Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

good luck at your appointment ga!

that's good lil, i must admit I hate sleeping on my sides

jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 09:58

i just realised i never claimed my emma's diary or bounty packs, is it worth getting them?

MollyBloomYes · 11/08/2015 10:05

Good luck for interview carrot!

Personally I wouldn't bother jelly, just a load of paper that gets thrown away and johnsons samples which I won't use anyway (notoriously harsh on lots of babies' skin). But then I massively object to bounty anyway and don't think they should be allowed on wards. I know exactly who they sold my details onto last time because they misspelled my name and it's quite alarming how prolific they were in doing so!

Bat I hear you on arm self consciousness, bane of my life!

ThursdayLast · 11/08/2015 10:29

Nope not worth it at all jelly.
Mumsnet is a better source of info and support than those Bounty packs.
I've never heard of Emma's Diary though?

I'm feeling especially grim this morning. I had a fairly busy day for me yesterday and I think it's catching up with me today. I've already had a bagel, a packet of crisps and a can if ginger beer!

ThursdayLast · 11/08/2015 10:30

I put a lot of effort into my arms earlier this year as I wore a sleeveless wedding dress Grin still riding that effort!

picklethistle · 11/08/2015 10:55

Just saw the GP and self referred to the midwife! Eek it's real!

Hope your appointments go well today ga

Good luck carrot

bat I love a good cardi no matter the weather

I used to sleep on my side but I seem to have switched to back. Enjoying a cup of herbal tea and some Jaffa cakes yum!

MollyBloomYes · 11/08/2015 11:27

Exciting pickle! Have you got an appointment or are you waiting for them to get back to you?

Just booked daisy birthing, looking forward to getting started!

honeysucklejasmine · 11/08/2015 11:30

So, I have celebrated 12 weeks by throwing up in the sink. I'd not eaten yet so just clear liquid, but I heaved so hard I think I pulled a stomach muscle. So now I am laying on the sofa binge watching "Don't Tell The Bride" and feeling sorry for myself. Sad

gaggiagirl · 11/08/2015 12:06

Aw honey. It'll pass.
jelly if you want loads of free shit its defo worth it. Really handy for free wipes nappies, sample sizes of baby stuff and coupons. Also thr offers on both websites are brilliant for saving money on big purchases.

lildottie · 11/08/2015 12:16

this is your body's way of counteracting your scanxiety honey hope it passes soon for you Thanks

just spoke to pg bff who went on and on and on about being pg and how awful it is and didn't mention my ivf even when I bought it up!! I haven't told anyone we are booked in again except you guys on here because I didn't feel I got any support from those I told last time when it went wrong so have kept it to myself, but its very lonely.

honeysucklejasmine · 11/08/2015 12:21

Lil bff? Are you sure? Doesn't sound like it. Angry

goodnessgraciousgouda · 11/08/2015 12:30

Apparently the french have something vaguely similar to daisy breathing (sort of a de stress programme which can be used during labour), and DH found it super interesting and was telling me all the history of it. I felt a bit bad having to say "Yeah.....I just want the drugs".

Sorry to all the viroids feeling a bit shit. I hope most of you are managing to avoid the worst of the heat back in the UK, and it's not quite so sickeningly sunny/furnace like.

bat - cardigans are amaze-balls though it's getting difficult to source a good one these days. It's all this ridiculous "kimono" shit - which resembles a kimono in exactly zero ways anyway (pet hate lol). Also, even if you have good arms, cardi's are excellent for hiding a spotty back. So I'm told...

Thursday - Can you get some rest today to recover? It's so awful when your body is saying "today I am resting" but you still have to force yourself to catch up on everything. Any nap opportunities?

Managed to get a consistent reading on the scales today - I've put on 3.5kg (about 7.5lbs), which is apparently well within the normal ranges for 19 weeks. Might celebrate with some chocolate. I've been making a big effort to be more active lately (though nowhere NEAR as impressive as our triathletes!) and think I've noticed an iota of muscle tone re-appearing in my arse and arms. I hope it lasts!

jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 12:54

lil :( we're here to support you through it!

oneyorkshirepud · 11/08/2015 13:01

Confused but Lil I thought we were your bffs?! Smile Seriously though, hope you are okay, we are here for you.

pretzelpieces · 11/08/2015 13:06

We're here lil, sorry bff is being inconsiderate Sad

ga hope appointment goes well today.

carrot good luck with the interview!

honey hope you feel better soon.

I've got a midwife appointment tomorrow (15 weeks) and then we're away Thursday to Sunday for a convention thing. I'm feeling pretty 'meh' mood wise at the moment. Need to do some radical decluttering to make baby/DP space!

oo pretzel is it your 16w check up? mines not till next friday!!

picklethistle · 11/08/2015 13:31

No appointments yet molly waiting for them to get back to me.

honey that sounds gross you poor love. I hope it passes soon.

lil what a bitch! Maybe she just doesn't know what to say but she could at least try! We are here for you, silly bff.

pretzel when does this nesting thingy start? We need to do the same here, shit everywhere and loads of DIY to get done. Hoping DH is going to feel the need to get it done now pg.

Yay for chocolate gouda

Iv just celebrated with a massive hour and a half nap! Now lunch, this is the life Grin

pretzelpieces · 11/08/2015 13:37

jelly Because I'm at increased risk of a few things, I'm seeing her every 4 weeks - so some parts of what they usually do at 16 weeks she'll probably cover this time eg checking for anaemia but other parts she might do at 19 weeks eg explaining the 20 week anomaly scan.

PS Saw your post on the other thread - we haven't shagged yet either! although I've done a few test wanks and it hasn't dislodged the foetus Grin Have mostly felt either too sick or too tired.

OP posts:
Indigoblue2 · 11/08/2015 13:39

lil she needs a C Bomb

pretzelpieces · 11/08/2015 13:41

pickle I don't know, do you think men get the nesting thing too? I'm not sure it really exists just a way to trick women into doing more housework. I'm sooo tired all the time, was hoping this mythical 2nd trimester energy would kick in so I could get it done it's a lie. Wink

OP posts:
jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 13:44

i did ask DP if he has had a wank since I got upduffed and he says he hasn't...16 weeks and no release...he's going to explode Grin

goodnessgraciousgouda · 11/08/2015 13:46

pretzel - feel you with the untrue second trimester energy issue. I've been needing more sleep/been more tired since the second tri than the first so you're not alone!!!

It's nice that the acne seems to have got much better though...

honeysucklejasmine · 11/08/2015 13:48

We've been having sex about once a week at the moment.

Breakfast came back up, so I had a slice of pumpkin pie for lunch. Healthy!

goodnessgraciousgouda · 11/08/2015 13:51

Wait,

some of you haven't had sex in over three months ??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mind. Boggled.

Howcome???

jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 13:52

almost 4 months gouda...

i fall asleep before DP comes to bed, and get up before he wakes up. Vicious circle I guess. Plus he's been stressed out with work and exams and i've just been stressed in general, so not really in the mood. Considering we were DTD every 2 or 3 days for 9 months prior to BFP, this feels very odd...
