Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 01/08/2015 13:26

Hi guys so nice to see all the names! FYI I was previously also augusthomotherium autonomousplum auxilliaryauroch Australopithecus auroraboringalis and I think one other that slipped my mind now. serial namechanger

eggsnbeans · 01/08/2015 14:50

I was wondering if that was you Auf ;) great to see you here!

Wow on the impressive bf Hide! I hoped to tandem feed when I got pg last time but my supply just dies when I get pg! Know a couple of ladies that have done though.

What a bugger to be put back by 3w Duchess! At least it wasn't a total shock to you, just makes the first tri feel like forever!

I had no symptoms until 7+w Ava, so def no need to worry! Even then my symptoms were very mild and could easily have missed everything except my growing belly!

eggsnbeans · 01/08/2015 14:52

Is the Feb fb group big Mumo? I get a bit lost on the thread sometimes! Have been thinking about joining the fb page though ;)

AvaAmulet · 01/08/2015 21:59

29 weeks already, Hide! Wow! Grin and I'm not planning on completely doing away with the miracle soother just yet either, if I can help it Wink I'd be up at 5.45 every morning with DD without bm to get her back to sleep for a couple more hours x

Is anyone/has anyone felt very chilly in the evenings? All this week I'm teeth chattering cold at night. Wondering if it's the pregnancy, or just me?? Confused

If it's the pregnancy, it's still my only symptom so far. Nausea kicked in at 6 weeks with DD, so mid-week I'd expect it to kick in again... Hmm, we'll see Hmm

AvaAmulet · 02/08/2015 11:23

Posted my query on the April 2026 Babies thread and got a lot of responses. It's not just me Wink Wink

AvaAmulet · 02/08/2015 11:24

2026?! Er, no, 2016 hope I don't have a baby in 2026, I'd be very old by then lol Shock

hideandsqueak · 02/08/2015 15:26

Haha that would be a very very long pregnancy! That would not be fun...

I was going to say I've not had the being cold thing but my main symptoms now are heartburn and not being able to get back up off the floor...

MayFlowers16 · 02/08/2015 16:35

I've been feeling the cold too Ava. I think it might be because our metabolism slows down. That would also explain why I've piled on the pounds.

Auf hello, great to see you on other side of the ttc threads!

Grin at hide not being able to get back up. I remember having to adopt some kind of 'roll and rise ' type manoeuvre.

Is anybody else showing much earlier this time around? I've been in maternity jeans for a few weeks now and even they seem quite snug Shock

hideandsqueak · 02/08/2015 17:53

May I was in my maternity jeans by 9 weeks this time - definitely show earlier the 2nd time but it has slowed somewhat and I also think my weight gain hasn't been as bad as before owing to the fact that this time I just don't stop running after the toddler! However my mat jeans are too snug now at nearly 30 weeks Hmm can't bring myself to buy anymore...

MayFlowers16 · 02/08/2015 19:08

Same here Hide. I went on holiday at eight weeks and by the end of the week my normal clothes were noticeably tighter. I'm only 14 1/2 now but I look much further along.

Mumof1sofar · 02/08/2015 19:20

Eggs quite a few newbies have joined recently but it's not nearly as big as the mn thread.

Mumof1sofar · 02/08/2015 19:21

Ava I've also been freezing in the evenings. I just put it down to the weather though but could be pregnancy related?

AvaAmulet · 02/08/2015 20:47

I'm sure it must be pregnancy-related, and like May said said, due to metabolism/circulation changes.

I get over-heated really quickly, especially with still bf'ing. I'm usually in shortie pj bottoms and vest tops at night, even with the pants summer we've been having. But tonight, again, despite the scorching day we've had, where we were in the garden playing all day, come 7pm I'm in sweat bottoms, winter socks and a throw blanket wrapped around me! DH is warm, and wearing shorts, no socks, I'm still freezing Confused but give me feeling chilly over sickness any day Grin

AvaAmulet · 02/08/2015 20:48

Said said? There's an echo in my freezing cave Lol Blush

hideandsqueak · 03/08/2015 17:51

I joined the Facebook group for October 2015 babies and no one else is still breastfeeding (that has admitted it anyway!). Makes me feel a little alone and like maybe it's not normal to still be feeding this late in pregnancy...

AvaAmulet · 03/08/2015 18:38

You're a trooper! Some women do feed throughout and go on to tandem feed, some toddlers who have weaned start back up again when they see a new baby on the boob. I wouldn't worry about it Smile

MayFlowers16 · 04/08/2015 15:23

Respect from here as well HideSmile

I understand what you mean though. Everyone I know who has had children breastfed for just a few weeks/months, or not at all. I always wondered what they thought about me 'still' feeding my 2 1/2 yr old.

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 04/08/2015 19:16

Am secretly hoping DC will want to bf again when my milk comes back in again for number 2. :)

Mumof1sofar · 04/08/2015 21:51

A friend has started up as a younique seller. She gave me a demo of the products earlier including the moisturiser, which she offered me to test. As I was about to she said, "you're not pregnant, are you? It can't be used in pregnancy". It got me thinking... Do any of you know any other beauty products/body lotions that we are not allowed to use in pregnancy? Tia.

MayFlowers16 · 05/08/2015 10:18

I can't think of anything Mumo, although if you'd have asked me three years ago when was expecting my pfb I probably would have realed off a great long list! Blush

MayFlowers16 · 05/08/2015 10:20

Or reeled off, even.

hideandsqueak · 05/08/2015 14:13

I can't think of anything either... I know some essential oils are on the banned list so any products that might contain them?

Mumof1sofar · 05/08/2015 21:44

Phew! As long as there isn't anything obvious that I'm missing! Smile

How is everyone feeling this evening? A week & a half until my scan & it feels like forever!

MayFlowers16 · 05/08/2015 22:00

It feels like an age until that first scan doesn't it?

I want my next birth experience to be like that last one just now on obem tonight. so calm, controlled and normal. Not too much to ask!

MayFlowers16 · 06/08/2015 18:40

Just got my combined screening results through : all clear, with a 1 in 65000 risk for downs. Feeling very fortunate Smile
