Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

honey that's so annoying! You will definitely get a letter if you were flashed at 37 in a 30, I think they only tend to let you off 10% over the limit, and maybe 1 or 2 mph more but in a 30 I imagine it's less. Do the speed awareness course though if it's offered! When I was caught 5 years ago I wasn't even offered it as I was going too fast Blush sounds awful but I was doing 80mph on the motorway on a traffic-less Sunday! I think the fine is slightly less than the course (£80?) but it's worth doing not to get the points.

I wouldn't worry about your insurance either, I swear it didn't make a difference to mine, they were actually very dismissive about it.

Morning all!

I too would much prefer a surgeon to be able see where they're cutting when doing a section! Sure a spot light would be on the baby as its dragged out, making dimmed lights elsewhere a bit pointless?

Anyways

Booking in today. I don't remember if I will be asked about my preferred way to give birth today, but I'm v nervous that I will have to justify my desire for an elcs. I'm not sure I can describe my fears eloquently. I really hope the new community MW is sympathetic.

Thinking of you Indigo!

oneyorkshirepud · 13/08/2015 07:36

Gave DH the people's elbow at 5am this morning when Eris woke up. He an aged to get her back to sleep for a full two hours until my alarm went off! It's a sign that he has a gift and should therefore help with all kitten/baby settling matters. Mwahahaha!

Purple, have you done your play list for your CS? Will be nice to have a calm atmosphere.

jellypi3 · 13/08/2015 07:37

honey whe my friend did a speed awareness course his premium actually went down!

ga hopefully about 8 weeks, no chain either side so could be less

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 07:38

Three cheers for the pud elbow!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/08/2015 07:39

There is hope. Feeling better about it this morning. Still feel stupid, but oh well. At least I know its coming in the post.

8 weeks! That's really exciting!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/08/2015 07:43

Thanks Looking! If you'd lived where I do they would have offered you the course for 80mph! Very annoying.

Thursday have fun! Don't worry at all.

Pud as in Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?! People's Elbow? Amazing!

Toast85 · 13/08/2015 07:51

Great news jelly! Will there be much you want/need to do to the house when you get there?

Pud how is Eris doing? Is she all better now?

jellypi3 · 13/08/2015 08:28

Well because we are combining two house holds worth of furniture into one I don't think we will need to buy much but I'll probably want to decorate a few of the rooms (esp the nursery). My grandad was a painter and decorator for 40 odd years so I can't see him moving to a house and not decorating it (though it's massive and he's 70 so not a spring chicken lol)

We need some babies born soon don't we! I hope la, dulcet and fleur are all ok with their bubbas :)

Niffertiti · 13/08/2015 08:40

Hello viroids! I've been lurking a bit this week but not much time for posting, it's dh's last week in the country. So far this week we've packed up the house; had the removal men here yesterday so all the big stuff has gone; done our big nursery shop and got that sent to Pickfords for shipping; rented out the house (gx); and finally found somewhere to live at the other end (again gx), plus temporary accommodation for me in Bangkok for when I'm waiting to have the baby.

Now just got work today (about which I just Do Not Care right nowSad) then 20wk scan tmrw morning and delivering dh to the airport tmrw evening. Phew. Will report back on what flavour microniff is provided they can tell - exactly 19w tmrw so hoping baby will give us a good flash of his bits (it's a boy, I'm in no doubt about it).

I've booked a pregnancy massage for sat afternoon, cannot bloody wait! Even tho it will mean dh will have gone and I'll be all aloneHmm.

Now I've typed that all out it does sound like rather a lot.

Jelly hoorah on the house, hope it all goes through. And glad Eris is going strong pud, she sounds like a champ to me.

In other exciting news (for those of you who are excited by this sort of thing) my first lot of reusable nappies arrived yesterdayGrin. I'm trying totsbots and bumgenius elementals aios, and flips pockets. Plus little lambs and motherease sandys shaped plus motherease wraps for night. I may or may not have some other second hand ones on the way tooBlush.... They're all sooooo pretty!

gaggiagirl · 13/08/2015 08:52

I believe its indigos due date tomorrow. This means that there will be no chance she will be pushing tomorrow.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 13/08/2015 09:00

Thursday - I don't think you are obliged to fall over yourself trying to explain, though they might push you because obviously CS is the most expensive option. Anything you say they will probably try and refute anyway as they seem to push strongly for traditional birth.

If it's something you feel really strongly about, then maybe give one solid reason and then just stick to your guns? Try and stay strong! I believe guidelines say that a woman cannot be routinely offered a CS with no medical reason, but that is different to saying that she must be REFUSED if she lodges a strong request.

pretzel - I don't get TGGBO here sadly, but I'm gutted to have missed the biscuit episode! Spent a good while looking at different biscuit recipes last night so would have appreciated the inspiration! What was the best looking biscuit? Also, cauliflower cheese? Large vegetable content! It's practical a health food!

Yorkshire and others with pillow forts - they sound AMAZING!!!! Do they prevent you from rolling over onto your back? I need to get some sort of support, but it's just too hot at the moment.

I've been having some really painful episodes of gas recently. Like, actual bad cramping, very uncomfortable bloating and gurgling, etc. I haven't changed my diet so must just be "one of those things" Sad Hope the rest of you manage to avoid it!

jellypi3 · 13/08/2015 09:09

gouda I get quite painful bouts of trapped wind some times, it hurts to move. Luckily I've not had it for a few weeks :)

jellypi3 · 13/08/2015 09:14

Anyone heard anything from auf recently?

Oh and 16w today :D

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/08/2015 09:18

I watched GBBO yesterday. I had never seen it, I walked into the living to and it was on. Within 4 mins I was shouting at the TV... Damn it's good.

Itchy rash on my neck again this am but the cystic acne is better. Accidentally dyed my hair neon pink yesterday... Will post pics to FB group.

Purpleball · 13/08/2015 09:18

I don't know about the lights thing. It was at mummynatal where they are all about calm. I said I hadn't done my birth plan and didn't know what to put on it.
One girl said she was taking a portable blackout blind for when she's in hospital

I've started a playlist. I need to add more and put it on a cd and an iPod just in case

Honey it was more than 3 years ago and I'm pretty sure you only declare points not speed awareness courses

Niff, enjoy your last few days with DH. Sounds rough for you both but not long til you're over there

Indigo, how you doing?

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 09:26

Thanks gouda - I'm hoping previous bad labour will be reason enough. Hey ho, I'm pretty certain I'm far far far too scared of labouring again, so I guess I'll just have to keep kicking up a fuss if I need to. I just hope I don't need to.

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 09:30

Niff enjoy your last few days with DH. I think a massage sounds like an excellent way to get used to being on your own Smile

16 weeks is a loveky round number I think jelly!

I'm sure it'll be fine whatever happens purple - what kind of things are you putting on your playlist?

Niffertiti · 13/08/2015 10:10

Viroids just to say there's 40% off some hotmilk nursing bras online. I highly recommend, I've been wearing them since about 10w and they are amazingly comfortable as maternity bras, also lovely. Admittedly you can get cheaper but they are so much better than the cheaper h&m and m&s ones I've tried. Obvs not used them for nursing yet but the clips are much sturdier feeling than the cheaper bras I've looked at.

I am also just quite overexcited by having actual BOOBS for the first time ever so am celebrating them with pretty undies... Grin

Purpleball · 13/08/2015 10:11

I think I'm overthinking it. I just thought him coming out into, bright lights would be a bit of a shock.

I've just got quiet songs, ones that mean something to us like our wedding song and a few others like perfect day, chasing cars and with or without you.
I did think of New Kid in Town by The Eagles Grin
I've only got 10 so far so it needs more thought. Not sure how many you can fit on a CD, it's been a few years since I burned one Grin

TriJo · 13/08/2015 10:15

Thanks Niffertiti - any particular site? Wholly unimpressed at their use of +4-5 on their sizing chart though, I'd get no support off a 34 band at a 29" underbust!

I appear to be officially up two full cup sizes as of this morning. Fully expecting to get up as far as around a J cup by April Shock at this rate.

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 10:20

We put Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney on ours Grin

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 10:21

Don't worry Tri boobs don't expand at first trimester rate the whole time!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/08/2015 10:24

My boobs are sensitive, but still the same size. No expanding here. Thank God.

ThursdayLast · 13/08/2015 10:34

Are you large of bosom anyway honey?!
Mine are starting to swell a bit now, but nothing like as tender, sensitive or as fast as last time. I'm bloated to fuck all the time.
But the good news is it's pasty for lunch before MW appt. Grin
