Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Thanks jelly I'll look into private testing if NHS not forthcoming.

I must also be incubating Britters because all that food sounded amazing!

Country not at all. I hope he got it for you!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/08/2015 21:19

Country not at all. The only polite thing for him to say would have been "yes dear" or maybe "mistress, I submit to your will"

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 10/08/2015 21:20

Oh country poor you. Men are useless sometimes... Then they sulk if you get mad at said uselessness...

Mmmmm congi sounds good too...

deeplybaffled · 10/08/2015 21:23

Don't think that there is any nfmc(ervix), although not 100% sure - had a few sharp stabby pains under bump on left hand side, strong enough to make me double forward and clutch the pain, but they went away again after 15 mins or so, so presumably they were nothing significant? Can't say they were fun though.
in other news, i am almost constantly thirsty - had about 4 pints of squash / water/ other soft drinks today and still want more.
if others are incubating Britney, think I'm having a killer whale or something...
indigo, you are properly hard core!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/08/2015 21:33

Deeply aren't you supposed to have 8 pints a day? How much do you normally drink?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 10/08/2015 21:50

I thought it was 8 glasses. Like 8oz glasses... Trying to remember what that is in metric. Like 2/3 of a pint I think

Lookingforadvice123 · 10/08/2015 21:52

NFMF full on swamp fanjo the last few days, tres annoying. TMI but it often feels like it's dripping and is thin and watery, clear/white when dried on my knicks, this is normal right? Doesn't seem to be anything there when I wipe after a wee which I find weird. Have had a horrible uncomfortable stomach and lower back pains all day today so am hoping its not linked and is nothing sinister!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 10/08/2015 22:01

In case you all caught the chicken strips craving I have done you all a favour and done a taste test. The Asda hot and spicy ones are nice but the southern fried chicken ones are truly delish. Much tastier and quite good dipped in low fat creme fraiche...

hums tune of I'm a Slave for You

deeplybaffled · 10/08/2015 22:29

I think you are supposed to have about 4 pints a day in total usually. I'm probably averaging around 5-6 at the moment, and hence weeing a lot too!

lildottie · 11/08/2015 00:14

yeah 3.5-4 pints is about right. you have to be careful to not unbalance electrolytes when you drink lots of water though deeply so make sure you're getting enough salt excuse to get down the chippy tomorrow!

honeysucklejasmine · 11/08/2015 06:19

Ah. I see! Thanks ladies.

Lil I luff you, oracle. Flowers

batfish · 11/08/2015 07:09

Morning viroids!

looking the first time I heard about second hand breast pumps I thought ewww gross but apparently it's fine as they can be cleaned and sterilised, I might buy one from my friend as she has a fancy one she has hardly used as didn't feed for long due to having to take medication.

Had a bit of a traumatic shopping trip last night - girls night out on Thurs and I really wanted a nice dress, ended up fighting my way through the jersey materials and the frills and the nautical stripes and the florals and got a blue dress that looks OK. My mum says it looks gorgeous but she's my mum so it doesn't count. My bum is as big as my bump and I never have my arms out because they're fat too and it is sleeveless so I'm not sure how I feel about it but at least it's something new and I won't have to go out in the same jeans and vest tops I've been wearing for weeks! Doesn't help that many of my friends are super skinny so even when I go out feeling OK I see the photos afterwards and look about 4 times their size Sad

Sorry to the viroids who are feeling crappy!! My life has been a little bit transformed by the heartburn drug that the doc has given me - still feeling a bit guilty about taking it as I haven't even taken a paracetamol since pregnant (not through effort, just haven't needed to) but there is talk of heartburn on the October bus and it seems to be something that is prescribed often so I'm hoping I'm not drugging my baby! No sleep vomiting and I haven't taken a rennie or gaviscon for 2 whole days - so if anyone is suffering with heartburn and feels ok about taking something then I would say give it a go.

jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 07:49

I'm drinking about 1.5-2litres of water a day (don't deal in pints!) so I think that's the right amount!

honey I'll find out and PM you :) it made me feel so good last night though!

Feeling a bit better today, which is good. Looking forward to buying some bits for the baby over the next few weeks (we said we'd buy some small bits around week 16 and the big bits around week 24). Trying not to think of house moves!

molly I'm tempted to get tested privately for gbs, it's meant to be really simple.

CarrotPuff · 11/08/2015 08:03

Viroids wish me luck, going for an interview soon. Will catch up properly later!

Jcandy · 11/08/2015 08:06

Hi all, had a horrible day yesterday so didn't join you guys. Had a return of feeling sick and lightheaded. Managed to make it to work but spent the whole time feeling like I was going to fall over. It was so hot on the ward which I don't think helped. Felt a bit better when I could lie down again back at home. Hoping it's gone today but not got out of bed yet.

Pud heartburn started for me over the last week so it seems to be the time for it. Always starts about 4/5 o'clock.

Jelly congee is horrible! I've no idea how you can eat it. So bland and such a strange texture.

Can't remember who asked about Daisy birthing but it's a 6 week session that then gets repeated. I'm planning on going to more than one set for the movement and relaxation side of things and because there are no pregnancy exercise type classes around here.

Jcandy · 11/08/2015 08:07

Good luck Carrot Smile

lildottie · 11/08/2015 08:22

honey lol!

jelly 2l is 3.5pts

carrot good luck!

It seems I've made my way over here early again. being in limbo land sucks!

jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 08:34

good luck carrot :)

jc you poor thing :( you don't need it back again! And I love it, like it's actually my favorite thing ever! Splash of oyster sauce, and my aunt who makes it puts lumps of pork and chicken in, with the 100 year eggs....omg it's just amazing! Although I know a lot of people who don't like it!

lil not long till you're back here :)

oneyorkshirepud · 11/08/2015 08:36

Hi Lil (Waves likes a spesh)

JC, sorry you feel pants, hopefully just a one day blip.

Good luck Carrot!!!

Yey for baby shopping Jelly! Smile

Bat, I hear you on the arms thing, although I'm sure yours are beautiful Grin you can always wear a cardie/shawl if you are worried about it?

Done some research this morning as I am really struggling to sleep well without sleeping on my back. An article from the Journal of Obs and Gynaes says it is totally fine to sleep on your back (if it doesn't make you dizzy) but an article from the bmj says it could increase the rate of stillbirth but that further studies are needed. So at least that is conclusive! Back to wedging myself in with pillows then, boo.

jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 08:43

i forget when are you supposed to stop sleeping on your back. I have been doing my best to sleep on my sides but do find myself waking up on my back. Before I was pg I was a belly sleeper!

oneyorkshirepud · 11/08/2015 08:48

About 20 weeks Jelly, I am a belly/back sleepers, non of this side sleeping nonsense!!

jellypi3 · 11/08/2015 09:04

I haven't slept on my belly in ages :( Pre-pg it was because my boobs were so painful when I iced, and then sore boobs carried on up until about a week ago! And now my belly is too uncomfy to sleep on now!

Eating a danish for breakfast is justifiable right?

gaggiagirl · 11/08/2015 09:14

Ooh a danish. Yum.
jelly house stress high five!
I have 2 midwife appts today. My 'jill' appt at 11 and gp surgery midwife at 3. If I'm still measuring over I'm going to make a fuss for a growth scan.

lildottie · 11/08/2015 09:17

mmmmm Danish.

at least if I do ever have a baby I won't have to worry about how I sleep. side sleeping all the way curled up like a foetus here! Grin

batfish · 11/08/2015 09:24

pud I am most definitely a cardi wearer - my mum says she has no idea how, when I'm 7 months preggo and it's 45 degrees outside - but needs must! I'm never without sleeves! I'm not even particularly humongous, I'm just really self conscious about them probably due to skinny beautiful armed friends

jelly I don't know much about the GBS stuff but it sounds like a small amount to pay for a potentially life saving result so I would go for it, we are lucky that they test as standard here but I would definitely request it if not.
