?
I have been awake since 3.30. Happy days or not

Had a mw appointment and bp was high. Urine sample was fine- no protein, but she took some extra bloods to check in case I'm developing preeclampsia. So Gx they're fine- I will find out today. Bp was only just at the level where they check, so hopefully all ok. Though I've been suspecting it would be higher and have seen it just rising slightly every appointment so far. Trying not to worry now though and stay away from Google. Though the NICE guidelines for preeclampsia and hypertension in pregnancy provided strange comfort at 4am.

5hell- wow they've kept you waiting a long time for that appointment. Hope everything is ok.

Niff- homemade rice pudding! He's a keeper! How long until you go and join your DH? Enjoy your time together.

Molly- (which comes up as milky on my autocorrect!) congrats for your scan!

honeysucklejasmine · 14/08/2015 06:05

I'm here. Just reading back now.

honeysucklejasmine · 14/08/2015 06:09

I tried to buy some aspirin (midwife's orders) yesterday and they said I needed a prescription! For a 50p pack of aspirin!

Midwife friend says just ask for "child's aspirin" and pretend you have a kid. The stuff on the shelf is too high dose. I am going to try somewhere different today, bigger shop, hopefully they will stock it on shelves.

Scan in 4 hours, 40 minutes. Not that I am counting.
