Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I hate how whenever I feel a bit anxious about it, a thread pops up on the "miscarriage/pregnancy loss" forum about mmc at 12 weeks or later... Argh! I need to hide that forum. I don't want to know!

jellypi3 · 10/08/2015 13:21

honey remember you had the early scan that showed your bean's heartbeat so try not to worry. I know it's difficult (I was a nervous wreck before mine) but just focus on the fact you DID see your baby a few weeks ago, and MMC's are very rare. For all the posts about a MMC or other issues, there are hundreds that don't post about their positive experience :)

Lookingforadvice123 · 10/08/2015 13:47

honey I second the others, focus on the fact that you have seen your baby's heartbeat which dramatically reduces the risk of a mc, I think a mmc once you have seen the baby's heartbeat is very, very, VERY rare! But yes try and avoid all forums that centre around loss, I know that sounds awful as it's something that lots of women go through but when you're vulnerable in pregnancy it's the last thing you want to read/hear about.

Have any other viroids around the 20 week mark noticed any drastic changes in appetite? I've gone from being starving constantly only middle of last week, so snacking every couple of hours, to suddenly not feeling hungry at all and eating much less in the last few days. Sat night I couldn't even have a proper dinner, and yesterday I only had a little bowl of soup for lunch and very few snacks. Still feel the same today to the point where I feel sickly after having a bowl of porridge for breakfast. Assuming my stomach has less room due to baby's size but I didn't think it would happen this early at 19+2! Shouldn't complain I suppose as hopefully it means I won't pile the weight on as much!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/08/2015 14:20

Ladies, you are so right.

jellypi3 · 10/08/2015 14:29

my appetite has been varied looking but I think that's the stress.

i have noticed the past week it's been really uncomfortable bending over, i feel like theres an obstruction in my tummy, I take it this is normal?

oneyorkshirepud · 10/08/2015 14:31

Scanxiety is no fun Honey, but statistics are hugely in your favour, and you get to see your baby having a good old wiggle about on Friday. Try to breathe and stay as calm as you can, I know it is difficult.

Tri that is super impressive, good effort!

Looking, my appetite seems to go up and down. I also felt sick after porridge this morning, boo.

oneyorkshirepud · 10/08/2015 14:32

Yup Jelly, that is normal, like something is 'in the way' when you try to bend down.

oneyorkshirepud · 10/08/2015 14:38

Okay, so went to see DH'S colleague today who had offered us some baby stuff. She was lovely and gave us:

Cot bed
Pram/pushchair and accessories
Sling
Travel cot
Baby bath
Playmat with toys
Highchair
Bouncy chair
A few other bits and bobs

She didn't ask for any money but we offered, she said to give her whatever we felt was appropriate - help! It is all quality stuff (they have a beautiful mahoosive house so don't think they are short of a bob or two!) but is all about 6 years old and has just been sat in their loft. It is all good condition, just all needs a good clean. I am hugely grateful to her as this has saved us loads of effort /money, we were thinking of giving her £300, do you think that is enough?

honeysucklejasmine · 10/08/2015 14:49

Pud I would look up what those items cost second hand to give you a ballpark figure. Very nice of her too!

Fresh hell... Ate chocolate, instant vomit. Seriously?! I can't eat chocolate now?!

Lookingforadvice123 · 10/08/2015 15:01

My lower back is now really hurting too, boo. Pity party for one.

pud I was going to say £500, until you said it all needed a good clean! Assuming it has been sat gathering dust, so £300 sounds very reasonable. How generous of them, but so awkward that she hasn't specified how much she wants!

A colleague (very kindly) offered me her breast pump Hmm too much? Definitely for me!

jellypi3 · 10/08/2015 15:09

wow thats very generous pud, i'd say £300 is a decent amount to give :) my aunt is giving me her travel system, stroller and car seat with isofix seat fixture, so that's saved us around £1000 just there!

honeysucklejasmine · 10/08/2015 15:41

I'm going to get this pushchair. Lightweight, easy to fold, win win. Will prob get a group 0+ to 1 car seat if possible. We have some John Lewis vouchers from wedding left over so will get car seat with those.

Otherwise hope to get everything second hand.

jellypi3 · 10/08/2015 15:50

man swamp foof's got me bad today! even my tights are a bit ickly......gross! time of panty liners i think!

Purpleball · 10/08/2015 15:59

Pud I'd say £300 too

Jelly, Always Dailies are your new best friend

Honey, you'll be fine, it's hard though

Looking, my appetite has gone up and down. Some days I barely feel like eating, others I can't get full!

CarrotPuff · 10/08/2015 16:00

jelly I agree with others - screw what others think, you have to put yourself and jelly bean first! Get thee to the GP!

tri go you! I can't even go up the stairs without getting out of breath Hmm

indigo totally badass! Didn't know you lived on a farm, what a lovely place for a child to grow up!

lil we're keeping all gingers crossed and keeping a seat warm for you!

honey the chocolate going back up is a good sign things are going wellin there. Deep breath and keep yourself distracted.

pud wow, how nice of her. It looks like she had no intention/couldn't be bothered to sell it so I think she'll be happy with any amount!

Yesterday I couldn't finish my doughnut. I kept saying everything was tasting too sweet, which DP found hilarious as I have a massive sweet tooth. I did finish the said doughnut today and another one

ThursdayLast · 10/08/2015 16:42

Not for me looking! I loved my second hand breast pump til I melted it oops.

oneyorkshirepud · 10/08/2015 17:48

Thanks ladies, glad we weren't miles off the mark there with the dosh. Yep, it is definitely very generous, not only is it saving us lots of money but also having to weigh up the best/safest/best value version of everything - we have what we have and it will do just fine! I feel like i can enjoy buying the last few things now without lots of pressure to get it all done. This will spur me on with my DIY projects too as I need to get the nursery painted so I can get everything back down from our loft so I can clean/paint it all. SOOOOOO BROODY NOOOOOOOOW! Grin

Thursday, I also got a second hand Boob pump from my SIL (at 12 weeks, she got quite giddy about us being upduffed and just started chucking baby stuff at us ha ha!) Happy to use it but she did explain that there was a piece that should be sterile, and she had an unopened one of these. I just nodded and pretended not to be terrified

gaggiagirl · 10/08/2015 18:43

pud I was going to say £50, but I am as tight as a gnats chuff and will pay fuck all for fuck all!
deeply any movements from your cervix?
indigo baaaaaaaad aaaaaasssss!

jellypi3 · 10/08/2015 19:09

I've just devoured a bowl of Conji (Chinese savoury porridge) and now I feel so much better!!

MollyBloomYes · 10/08/2015 19:48

Jelly sorry the house is stressing you out, I imagine it's an absolute ball ache. I would be a mess! Absolutely get yourself signed off, last thing you need is extra stress.

Honey I hear you with scanxiety but just a few more days to go and you've seen a heartbeat which is a huge positive sign.

Daisy birthing...is the idea to do one block of classes or are you meant to keep going up til birth? Very tempted but don't want to blow load too soon if a one off, I'd forget everything!

Does anyone know anything about group b strep? There's a strong possibility I had it last time which is what made ds so ill but they never grew the cultures they took in the end. The Dr said to assume I had for any future deliveries but not really sure what that should mean. I belive people who've had it before have IV antibiotics in labour but is this standard? Got the consultant tomorrow and want to go in armed with knowledge! I'll check to see if there's other threads on this but thought I'd ask here as well!

jellypi3 · 10/08/2015 20:01

la knew loads about GBS, I know you can get tested privately for about 30 quid. Apart from that all I know is what you have said.

oneyorkshirepud · 10/08/2015 20:07

Massive balls. Think I am getting heart burn. Urgh.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 10/08/2015 20:14

No spells today and I wasn't weepy or angry or anything... I do have a giant cystic pimple on my neck but hey, you can't win em all... Craving American food like crazy... Found some Trader Joes saltwater taffy left over from NYC trip and gobbled it up. Craving a ceasar salad and chicken strips and desperate for dill pickles. Seriously think I might be incubating Britney Spears. If I start buying jewelled underpants and trying to find a giant snake send help Hmm

honeysucklejasmine · 10/08/2015 20:34

Jelly do you have a recipe?

CountryGal4 · 10/08/2015 20:57

Joined club 5am this morn and couldn't get back to sleep. My pelvis is agony today . Even painful led down so walkin is a struggle. On way up to bed asked dh to bring me paracetamol. His response was why don't you come back and get it. Was my curt response of 'because I'm half way up the fucking stairs ' mean ?
